"You and Lucas don't talk?" Monique asked as we were getting ready to leave. "Nah we don't." I wrapped my scarf around my neck and left out. Tasha was talking to Lil Varney. "Heyyy brother." I hugged him. "Wussup?" He said hugging me back but he had on this made up trying to be sexy voice. Eww. I went in the car and Nikki was there. Another person who think I want their man. "Hello everybody." I said getting in the car. "Hi best friend." Durk said and we hugged. I already know she was giving him dirty looks. Everyone else said hello also. "Durk I'm still valid?" I asked. "You know that. I told mommy you coming so she made baked ziti with chopped up chicken cutlets inside, garlic bread, yellow rice and beans and corn bread." He said. "That's my mother that's my mother." I cheered. Lil Varney got in the car and Durk drove off. "Lil Varney fucking with oops." I said mushing him. "That's Tasha? Oh that's why you don't like her. She look better than you." He said and the entire car laughed. "Not even on my worst days nigga. And I have no problem with her. She mad because she think I want her nigga." I rolled my eyes. "Yeah okay." He said. "You'll find out the truth son or later." I said and Talia called me. "Hello?" I answered. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing, just got off of work about to go to Durk house. His mom cooked for me." I smiled. "Yesss. You work tomorrow?" She asked. "No why?" I asked. "I need for you to come with me down town to get Noolen a three month anniversary gift." She said and I can tell she was smiling. "Damn ima tell you about yourself later but yes I'll go with you of course." I said. "Yayyy. What time should I pick you up?" I asked. "One thirty, two o'clock because Renee going downtown around that time too." I responded. "Did I ask that?" She asked. "Who you talking to?" I asked. "Ann Marie." She said with attitude filling up her voice. "Check your tone and then call me back." I hung up. "That was my bae?" Bandz asked. I ignored him because that just pissed me off. Talia can never just accept none of my friends. She feel like I'm not suppose to be friend no body. Like what the hell? Shit is getting annoying.
We got out the car and went inside the house. "Is that my beautiful daughter?" Durk mother asked. "Yes ma!" Me and Tania said at the same time. We start laughing. "How was work?" She asked. "It was good. You know females don't like me because I'm good looking." I flipped my hair. "I hear you." We laughed. "Ma ya food smell good. Let me go bother everybody and I'll be back." I said. "Okay honey take your time." She said. I went to Tania room. "Hey Model." I hugged her tall self. "Heyy girl. How was work?" She asked. "It was pretty good. Same girl blowing mines." I rolled my eyes in my head. "It's going to be those. Like some girl in the modeling internship mad because everything I do the intern sweat me because my height and she say I do everything good. So the girl be rolling her eyes and me and my friends be laughing at her. Like why you jealous?" We start laughing together. "Pretty girl problems." We said at the same time and start laughing again. "I'm laying in here with you tonight." I said. "Oh cause Nikki and the baby here?" She asked. "Cause Nikki here. I can sleep in there if I want too but I don't feel like arguing." I said taking my work shirt off. "Oh okay cool." She said. "I be back I got to bother Dthang real quick." I said walking to his room. "Wussup favorite." I hugged him to bother him but he intervened in my stupidness. "Hey girl." He put on a female voice. "You annoying." I said sitting next to him. "Aww your Durky pooh occupied right now so you bothering everyone?" Bandz asked. "No I can go in there if I wanted too." I said. "Let me see." Wuk said. "When I feel like it because y'all trying to start something." I laughed sliding over to answer Lora call. "Heyyy." I answered. "Wussup what you doing tomorrow?" She asked. "I don't know yet because Talia mad for some petty ass reason. Renee wants me to go downtown with her though." I said. "Thats where Talia want to go so whats the problem?" She asked. "That's what im saying but ima just let her calm down because obviously she have an issue with someone else and I was the easiest target." I shrugged opening Durk door. He was playing the game on the Tv and she was holding Angelo. "Make sure she not talking about you on facebook. Go check." She said. "Okay." We hung up. "Hiiii baby. I haven't seen you in a while." I picked the baby up. "He just ate bestfriend make sure he dont throw up." Durk said. "He can throw up on me. I have to get in the shower anyways. I took a picture of him and posted it on snap. I held him for a while and then went back to Tania room. I was tired and ready to go to sleep anyways. I went and took a shower and that just drained me. "Ya phone was ringing and a couple of text messgaes came in." Tania said. "Ok, thank you." I locked her door. I put lotion on my body and got dress. I checked my phone and Lucas, Renee and Talia called me. And all three of them texted me.
