Chapter 1................Her
The way her hair glowed in the moonlight gave her a divine look. She was so supernaturally beautiful. Astral thought as he stared at her holding an ancient Ruby necklace. She had told him more than countless times that it was passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years. Astral could tell that there was something "unearthly" about her. He hadn't the faintest idea what it was. Maybe tonight he would finall find out?
"Leah? What are we doing all the way out here at 2:30 in he morning?" Astral managed to speak to Leah through his foggy thoughts containing her and only her.
"Be patient love." she replied directly. Astral loved her British accent. She had come from Essex, England almost 2 years ago, they had been best friends and inseperable or about a year in a half now.
Astral and Leah were in the middle of nowhere on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The moon was brighter than ever and the stars were extremely bright. He never seen anything so supernaturaly amazing. Leah had her fraile hands clasped around the Ruby necklace. It began to glow and shine a direct photon to an orb in the sky. It was burning brighter and brighter with each passing second. Astral felto the ground, his body couldn't muscle the power and energy erupting from Leah. He tried to call for her but his voice failed to verbalize his words. His body finally caved in and he passed out.
I awoke the next morning to the sound of brids chirping and a ray of warm sunlight on my face. My mind wondered back to the dream that i had been having for about 3 weeks now. What did it mean? Who the hell is that girl and why do i keep dreaming of her? "Ash! Get up! " My aunt Mel. yelled through the walls. "Damn" i cursed rolling out of bed. I glanced at the clock "6:30" it read. Back to my previous thoughts, Why the same dream? I thought as i grabbed clothes and heading to the bathroom. 10 minutes later i emerge ready for the hell of a new school. Snatching a bag an slinging it on his back he jogged down the stairs, into the kitchen.
"Later Mel.!" I said snathcing a piece of toast and planting a goodbye kiss on her forehead. I bursted through the door and hopped on my street bike finishi hte toast and putting n my helmet. My aunt Mel. stood in hte doorway watching me nervously as i zipped out of the driveway, down the street and around the corner scared i migh wreck.
After about 10 minutes of driving i finally pull into the school parking lot. Everyone stared. I felt awkward and out-of-plac so i lingered on my street bike for a while. It wan't until i finally removed my tinted helmet, it happened. From across campus, our eyes met. Its her. Really her. Little volts of energy are coursing through my veines ."Leah..." I whispered to myself in disbelief. I hopped off my street bike and began to walk towards her. She gripped a girls arm and yaked her away into the building. "Wait!" I yelled after her picking up pace and following in her tracks trying catch up with her.
I rounded the corner into an empty hallway. There were two other empty hallways feeding into the present one. I had lost her. I cursed and harshly palmed a locker.
