"Piss off! Don't touch me." I shoved him away from him as I tried to stand up and run for the door. Axel had grabbed my waist and pulled me back against his chest. I struggled as much as I felt like it. I could run but it would be a waste. I just didn't want to be in this room right now.
"So it is you Kira. I didn't think I would ever see you again. Or at least not like this. And if that is really you then, this so called Alex must be Alexis. You really thought you could fool me didn't you? I knew when they had said that all the members were women, it got me thinking about the two of you. That is why I had to see you guys first."
I huffed against Axel's chest as he dropped me on the floor. I fell as I could see Remy gasp running over to me with her doll in her hand. She asked me if I was ok as I nodded. Amy as well as the others looked back at me.
"Dad, you know these girls?" Axel asked confused.
"I know Kira and Alexis. They are members of the Sliver Moon clan. Our brothers in Sacramento. Kira is Jeremy's daughter, the leader of the Silver Moon clan." He answered his son.
Axel looked down at me as I rolled my eyes. "You mean 'were'. I recall leaving that clan and the bastards in it behind seven months ago."
"She is his missing daughter? If she belongs to a clan, why is she raiding?" Axel looked at me confused. I sighed as I stood up rubbing my sore bum as I once again looked at their leader with a small glare.
"So what do you want with us, Cornelius?"
The Black Moon clan leader looked at me as he turned around to sit back into his chair bring his hand to his chin thinking. He looked at the rest of us in contemplation. Since he knew who we were being killed was long gone, but there were others things that would be twice as worse than death when it came to asses like Cornelius and his clan. Men really were the worst. Especially his nephew that is why I did something about it that day. A sigh came from the tall study man as everyone looked at him.
"Every well. For the theft of my rice, the entire group will be staying in this clan from this point forward." His decision was announced to the room. Whispers went around the room to other wolves of his clan in confusion. Me as well as the rest of my pack looked wide eyed at the crazy leader smiling at his choice. Was he insane? Did he really think that I would actually stay in this ridiculous place anymore that I had to?
"You're crazy. You might as well just kill me cause there will be hell to pay if you really think I'm agreeing to that." I shouted as I stood up and pointed my index finger at the man that sat in the chair with a slump and grin.
"Kill you?" He asked. "You know I can't do that to you. Besides even if I could, do you really think that the rest of your pack feels the same way?"
Alexis stood up banging her fist against her chest. "I would die for Kira!"
Remy did the same as Alexis. "I would die for Kira!" Her small voice echoed loudly in an ear pinching squeal.
Terra and Morra stood slamming their hands in over their heart and nodded telling the others that they thought the same. Before I knew it. All of my pack claimed they would give their lives for me. As much as I should be happy, the thought froze my heart. I didn't want them doing the same as her. No. Not another one will die on my behalf.
"Fine. All of you are sentence-" Cornelius started looking in my direction as he could see the panic in my eyes.
"No. We will stay." I interrupted. I put my head down as I could feel my pack's gaze on me. I know the choice I made wasn't what most of them would agree to. But this was a selfish request to me. Alexis and Amy sighed. They knew how I felt. They knew the pain that I had in the first three months of her loss. I will not put that on those especially younger than me.
"Good choice. Now Emily?"
A small maid popped her head up from the side of the room. She wore normal clothes, which was weird. When you came in, most of the maids were wearing uniforms. Not those weird French maid outfits, just outfits that all looked the same. A plain white button up shirt and a pen leg shirt that ended at the middle of their thighs. It looked formal, but when you see at least twenty girls wearing them at the same time, you can figure it was not a fashion that everyone was into. She raced across the room quite as she fell to her knees kneeling in front of her leader keeping her head down.
"I want you to find all of these girls a room. Make sure they all have what they need and report back to me when you are finished." He looked at each of us. "You will all be given jobs to do as well as go back to school. You all have missed a few months of it. Luckily most of the time lost was during the summer. Well off with the lot of you."
