Chapter 25
Luke's POV
She was getting out of a car. A blond boy with tattoos sat in the drivers seat. I didn't know who he was. She laughed and kissed his cheek before he made some sort of joke and she flipped him off. He drove away and she began looking around.
"Over here!" Michael yells basically right into my ear. She looks at us three and her face lights up. This makes my heart swell. I missed her so much. She walks over to us quickly.
"Hello Luke." She smiles shyly at me.
"Wha- When. Why are you here?" I stutter.
"Didn't you want me to stay?" She looks confused.
"Of course I want you to stay."
"Well I'm staying." She smiles and that's the last straw. I pick her up and twirl her around before putting my lips on hers. We both smile and I can feel people staring.
"Oh my God I thought I lost you." Soon I am crying and I don't even care. Our arms are still around each other and I feel at home.
"No matter what, you'd never lose me. Ever." She looks around and shakes her head.
I looked at all the people giving us weird looks and thought of all the trouble I will get in for skipping school, let alone the first day, but with her I don't care. "Let's get outta here."
And that's how the first day of forever started.
