Mitch Grassi's POV

WHEN I WOKE UP, I didn't see Scott, but instead, Kevin, Avi, and Kirstie. I groaned, my head starting to hurt more than I anticipated last night. "Fuck," I muttered. "What happened?"

"One or two of your drinks last night were drugged," Avi sighed. "By who, we don't know."

"You're okay though," Kevin smiled. "And that's what important."

"Who found me?" I asked.

"Scott, obviously," Kirstie replied. "He brought us to you and I don't think I've ever seen him so stressed. He seemed so depressed when he gave us you."

"Really," I wanted to smile, but that seemed mean.

"Yeah," Avi smiled with a shrug. I looked around, but it didn't seem familiar. "Where am I?"

"Oh!" Kirstie grinned, a blush forming on her cheeks. "My place."

I nodded, not replying, and slowly got up off of the couch I was on. "Thank you guys," I mumbled, standing up. I felt a bit of nausea hit me, but I ignored it.

"Mitch?" Kev said. "You okay?"

"Huh?" I looked to him. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine."

My stomach churned, and I bit my lip, ignoring it again. I felt dizzy, and I wanted to desperately sit down, but I knew I shouldn't have. "No, you're not," Avi would've caught me if I had fallen. "I am!" I insisted. "Let me heal myself."

They all sighed or groaned, but let me nonetheless. I walked around, taking some deep breaths, and making sure I didn't puke, I walked back to the three. "See? I'm fine."

"Okay," Kirstie said warily, as if she didn't trust me. "Anyways, I'm gonna go get you something to eat, you seem a bit... weak," she smiled sheepishly, shrugging and rushed into the room that I assume was the kitchen.

I looked to Avi and Kevin. "Is she okay?"

"She's still a bit shaken up from Scott. She saw him last night for the first time in a week or more of his disappearance, maybe," Avi replied.

"Oh," I mumbled. Then I remembered what I had to tell Kirstie. "I'll be right back."

I slowly walked into the room she basically sprinted into, seeing her at the counter, holding onto it for dear life. She must've not noticed me come in, so when I gently touched her shoulder, she jumped and looked at me.

"Oh," she let out an intake of air. "Thank God, you scared me. Sorry, I was just..." She trailed off. "Thinking."

"Don't be sorry," I smiled, "But uh," I sighed. "Not to make things worse, but Scott mentioned that he, and I quote, 'won't be back for awhile'."

She nodded slowly, "Okay. Don't worry, you just needed to deliver the message, I won't shoot the messenger."

I smiled gratefully. "Do you need some help? I don't think you're alright right now. I can always make myself something."

She sighed, "No, I'm fine. How about we do something positive?"

"Alright, like what?" I inquired.

"Like bake cookies."

"Really?" I chuckled. She simply nodded, "Yes! I have so many types I need to try."

I smiled with a nod, "Anything to make you happy, Kirst."

"God, no wonder he's in love with you," she rolled her eyes. I stared at her, "What?"

"Oh, he didn't tell me, but it's quite obvious he is. I mean, he hasn't ever opened up to people besides me. And now you? Even if it was just for a little bit? That has to say something."

I scoffed, "Believe what you want. I'll get Kevin and Avi," and with that, I left the room to the previous room I had been in.

"Kev, Avi. Want to bake some cookies?" I asked. They both looked to me, and Avi lit up while Kevin smiled. I believe that's a yes. I gestured for them to come in there, and they willingly followed.

"What type?" Kirstie asked as soon as all three of us were back.

"Uh, I vote chocolate chip," Kevin said. I looked to him, "I approve. I'm with Kev."

Kirstie looked to Avi expectantly. "Well, what's your choice?"

"Is barbecue a choice?" He asked, seeming to be serious. I rolled my eyes, anyways. "He's joking. He votes for chocolate chip, too."

She chuckled, her eyes lingering on Avi for a bit too long. "Okay," she nodded, looking to her cupboards. "I'll get the mix."

***

Well, we didn't particularly get to baking if that's what you're curious about.

I mean, we did, eventually, but then there was the fight.

Avi and Kirstie were arguing who got to eat the remains of the cookie batter, and Kev and I just watched them as they fought. But then, and this was when the "fight" started, Kirstie had grabbed the bowl, poured it all over Avi, and glared at him.

He stood in shock as the batter flew down him in an instant, his mouth agape. "You didn't just..." He said quietly, looking down to his feet, the black shoes he wore being a lighter color then because of what happened.

Avi slowly looked back up to the blonde girl, smirking lowly as he grabbed the bowl from his head and looked at it, examining it for a moment, before putting it on top of Kirstie's head. And then that's when Kevin started to laugh, making Kirstie even more furious, leading her to throwing the extra batter at Kevin, except some got on me... thus, resulting in the food fight.

With batter and decorations being thrown everywhere, it was chaos. Kirstie seemed to team up with me, while Kevin and Avi teamed up as well. Kirst and I were behind her table, waiting for their eager destruction, and then we heard cupboards being opened and things being taken from them.

Kirstie handed me a bottle of abnormally large rainbow sprinkles. "Go big or go home," she winked. I stared at it, then a smirk spread across my face as the two of us silently (and quietly) got up from our spots and threw as many things as we could at them. Most, of which, had hit the dragon loving barbecue obsessed man.

Sure, Kevin was messy, but nowhere near as bad as Avi or Kirstie. They seemed to be only targeting each other, excluding both Kevin and I. I wouldn't say I was sad, I was actually quite pleased they left me out of the situation, but everything stopped when Avi and Kirstie stood up, both clearly infuriated, and both holding weapons.

"Give up," he whispered. "Me?" She laughed. "Never."

Her eyes narrowed on him like he was prey. It was funny, so Kevin and I laid back and watched the entire dilemma. They got closer within each step, and when they were nearly chest to chest, Kirstie softened, and Avi seemed to look down at her with vulnerable eyes. He glanced at her lips, and once he did, Kirstie noticed, and then she did the only thing that was completely logical in war.

She smeared the frosting on Avi's chest. "Oops?" She shrugged.

He smiled, and I didn't find any deviance in it, so Kev and I stood, prepared to help clean the kitchen with Kirstie and Avi. "Nice," he whispered. She smiled as well, but contained herself and looked around. "Looks like we have a problem, don't we?"

Frosting, sprinkles, and cookie batter were everywhere, basically. A lot lined the walls, most on the floor, and I'd say about a good 30% of it was on Avi.

Oh well. Go big or go home, like Kirstie said.
