Jacob's P.O.V
The mystery girl gave me her number on a sheet of tampered-with paper. I lit up inside. She started to ride away on her skateboard when I forgot her name-or I didn't know it. Did she tell me but I wasn't paying attention? Was I to busy staring at her curves, her hair, her eyes? Oh no. This is gonna be so embarrassing if she already told me, but I have to ask her before its to late. "I didn't catch your name!" I yell before she can ride away on her cool skateboard. "My name is--" and just then, my heart sank. A car had struck her. Just like that. I rushed over to her and realized I forgot my phone inside. Sh*t. How could I be so stupid? I run inside and get my phone and notify my parents. I call police and ask for an ambulance while my dad tells the girls' father.
7 Minutes Later
It's been 7 minutes and no ambulance. I'm freaking out. But why? I don't even know this girl? She gave me her number and that was it. But I felt as we had a connection, like it was fate. The first girl I met who wasn't a crazy fan. No. She was different.

Finally! The ambulance. I pick the mystery girl up and into my arms while her dad sits on her porch step, crying. The ambulance put her on a stretcher and carry her into the back of the ambulance truck. I don't hesitate to go with. What? She's hot. You can't go wrong with that!
24 Hours Later
y/n's P.O.V
I wake up in a hospital bed, with tubes in my arms, bandages on my head, and not enough pain to keep me from saying "Hey." There in the chair next to the bed sits a sleepy Jacob. Jacob. The boy I barely met. Why is he here? What happened? The last thing I remember was I gave him my number and rode off of my skateboard, then what? Did he shoot me? Did I fall of of my skateboard pretty badly? I have no clue. He hardly wakes up after I manage to say "Jacob?" and he looks so happy. "y/n! Your awake! Nurse! Nurse! She's awake!" The nurse quickly came in and signaled Jacob to leave the room. "NO I'm not leaving y/n! You can't make me!" Why does this strange boy care about me so much and better yet, how does he know my name? I don't remember telling him. He finally left the room after arguing with the nurse. The last thing I see is the doctors speaking with Jacob, and looking down farther to see I have my same clothes on as I did earlier when I met the boy: black high-waisted shorts, a messy bun (except messier now), black converse and my nice white t-shirt with a picture on it only now blood covers it. After seeing this I fall into a deep sleep.
