CHAPTER FORTY - SURPRISE!
(THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER OF TCGK! EPILOGUE IS NEXT)

-ALEXIS' POV-
"Bes! Wala ka bang natatandaan?" Tumingin ako kay Yanelle. Natatandaan? Wala err naman.
"Huh? Wala" Ipinagpatuloy ko ang pagkain ko. "Sure ka?" Tanong niya na naman ulit.
"Oo, bakit ba? *chuckle*" Umiling lang si Yanelle kaya nagcrossed arms na lang ako.
"Basta bukas, Im sure masosorpresa ka *grin" Kumunot na lang ang noo ko at umiling.
-KINABUKASAN-
"Wifey, youre ready?" Tumango ako. Excited na ako sa mall tour nila. Actuall guest lang naman talaga sila pero siguro naman diba, sisikat sila.
"Tara!" Excited na sabi nila Owen. Pumasok na kaming lahat sa Van. Ang Scenery naman ay nasa kabilang van kasama si Denise.
"Teka? San ba talaga tayo pupunta?" Tumingin ako sa dinadaanan namin. Ba't parang sumasakay kami sa barko?
"Basta!" Nginitian ako ni Van kaya ngumiti na lang rin ako ng pilit.
Huminto na ang sinasakyan naming van. At nakatulog pala ako. Dinilat ko ang mata ko at nakitang si Denise at Yanelle na lang ang naiwan. Atsaka wala si Aisha kasi alam niyo na, buntis.
"Teka, nasan ang iba?" Nasa isang room kami at nakikita kong may mga gown at high heels. Teka? Gown? High heels?
"Ano bang nangyayari?" Bagot na tanong ko. Inaayusan kasi nila akong dalawa. Yung buhok ko. Kinurl nila ang dulo nito at nilagyan ako ng make up. Nilagyan pa nila ako ng korona pero iyong maliit lang.
"Ito ang susuotin mo *smiles*" Tinignan ko ito at....debut gown? O____O D-debut?
"D-debut gown? Ibig sabihin...."
"Yup! Debut mo ngayon! Bat mo naman nalimutan, Besh!" Tulala parin ako. Bat nga ba nalimutan na debut ko na pala? Aish!
"Tara suotin mo na!" Tinulungan nila ako isuot ang gown ko.

"Ang ganda mo sa gown, Bes!" Tili ni Yanelle. Niyakap niya ako. "Happy 18th birthday, Bespren!" Niyakap ko siya pabalik. "Thank you, Bes"
"Happy 18th birthday, Alex" Ngumiti ako kay Denise at nagpasalamat.
Pinasuot na nila saakin ang 4incg heels. "Tara na! Baka magkawrinkles na si Van sa kakahintay dun! Hahaha!" Inalayan nila ako at lumabas na kami sa hotel room.
Namangha ako dahil puno ng rose petals ang dinadaanan namin. Pagdating namin sa dulo ay may hagdan at *naiyak* shocks! Nandito sila Mommy,Daddy, at Kuya! Ang mga classmates ko noon, ang mga pinsan ko! OMG!
"Please let's all welcome our beautiful and gorgeous debutant! Ms. Alexis De Guzman!" Dahan dahan akong bumaba sa hagdan. Habang bumaba ay ngumingiti ako may konting luha sa mata. Ayawa ko namang masira ang make up ko.
Pagkababa ko ay niyakap ako nila Mommy. "Happy Birthday, Sweetie! Finally, you are now 18!" Ngumiti ako pero ng maalala ko si Alexa, my twin.
"Kung nandirito lang si Alexa, Mommy. Pero I know she's happy kung nasan man siya ngayon" Ngumiti ako.
"Syempre naman, Bunso! Happy Birthday! Dalagang dalaga kana!" Niyakap ako ni Kuya. At ang huli naman ay si Daddy.
"My beautiful daughter! You are now finally a woman. Happy Birthday, Alexis" Naiiyak akong yumakap kay Daddy. "Thanks, Dad!" Hinalikan ko siya sa pisngi.
Natapos ang 18 candles ay sumunod na ang 18 roses.
"Now, lets proceed to our 18 roses!" Pumunta ako sa gitna. First dance ko si Daddy. Binigay niya saakin ang rose
"Ang baby girl ko. I wish a better future for you. And I hope now you are happy. I love you, daughter" Niyakap ko si Daddy. "Thank you, Dad! I love you too" Binitiwan na ako ni Daddy at sumunod ang Daddy ni Van. Si Tito Migs.
Kasali rin sa 18 roses ang mga pinsan ko at lalong lalo na ang Vowelss. Unang nakipagsayaw sa akin ay si Owen.
"Alexis!! Happy Birthday! 18 ka na at pwedeng pwede na maging misis! Hahaha!" Binatukan ko siya at nagpasalamat. Sumunod si Liam tapos si Will. At ang kambal.
At ang 17th dance ko. Si Ethan. Nginitian niya ako ng matipid at binigay ang rose.
Sumayaw na kaming dalawa at tumikhim siya. "Happy Birthday, Alexis. Today, I hope you will be very happy but I hope that you will also wait.." Kumunot ang noo ko.
"Wait for what? Ethan???" Biglang dumilim ang paligid at tumutok saakin ang spotlight.
Biglang bumukas ang isang spotlight at huminto kay.... Napatakip ako sa bibig ko. Si Van ang Icey ko! Nakasuot siya ng white tuxedo at may hawak na white roses. Di ko namalayan na napaluha na pala ako.

"Alexis, *chuckles* I know this song is too old. But I love its meaning. Because I swear that I will love you forever. Happy Birthday, Wifey and.... Will you marry me?" Napaluha ako ng lumapit na siya saakin at lumuhod.
"OMG! Yesss!!" I kissed him fully in his lips. Im so happy! Very happy!
But I only wish it.
Because after that, he left.
They left.....
And left me broken and hanging.
But still Im holding his promise.