It was that easy for him to have us here. It wasn't that the space of this clan was not big enough to house us. However, if it weren't for the fact that I was here then perhaps these girls really would have been just put to death. The girls looked to me as I nodded. As much as I hated to say it, school did sound like a good place for most of these girls. Remy could use a lot of schooling being her age. All of them got up as we started to walk to the door.
"Kira..." Cornelius called. "You stay right where you are."
I looked back at the man with confusion as the rest of the girls stopped following the maid and looked back at me. I turned back to each one of them and nodded reassuring them that my safety was not in danger. Everyone walked out of the room except Alexis. The silence and the look I gave her was enough for her to realize that it was fine to leave me behind. I smiled, giving her a sign that I would let her know later. She grinned and walked out of the room as the door closed back behind her. I watched the closed door as I sighed heavily looking back at the leader sitting in the chair staring back at me.
I walked back to where I had sat as I stood there watching everyone's actions. Axel stared at his father then back at me then back to his father as he watched our stare down. "Dad, what is up with you? You are treating these raiders like family. Not to mention this girl? She is no longer a member of their clan so why are we not treating her as the rouge she is?"
"Hush Axel. All I said was that the for theft of my rice they would remain here in these walls. I don't believe I said anything about the six men that you killed." Cornelius answered not taking his eyes off mine.
I laughed lightly. "Me? Killed six of your men. I think you need to realize that it was only five and I didn't not touch anyone." As much as it looked like I had confidence inside me. I was scared and confused. It was only five right? Where did the last one pop in there? Then it hit me. That night. The one night seven months ago. He was adding him. That was not a man, it was scum. And I was doing the world a service getting rid of it.
"You are the leader of that pack I assume. So I hold you accountable for the lived they took. And the last man, was for that night seven months ago. Or did you forget killing my nephew?"
"What!" A shout from Axel's mouth exploded. "She killed Derrick?"
Derrick. What a perfect name for a dead man. That despicable being. That disgusting black haired grey eyed man. If a man is what you would call him. If it wasn't for him, there would be no reason for my resentment again this clan. But nothing about that can change now.
"Would you like to explain? Or shall I tell my son about how the girl in front of him killed his only cousin." I motioned my head to the side telling him I could care less. I could care less. It's not like I did anything worth being mad about. He got what he deserved, this Derrick. "Axel, remember when I told you that time that I was going over to the Silver Moon clan for the treaty update?" Cornelius asked getting his son's attention that was keen on me. The hatred left his eyes as he looked at his leader while nodding his head.
"Yeah, you said you were taking Derrick since I was on a trip with mom at the time right?"
"Yes, that one. Well you see I did take Derrick with me on that trip. Everything had gone according to plan like a usual treaty update, that was until Derrick met little Kira here."
I snorted. Little. Give me five minutes with that old bastard and we will see who is little.
"As you saw before, Kira is a little different from other wolves. She was able to deny my voice. She was able to refuse to answer anything I said. She is a special wolf that are almost gone. Kira is a female alpha. A rare sight indeed but with her mother's bloodline the possibility for a son was very slim. Being what she is, Kira is a she wolf of she wolves. She has the strength of any alpha and can refuse anything she is told to do. Even when she does not want to, she atomically attracts males to her. This is what happened to Derrick. He found himself very attracted to her, but-"
"But I refused him in front of everyone." I interrupted. I wanted them to know that I could do it to him that I could do it to anyone. That I was not just a small little girl as he says that is attracted to strong to be alphas that can't keep their pants on.
"I'm sorry did you want to start telling the story now?" Axel's father put his hand out as if to offer me the option of telling about that day. I moved my head to the side not answering him. He merely smiled as he turned back to his son.
"Yes. Kira refused Derrick in front of me as well as her father and most of her clan. Of course this made him very embarrassed and he said nothing to her for a long while. Since it was getting dark, Jeremy offered us to stay the night and we accepted it. That night for the treaty we celebrated and held a party for the members that went with me and Jeremy's clan. That night Derrick tried to advance to Kira again, but we couldn't see much of it-"
"Cause he tried to drag me out in the hallway where no one was to do the one thing that I thought that not even the Black Moon clan would snoop to."
