I pressed the pedal, ever so lightly. The car shot forward, I pressed down on the brake, and the car came to a fast stop. I lifted my foot and pressed down on the pedal, and the car went forward. Esme turned her torso to look at me as Renesmee showed her dimples and teeth in a smile. "Renesmee... She does prefer... blood.. But we challenged her to try human food, and she took that challenge. I'm so proud of her, Bella. Oh, so very proud." I smiled. "I'm proud, too. She's growing up so fast!" "A bit too fast!" Me and Esme laughed for a minute, but then Carlisle came over to us.
