On The Water

The sun sets in the west,

Being here makes this day the best,

Over the glistening glass that is the water,

So peaceful when at rest,

Glowing orange sky over the horizon,

Heat lightning in the distance,

Sitting here on the dock,

Staring into the distance,

Life is so calm on the water,

Fish fluttering down below,

Seaweed within sight,

Low tide approaching,

Light breeze over the water,

The sun sets in he west,

Being here makes this day the best.
