As I walked into school, I met up with my bestfriend, Brandon. We walked to class together and I noticed something was off. Nobody was in the usual gloomy Monday morning mood. Instead, they were...smiling. Smiling? Yeah, smiling.
"Brandon, what's going on?" I swept the classroom with my eyes suspiciously. Brandon just shrugged.
"There's a new kid," He simply stated. So much for that.
"And everybody is excited about the new kid because...?" He shrugged again.
"Cause the new kid is Ross Lynch. You know, the one in like, the world famous band?" He made a goofy face. I laughed and took my seat. Then some kid I had never seen before sat down on the other side of me.
"Um, hi, I'm Emily." I waved to catch his attention. He snapped gis head to look at me. His blond hair fell into his eyes and he did the weird 'move the head so the hair moves' move. I tried not to giggle.
"Oh, um hi, I'm, um, Ross Lynch."
