Derek
I pull the two people I never wanted to see into a room that no one can go which is my room.
"What the Fuck are you two doing here" I ask slightly raising but no one can hear us
"We wanted to pay our respects he was also like a father to me" The guy says
"Then why did she come" I ask with an attitude
"She's my plus one and she has a name" He then kisses her right in front of me
I start to get angry by the second so I just walk out and kick them out of my room.
"Just stay out of my way" I turn to them
"Wait us three need to sort things out" the girl says
"No we don't" I respond and turning back to walk to other people even though I wanted to be left alone
As I walk around basically everyone was saying things like I'm sorry for your lost, your father was a great man, are you ok?
I was so tired so I just went into my room and I started to write music.
I started rapping a verse for a while then I felt eyes burning through my skin, I turn to see Skylar standing in the door frame.
"How long were you standing there?" I ask
"Enough know that you need to do something with that talent" she says and I smile because the only people who told me that was my ex best friend and my ex girlfriend.
"Are you ok? Not asking about your father you just seem like something else is bothering you" she asks now finally fully in my room with the door closed
"I'm fine" I saying lyingly
"Yea nice try I know if someone is lying it runs in my family now tell momma what's wrong" she says and I laugh
"Fine my ex girlfriend and ex best friend are here and I guess they are official now because they kissed right in front of me and it's only been 4 days since we broke up" I vent my problem to her
She hugs me and whispers in my ear
" it's fine I'm here now" I smile and I forget everything around me
I pull from her and I kiss her but this one even more passionate than the others we had. There was love.
We both pull away from the kiss because my mother called me
Before I left the room I turn and said Happy Birthday and asked her on a date she smiled really big and nodded. With that I left my room leaving her in my room.
Skylar
As I walk out of Derek's room and bump into someone
"Oh sorry" I apologize and notice a gorgeous girl trying to get her balance back
"It's fine" she gives me a fake smile and I just walk away until I feel someone grab my arm
"Hey and stay away from Derek or else" she gives me a fake smile again and I get out of her grasp
Oh hell nah who does this girl think she she is.
"First I don't know who the fuck you are and you can't tell what to do because I will break you bitch" I snap at her
She looks at me in shock what I said and I walk away from her.
"Mom I'm ready to go so I'm going home with Josh and Dylan
"Ok drive safe" she says back
I text Derek that I am leaving and I quickly get a respond back
{Derek} take me with you please
{Me} ok I'll ask Josh
{Derek} thank you I owe you
I ask Josh and he said yes
As I was texting Derek someone bumps into me "dang is today bump into Skylar day or something." I say out loud
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to lil ma" this time it is a boy around Derek's age with tattoos
"It's fine" I say to him
"Hey can I get you number even if I don't know you" he ask scratching his head, he doesn't like a bad guy so we exchange numbers
"By the way my Name is Nate but you can call me skate" I look in shock because he is Derek's ex best friend and now he has my number damn why me
"Ok well I will see you sometime" I tell him
I text Derek to come to Josh's car as I walk to his car once again.
We all get into the car and drive over to my house.
~At My House~
I walk into my room to put on something comfortable. I throw on a sports bra, Nike pros, huf socks and a biggish sweater so the twins don't but me about putting because Derek is here.
I walk downstairs and see the twins playing video games while Derek is on Twitter. I sit down in an empty spot next to Derek and lay my head on his shoulder.
"Aww I liked the dress better on but this is fine because I can still see your cute ass" he whispers so the twins can't hear and I blush like I just won a prize.
"That's not fair I only have one good arm Dylan complains because Josh beat him at 2k15
"Aye don't hate the player hate the game" he says back and we laugh except for Dylan.
"Ok now let's watch a movie" I say and they all agree
We ended up choosing Mall Cop 2, when the movie ended Dylan and Josh were knocked out so it was just Derek and I
" Did you ask my dad before asking me out?" I ask him
"yes I did but I already know he's going to have one of his men watching over us" he responds back and kisses my forehead
"I have to tell you something" I tell him
"What is it" he is now staring at me wondering what I told him
"Well I kinda bumped into this girl and she threatened me to stay away from you but I didn't let her get away with saying that so I went off on her and I bumped into you ex best friend and he was flirting with me but he asked me for my number before he said who he was.
Derek looks at me in shock for a second. "What did the girl look like and ignore him at all cause" he tells me
"She was around my height but she had freckles, brown hair, tan and she looked about 16." I tell him and his hands go over his face.
"Who is she" I ask him
"My ex girlfriend" he tells me and all I say is oh
There was a quick silence until we heard the door open, we both fake sleep for a quick second then I fake wake up seeing that it was my parents.
"Hey momma, hey daddy" I say fluttering my eyes open
"Honey go to your room and sleep" my mom tells me and I agree as I walk up stairs I see my mom waking up Derek, and the twins telling Derek to sleep in the guest bed room which is next to mine and the twins to go into their own rooms which is down the hall.
I walk into my room and Seconds later I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in" I yell and in comes Derek
" I just wanted to say good night princess" he tells me then I get up and give him a quick peck before he closes my door and leaves.
I make my way to my bed then I get a message notification
{Unknown} I told you to stay away and now I'm going to make you life a living hell ;)
{Me} Bitch come through I'll show what's up
I respond back and She doesn't text back.
How did she even get my number? As I was thinking I got another text notification but this time it was Skate
{Skate} hey it's skate I was wondering if you wanted to hang tomorrow or the day after because I'm leaving to Cali in 3 days
{Me} I don't think that idea
{Skate} well ok just text me tomorrow if you change your mind
I just left him on read and I fell fast asleep after that
