A/N: In this chapter, we're gonna learn about the types of kindred (vampires) that there are in this story.

The next couple of days I stayed home, taking my doctor's advice. I hadn't been talking to the others for about 3 days. It was already Friday and I was bored out of my mind, staying home all this time, doing nothing. I tried to make the best out of it and tried to study but my mind couldn't focus on the words written on paper and my head would start hurting every now and then. I kept on taking the meds Baekhyun prescribed me and they seemed to calm me down which was a good sign.
Ever since I had went to the hospital, the same nightmare kept on waking me up in the middle of the night with my pillow soaked in tears. What was happening to me? All I could think about was my parents' accident and how I was the only one who survived. I should have been dead, with them. Why did this happen to me now? Why did I remember it so sudden? I kept on asking myself these kinds of questions for the past few days.
A buzz from my phone pulled me out from my thoughts and I jumped a little on the bed, startled at the sudden sound. I extended my hand to the nightstand, beside my bed and grabbed my phone, unlocking the screen to read the text message.
Unnie:
'We are on our way to your house. You better be there.'
I rolled my eyes and threw the phone away somewhere on the mattress, getting up to sit on the edge of the bed. Dizziness took over my head and the room started spinning. I put my hands over my eyes and rubbed them slowly, taking in a deep breath and stood up. I went downstairs to clean up a bit since they decided to pay me an unexpected visit.
In about a half an hour, I heard the door bell ring and went to greet them, inviting them in.
"Hi. How are you feeling?" Aotaki asked as she leaned in to give me a hug.
"Um.. fine I guess." I mumbled.
"Hi, love. Missed me?" Taehyung asked as he gave me a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. I stood there with wide eyes, witnessing the caring side of him. Again. Which was nice. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't miss him a bit.
"Hey, Rei. We missed you at school." Jimin said, giving me a quick hug.
"Hi, bestie, why didn't you text me? You must've been bored to death." Kookie said, hugging me and rocking me side to side.
After we settled in the living room, I went to the kitchen to grab some snacks and sodas and placed them on the coffee table in front of them. Jimin was sitting in the armchair as Aotaki, Kookie and Taehyung took the couch. And I sat down next to Taehyung's right side on the couch's armrest.
"So, what are you all doing here?" I asked after a few minutes of silence as they were all looking at me.
"We wanted to see how you're doing since you were ignoring us again. I thought we were getting along." Aotaki said, pouting.
"Thank you for worrying but, actually, I'm not feeling very well. I can't get any sleep because of my nightmares." I told them, rubbing my eyes again.
"You know, I can help you with that." Taehyung said, winking at me as he placed his hand on my thigh and rubbed it slowly up and down. I wanted him to help me so badly but I didn't want the others to know about what we did, so I just stayed silent and looked down at my lap.
"It's okay. We know already. Tae told us." Jimin said. I looked at them with wide eyes and landed my gaze on Taehyung who was smirking proudly.
"That's why we're here. Now that you and Tae are mated and sealed the deal by drinking his blood, that makes you his Ghoul. You need his blood to survive and he needs yours as well." Aotaki added.
"We're actually here to teach you about some stuff." Kookie said and let out a sigh.
They each took turns in explaining how the kindred world worked. I still couldn't believe that he dragged me into his crazy world. They told me that there were 7 clans out there and each of them had distinctive powers that help them go unnoticed in the world.
Jimin introduced himself as being a Tremere. His main speciality was Blood Magic followed by the power of Domination, which meant that he can bend their minds to his will without the victim noticing.
Jungkook followed after his hyung and explained that he was a Brujah. His clan's power consisted in speed and strength, which was kinda obvious since his body was so buff and toned. Jimin jumped in to tease him, saying that his clan was famous for ignoring the traditions of his clan and resulted in him being kicked out of his hometown.
When it was Taehyung's turn, he stood quiet and played with the hem of his shirt while humming a melody. It was not the first time he's done that so I ignored him.
"I'll tell you. Taehyung here is a Malkavian. He loves to play with people's minds since his favourite discipline is Dementation. His clan is clinically insane but not to the point where he's not able to socialise and think straight. He has mixt personalities, meaning one minute he's a devil and the next a puppy. And just a heads up, because you drank his blood, his madness can be transferred into your brain." She said, looking at him and he kept his head low as if he was somehow embarrassed all of the sudden.
"You have to be kidding me." I said with a straight face. I couldn't go insane because of his stupid actions. I glared at him but he didn't seem to notice me. "I think I need to go lie down a bit. Leave or stay, whatever. You already do whatever the hell you want in my house." I said, getting up from the couch and made my way upstairs.