Lucas: Yoooooo I didnt know you was like that. That's crazy. Its cool though 💪 😪✌
Me: Wtf you talking about? I did nothing to you.
Talia: I love you no matter what. Its fine who you want to be your friends
Me: Talia you & Durk my bff like I love y'all. I be trying to tell you you don't have to be territorial of me.
Renee: Ima call you at 3 tomorrow because my mom giving me the money around that time.

Then I called Talia. "Before we start talking let me tell you how cute you are and if you want to tell me any stories go ahead." She said trying to supe me up. All you cared about was her having a baby with our nigga." Talia said. "Shut up you're wrong. He told me he don't know that bitch and all this and all that." I said. "Someone's in denial." She threw some sarcasm in there. "I hate you." I said. "I love you more." She said. We stood there talking for about two more hours but I was quiet so Tania wouldn't wake up. I went in the kitchen and start making a plate and here come Durk. "Greedy." He grabbed a plate nudging me. "Shut up and Durk I have to tell you something but I'm scared you gonna get mad." I said setting aside my food and making his. "But you have to tell me now or I'm gonna be mad." He said. "Nope." I said. "Its bad." I said. "You let somebody else hit before me?" He asked. "Byeee." I pushed him and then we start laughing. "Nah be real with me." He said scooping some food up. "Let's go to the store just in case you wanna yell." I said. "Damn Marie what you do?" He asked. I ignored him and put my Uggz on and my coat
He got ready and we left out. He waited until we was a couple of houses down. "What you do?" He asked. "Listen its this boy at my job and I kind of like him, well I don't but I don't know." I said. "So what's the problem?" He asked. "The boy is Lucas." I said. He repeated the name to himself. "Light skin, tall, curly head nigga?" He asked and I was afraid to nod but I did. "He a opp dub that whole situation." He said. "I figured you'll say that." I rolled my eyes. "What you expect? If that nigga see me he gonna want to kill me." Durk said. "So I'm writing him right now telling him we can't talk because of that." I said with an attitude. "Marie." He said. "Yeah?" I asked, I couldn't believe I was really mad. "The only reasons it's a dub because I would think twice before shooting him if y'all was together so I rather it this way." He said walking my pace. "Nigga you got a son why the fuck would you shoot somebody?" I flipped the script. "Because I'm about this street shit." He said and we went back in the house. I was heated. I didn't even text Lucas. Fuck it. I start throwing subs at Durk.
Ann Marie: Really feel like people be just don't want to see me happy.
Ann Marie: I just want to go far away. I'm tired of the drama shit. Its stopping my happiness.
What I wasn't prepared for was Durk to throw up statuses back. He said corny shit like I was here first. I don't care about none of that though. Lucas texted me.
Lucas: Is everything alright?
Me: no not at all. & Lucas we can't talk no more ✌ you and my best friend have this beef that's going on, so of course I have to be on his side. Sorry no hard feelings.

I wanted to write back but I already know that's going to keep the conversation going and I don't need that. Durk already going to blow mines. I packed my stuff and called a cab. I was mad because I didn't have to tell him and could've kept it a secret. "Where you going?" He asked and I ignored him holding my bag. "Marie." Durk tapped me and I continued to ignore him. "Ann Marie!" He yelled and Tania woke up. "That's your stupid ass brother yelling." I rolled my eyes. "Marie come here for real." Durk pulled me out the room. I was about to curse him out but I decided against it. "What?" I rolled my eyes. "One ya not going no where because its way too late. Cab or not. Two why you so mad?" He asked. "I'm not mad." I rolled my eyes. "Be real with me. I don't like that lying shit, as you would say." He said. "Obviously I have a attitude." I rolled my eyes in my head. "Why?" He ate some food. "Because one you're not being fair." I rolled my eyes. "How?" He asked. "Because I've never done that to you." I said. "You like this nigga like that?" He asked. "No but its the simple fact that you trying to control me and you not even my nigga." I rolled my eyes. "Alright you can talk to him and we won't be best friend we can be friends." He said. "That's fine with me." I bumped him walking out the kitchen. "You forgot your bag!" He shouted. I grabbed my bag and went to the cab. I'm not going to pick Lucas over Durk but im just not going to speak to him either.
