"Hey Corey! Angel yelled while making her way over to us

Corey had looked shocked. He hadn't expected to be caught taking me out. Corey also hadn't expected to see Vince with Angel.

Vince walked over and stood beside Angel.

"Hey guys, I didn't expect to see you here." Corey said.

I took a glance at Corey to see he was shifting uncomfortably from foot to foot.

"Yeah, I decided that I wanted to come down here today, and Angel was willing to join me." Vince shrugged it off.

Deciding to clear the awkward air for Corey, I offered that we all ride some rides together. Everyone had agreed. We had all decided that it would be best to start off on a roller coaster.

We jumped into line together and had a small wait before getting on.

"So Corey, how do you know Angel?" I asked

"I, well, uh." He stammered. "We go out every once in awhile."

Angel blushed and looked the other way. Vince looked my way sending me a knowing look.

"Next four people please." The worker spoke up.

The cart had four seats; two faced the front while the other two faced the back. I grabbed Vince and shoved him in the back with me, leaving Corey and Angel to sit together in the front.

Corey turned around and sent me a confusing look.

"Sorry, it's just I know Vince gets a bit nervous and doesn't want to embarrass himself."

Corey sent me an understanding "oh" and turned back around.

Vince on the other hand sent me a glare

            "What?" I asked innocently.

"I am not afraid." He said.

“I bet you will yell Mr. Tough guy."

He smiled. “You have to buy me a funnel caked if you yell."

"You owe me a funnel cake if you yell then." I taunted.

"Deal." He said while reaching out to shake on it.

Just as we shook hands the ride started.

The ride consisted of many twists and turns, I had held in my urge to scream while Vince on the other hand looked as if he didn’t have a care in the world. I thought we had reached the end when we went through a dark tunnel. Instead of ending the ride suddenly did a quick dive to the ground.

Since I hadn't expected the drop I yelled out in surprise. I grabbed onto Vince and oddly enough he put his arm around me. The ride then came to a screeching halt.

Angel and Corey quickly got out and headed for the exit. Vince took his time getting out, leaving me to help myself. Vince easily climbed out onto the walk way using his long legs. I on the other hand had to hop onto the walkway.

Being the ever so graceful person I am I fell onto the ground. Vince stood there chuckling while I gathered what dignity I had left and got up.

As we reached the exit we also approached Angel and Corey. Corey was smiling and laughing while Angel hung onto his arm laughing as well.

            "You definitely screamed!" Angel exclaimed.

"No way! Men don't scream babe." Corey replied back.

"Oh so that wasn't you screaming then Corey?" Vince chimed in.

Corey looked over sheepishly and smiled.

"No I bet it was the birds." He replied.

Angel and I both laughed at Corey's denial.

We walked out to the middle of the amusement park.

"Where to next guys?" Corey asked.

"Oh! Can we ride the screamer?" Angel asked.

"Actually, I'm kind of hungry, why don't you guys go and we'll meet up later?" I suggested.

Angel looked delighted, before Corey could get a word in she was already dragging him away. Once out of our hearing range I turned to Vince.

"You know." He started, "You yelled, so I believe that means I get a funnel cake.”

I rolled my eyes." Fine let’s go."

I sat across from Vince and laid the funnel cake in front of him, he pushed it to the middle.

"Sharing is caring." He said after taking a bite.

Smiling I took a bite of the funnel cake. Vince could be polite in his own ways, he wasn’t like most guys.

"You know this was a great idea.” Vince spoke up.

I looked up surprised. "Thanks, I hope this works."

I hadn’t expected Vince to compliment my idea.

He grabbed another piece of funnel cake. “Oh the plan, well yeah I hope it works out to, I really meant the bet. This funnel cake is delicious."

Rolling my eyes I couldn’t help but sit and look at Vince intently. Suddenly it hadn't occurred to me why Vince wanted to really help me. What was in it for him?

"What are you getting from this?" I asked.

Vince looked up surprised. “My friends, they became players and forgot what love was. I want them back. This game has been taken too far."

It hadn't occurred to me how the game might actually affect each of the boys. I didn't think how it might change each of their lives. It would obviously hurt the poor girls they used, but I never took how it might affect them into consideration.

“I didn't think you would be the one to say that." I replied.

He didn't seem shocked. "I didn't think you would be the one to help me end the game." He answered back while grabbing another piece of funnel cake.

I shoved the last bit of funnel caked into my mouth.

"Touché" I mumbled while chewing my food

Vince took the plate and stood up. "We should find Corey and Angel."

I nodded my head in agreeance and followed him to the nearest trash can. Vince and I then decided that before finding Corey and Angel that we would stop by the water fountain to get a drink.

We stopped at the water fountain, while Vince leaned over to get a drink; I leaned up against an old fence beside him.

Seconds later I laid flat on the ground with wood poking me from every direction. Vince rushed over to where I was laying and stuck out his hand to lift me up.

"Wow only you manage this Mel." He said while shaking his head.

Halfway up I replied. "Thank you you're su- ouch."

I landed flat on my back once more. I pushed myself up to my elbows

"What the hell Vince?" I yelled angrily

Vince didn't even reply to my anger, instead he stood there withwide eyes staring at me.

"Hey jackass, mind telling me what caught your attention?" I asked while getting up.

Vince grabbed my arms and spun me around. I turned around wiping myself off.

"What Vince? What is so important?" He pointed ahead/

My eyes followed the direction of his finger; my eyes then grew wide at the sight.

            Oh.
