Maybe the moon isn't just something we turn into poetry when we're sad. It isn't just something to stare up at and hope that someone else is looking up too. Maybe its a thing that is real just as we are real. It is a thing that was Once a mass of broken pieces, all waiting to collide into something that would make them feel whole. It was a mass of swirling pieces in space waiting for their end to come, and instead, found each other wandering helplessly lost and came together like thousands of people in love searching for that missing piece. They found  eachother and formed something beautiful, something that would last a life time. It is not just something that gives us light in the dark. It is hope of a new beginning; Because yes maybe we are helplessly lost and broken into a million pieces on the floor, but one day we can become something as beautiful as the moon. Because maybe the moon isn't just the moon. Maybe it's a reflection of us and what we're meant to be. So be broken. Be so lost that you can't possibly find your way home. Because one day you will turn into something as beautiful as the moon.