I threw myself on the bed and looked up at the ceiling, trying to process what I've been told. My biggest fear would come true sooner or later because of Taehyung. He was gonna throw me in a mental institute. I put my hand over my eyes and took a deep breath. I heard the door open but I didn't budge. I didn't care who it was and what they wanted. I just wanted to sleep but couldn't because I felt my brain pounding in my head even though I just took the painkillers.
I felt the mattress sink under the extra weight and took another deep breath as I moved my hand a little to see who it was.
"What do you want, Taeyhung?" I asked a bit colder than it was meant to be.
"I'm sorry." He said in a low voice, playing with his hands at the end of the bed, avoiding to look at me. Well this was new. Since when is he sorry?
"Excuse me? I think I must be hearing voices from the madness you gave me." I started harshly, lifting myself up from the bed and leant my back against the headboard. I looked at him as he opened his mouth to speak again but no words came out and he closed it back. "What? Did the cat got your tongue? Or... I'm sorry, you must have been switching your personalities." All the pent up anger was finally letting itself out. I had no control over my mouth. My head was hurting so bad and tears started to spill out of my eyes.
"I said I was sorry. I shouldn't have fed you my blood. But you have to understand, ever since I saw you that first day in the bus station I knew you were the one." He said, slowly lifting his head to look me in the eyes. He was different. He looked so innocent and shy. I couldn't believe the scene going on before my eyes. I felt bad about yelling at him, seeing how small he looked right now. I exhaled loudly and got up and sat next to him on the bed.
"No. It's fine. I'm sorry I raised my voice. But you have to understand that this isn't easy for me. I just found out that I'm bound to spend my life next to someone I met a week ago. And my brain hurts like hell and the meds aren't helping me at all and..." I began sobbing loudly, placing my head between my hands. He put his hand on my back and started rubbing it up and down to comfort me.
I leaned my head on his shoulder and let my sobs fill the room. As I started to calm down, he turned his head toward me and I felt his gaze on my lips. I raised my head a little and our lips were only inches apart. I could feel his hot breath against my skin. That fuzzy feeling in my stomach ordered me to go further and kiss him, to feel his lips on mine. He cupped my cheek with his right hand and pulled me closer to him until our lips met and it felt electrifying. Unlike the other times, this kiss was sweet and slow, his little actions made it more special because he was careful not to hurt me even more than I already was.
I climbed in his lap and he was so cute, blushing below me. Where was this personality when we met? He could have won me over so quickly, instead of being cocky and mean. I looked in his eyes and he places his arms around my waist as mine wrapped around his neck. I leaned in and started kissing his neck, trailing butterfly kisses up to his ear and whispered, "Remember when you claimed me yours?" He nodded slightly, making my lips brush against his ear and he shivered below me. "I need you to that again."
I pulled away and I bit my lip, anxious to find out his answer. I saw his eyes sparkle and a smirk appeared on his face as he placed me on the bed and bit his wrist. In a couple of seconds, blood appeared on it and I licked my lips, eager to taste it. He chuckled and hovered over me, putting his hand in front of my mouth as he whispered in my ear, "How bad do you want it?" I looked at him with wide eyes, realizing that the sweet and caring guy was now gone.
"Please, I need it. My head hurts like hell and I need something to take my mind off stuff." I begged him, my voice shaky and low. He tilted his head and got off me. "W-where are y-you going?" I stuttered.
"I can't feed you like that. I need some too, baby." He said as he motioned me to follow him to the couch in my room. He sat down, laying one leg on the cushions, the other resting on the floor while his back was leaned against the wall and he patted the seat between his legs. "Come on. I thought you said you wanted it."
I slowly walked over to him and placed myself between his legs with my back against his chest. He pushed my hair to the side to have access to my neck as he put his wrist against my lips and I grabbed it with both of my hands to keep him still. I tasted the sweet blood dripping from the two small holes where he pierced the skin while he brushed his lips against my neck, up and down, humming a song until he found the perfect place to sink his fangs, into my sweet spot and I couldn't help but let out a high pitched whimper at the new feeling. He drank with so much thirst that I felt like he was draining me out. The feeling was so overwhelming as I kept on drinking his red fluid that I couldn't feel anything but pure pleasure. I was panting so hard from the lack of air but I couldn't bring myself to let go of him until he pulled his hand forcefully out of my grip. His fangs were still deep in my neck and I placed my hand on his thigh and squeezed it softly to get his attention. He slowly pulled out, brushing his tongue over the open wounds and kissed it softly afterward.
"All better now?" His voice was so deep and husky as he whispered in my ear. I slightly nodded, not being able to form words at the moment. My head was so light and my thoughts were all dismissed from my mind. All I could do was smile for no reason.
"T-thank y-you, Tae." I muttered almost inaudibly but he seemed to have heard it as he kissed my head and place his arms around me, hugging me tight and resting his head against mine.
"Anytime, princess. I'm here." Is the last thing I heard before I fell into a deep sleep.
