"I hate this."
"What?" She asked.
"I can't seem to control myself when I'm with you. My heart goes out of control. My brain goes haywires. Autonomic instability. Palpitation. Sweating. I can't even talk and act properly when you look at me. I feel like an idiot."
"Here." She reached out her hand to him.
"What?"
"Just take my hand." She smiled.
He touched her hand lightly. Unsure. But then she held his hand tightly.
"Can you feel it. My warmth? Now you don't have to be unsure of anything anymore. I'm here for you."
And that's how she made him whole again.
