-(Y/N) P.O.V.-
I opened my eyes to the bright light shining on my face from the window in the room I share with my boyfriend. I sat up slowly, stretching my back, and turned around to wake him up, but his space was empty and cold.
"Taehyung?" I called, drawing out the syllables whilst standing up from the bed, my feet hitting the cold floor. He's never left the house without telling me before. He should know by now that I have an extremely active imagination, and that I usually think up the worst possible scenario. He knows this, so why?
"Yah Kim Taehyung this isn't funny!" I called out again, getting slightly upset. My face slowly drew further and further into a frown as I searched through the entire, empty house with no sign of Taehyung.
I sauntered back up to my room slowly, my imagination running wild as thoughts flitted through my frantic brain. I grabbed my phone quickly dialing Tae's phone number, my fingers fumbling over the buttons. Nothing. I must have called a thousand times (A/N : sorry I had to do it). He still hasn't answered, so I decided to call his best friend Hoseok.
"Hey (Y/N) wassup?"
Thank God he answered, I thought.
"Have you seen Taehyung? He's not at the house or answering my calls" I said quickly, my words tripping over each other since I was really freaking out.
"Yeah . . . uh . . . actually I haven't seen or heard from him either."
"Jung Hoseok you better not be lying to me." I demanded, tears pricking my eyes. I could have sworn I heard Taehyung's voice faintly in the background.
-Taehyung's P.O.V.-
Hoseok hung up the phone after he assured (Y/N) that he wasn't lying.
"Thanks hyung," I mumbled.
"So . . . why exactly are you avoiding (Y/N)? She seemed really freaked out that she couldn't get ahold of you." Great . . . just the question I didn't want anyone to ask me, "Why are you avoiding (Y/N)," I thought while thinking of any reason to say, all except the truth. Anything but the truth.
Why I'm really avoiding her? I'm slowly dying, and I don't have the money to get proper treatment. I don't want to see her cry, see tears run down her beautiful face. That's why I'm actually avoiding her. Hoping she'll move on and forget about, and live a happy life with someone who can be with her forever. Because, I can't, not now, not ever.
