"Chandler come back!" Is heard from across the yard
2nd grade is a place full of small kids thinking their grown ups because they're in elementary school. All of them are so wrong. Most girls are grossed out about boys and vice versa. Except for the 2 love birds that are playing tag in the playground
"You'll never catch me Violet" Screamed Chandler laughing at his friend
Violet chased Chandler through the slide until she finally cached up to him and violently tagged him in the back.
"HA! doofus!" She laughed at him running away and climbing to the monkey bars
Chandler jumped till' he reached his friend and he slapped her in the forearm making her fall on her butt
"OW!" Yelled Violet who stayed put in the ground
"Violet!" yelled Chandler letting go off the monkey bars and sitting with his legs crossed in front of his friend
"Vi, are you okay?" He asked her taking her hand in his
"Yeah, but my butt hurts" She said laughing and wiping her skirt
"I like you Violet" Chandler told her laughing
"I don't. but you're a great friend" Violet told Chandler standing up and walking over to her friends "See ya" He said to her
6th Grade
Ah, sixth grade. The place where most childhood relationships start. Boys and Girls are getting together and crushing on each other, and it was no surprise that Chandler was still after Violet.....
"Good Morning Vi" Said Chandler as he stepped next to her
"What do you want now Chandler" Asked Violet not wanting to deal with him
"I was just saying hi to my golden girl that's it" He said smirking.
"You know I hate that nickname"
"Yeah but it fits you"
"How? You do know it is a tv show about old ladies right?"
"Yes Vi, I did my research, But as I was saying you're my golden girl because when people win competitions they get a golden metal, because they're number one, and well, you're my number one"
Violet didn't say anything, she never knew how to react to his compliments
"Anyway" Chandler started off
"Guess who'll beat your ass in the county spelling bee little Violet" Chandler told Violet as he walked beside her in the halls
"Can you seriously get more annoying?" She asked him pissed, Violet was holding her science textbook and her binder in her arms, when she didn't notice where she was stepping and she fell to the ground with all her stuff
All of middle school who was there roared of laughter, laughing at the little sixth grader who just dropped all her stuff.
"Hey! Shut Up" She heard Chandler yell at everyone.
He bent down and helped her pick up her stuff. When they stood up Violet brushed her skirt and almost walked away when Chandler suddenly stopped her in her tracks
"Give me your books, I'll carry them for you" Said Chandler. And he did just that
8th grade
Ah, eighth grade, the last year before high school, and in Chandler and Violet's case, their last year together. Violet thinking she hates Chandler is more than intrigued in leaving the annoying boy behind, But Chandler just wants to make every second count between them.
"Hey, what block do we have next?" said Violet asking no one exactly, putting stuff away in her locker.
"Graduation practice babe" She heard Chandler say from behind her. She turned around and saw him standing there with his mighty glory
"You're blocking my locker babe" He said as she turned around
"What?" she asked
"Your locker is above mine, And you're blocking my way" He said gesturing her to move away with his hand
Violet scoffed and walked away to the school's chapel, where their 8th grade graduation practice would take place. Everyone had a partner, from which they would cross the isle with their arms attached. And for Violet's luck, she had Chandler as a partner.
"Okay Class, shut up and listen!" Mrs.Baker screamed across the room full of noisy eight graders
"We'll rehearse the entrance 2 times and then we'll talk about the formal dance"
Formal dance was where you had to slow dance to a lame song with your graduation partner. Violet tried everything and anything for the teachers to change her partner, but once you get your partner, there's no going back.
"Everyone line up behind Adam and Cheryl, just like we've practiced
Chandler and Violet where the 4th to go. Once they got behind the couples, Violet scoffed as loud as her mouth could allow so Chandler could see she didn't want anything to do with him. Which hurt Chandler, she liked her so much and she couldn't see it.
"Ready babe" He asked her as she wrapped her arm around his'
"What happened to golden girl, did I finally grow out of it?" She asked him
"What? no, you'll never grow out of it, I just have many nicknames for you" He said looking down at her
the height difference between them was heavy.
"Ok, we're next" She said sternly
"Don't screw up" He said
Violet and Chandler walked together arm with arm, everything was going well, when all of the sudden Chandler feels Violet's arm slip away, and the next thing he sees is her laying in the ground. Why is she always falling?
Everyone began laughing, as well as Violet's friends
"Hey, shut up!" Chandler yelled at all of them and then proceeded to pick her up
He grabbed her forearms and he helped her stand up, she quickly pulled her arms away and she stormed of to the back of the chapel
Everyone kept laughing and Chandler followed Violet until he got to her
He spun her around and he saw tears forming in her eyes "Hey, it's okay, it's all okay, I'm here" He told her grabbing her hand which she quickly pulled away
"I. Don't. Get. Why. You. Care. So. Much" She spat at him pausing within every word. She walked around him and she got back to her spot at the front of the chapel
"Because I love you" Chandler said softly

Soooooooooo I don't know if this counts as an update but I think it's sUPeR cute seeing them as a couple through the years, like I honestly love writting about their character development