Axel seemed confused as he looked at me eager to know more and I gave it to him.
"He tried to force mark me!" By now my rage was beyond mad. Reliving the moments of having the bastard's smirk on his face scared my brain. " He pinned me to the wall and tried to bite me to mark me as his. Unfortunately she saw it."
"She?" Axel looked to Cornelius for answers to my explanation.
"You see." Cornelius stood up and walked between us without looking at either of us. "Kira had a sister. A younger sister by the name of Kisa. She wasn't an alpha like Kira but she was still the daughter of Jeremy like Kira is. She attacked Derrick that night."
Anger grew up in my veins as he tried to blame Kisa like she was the one that started it. How dare he, he wasn't there. He didn't see what happened. "Attacked?" I screamed loudly enough for my own voice to croak. "She was trying to pry that insane asshole off of me. He would have marked me if she didn't try to get him off. But you don't see it as that way do you? You disgusting accusations claimed that she was disregarding the treaty because she supposedly didn't like it and attacked him for that reason. You didn't think to see what really happened because you didn't care. Just because Derrick could be a future alpha you blamed Kisa for what was really your damn nephew's fault. But you didn't stop there. You thought she was insane. You thought she should be punished for helping me. Since your horrible clan were the host we wanted to make you feel at ease and that what she did was not to disrupt the treaty. You had her killed. Because she was a woman, her word didn't matter. I watched my sister die that next day. I watched your pitiful nephew smile as she died that day. She didn't do anything but try and protect me and you killed her!"
Small tears were falling out of my eyes as I pointed my finger to the man standing in my view. That's right he killed her. If it weren't for the fact that his damn nephew could have been an alpha, they would have actually looked into what really happened. But because he was an alpha to be they assumed that he would never try and do what he did. I knew otherwise. The Black Moon clan are nothing but a bunch of liars and manipulators. I could see it clear as day in Derrick. I can see it clear as day in Cornelius, and I can see it happening now in Axel. All men from this clan think of nothing but they own male agenda.
"But I don't understand, then how did she kill him?" Axel asked quietly.
A smile crept on my lips as I looked back his father to him. He looked back with a small glare after seeing my smile. I didn't take my eyes off of Axel as I could hear his pack leader sigh moving back to his chair. The tension was getting bigger between the blue eyed boy and me. The room was silent even with about twenty people inside of it. It was like they were all holding their breath. The information about what really happened to Derrick must have not been explained to them. I was going to change that. I bet they thought that he died in a humane manner. Ha. As if.
"Now that is a story that I would love to tell." I replied.
"Kira." Cornelius eased my name out of his lips as if to warn me. I smirked maybe he should try that again. I didn't hear the voice he was trying to use against me again. Even when his old age, you'd think he would have learned over the years, other alphas can't be controlled or killed without deep reason. He put himself in a tight spot bringing me here. He should have realized that when it was me, he should have let me go. Oh well, now his son as well as his council will hear how one of their own was put to death by MY hands.
"Well you see Axel. That night your clan decided to stay again that night to try and make it seem like their cared for the lost of my sister, I confronted your cousin. I told him how foolish it was to deny him. That automatically caught his attention and like a moron he believed me. I asked him if he really wanted to make me his, to mark me as his own. He little wolf ears perked with happiness to hear I was letting him have me. For a real smart wolf, they would try and find the logic of something that denied them the first time to all the sudden change their minds. But you cousin didn't." A chuckle came out of my mouth. I could see a small bit of anger grow in his face. I didn't care to look at the leader of the Black Moon clan. He was not important right now. "So that night I took him to my room and of course like a fool he laid out on my bed thinking he was going to have some fun, but he didn't know that the fun was all mine that night. I told him to close his eyes and he would see the best a rare female alpha could give him. He believed me again and when he opened his eyes he found himself choking with a rope around his neck. The same rope that killed my sister. I took it and used it to show him the irony behind it. I watched your cousin die as I strangled his full of life body, just like my sisters. And I watched that full of life body go limb...just like my sisters. I stringed your cousin Derrick till there was no life left and smiled as he died just like he did to my sister."
