OH GOD!
I tried to act as if I didn't hear or see anything, I walked over and turn on the nightlight by Cecilia bed

I don't want to scream or seem suspicious, i don't want whoever is here to jump at me or even worse the kids
I waited and waited by the bed not wanting to leave them
"Mommy?"
"Yes" I said quickly
Fuck I hope he didn't notice
"I'm scared can I sleep with you and Daddy?"
"Of course" I said and went and pick up Cecilia
"What was that Lucas" I said, hearing a mutter
"I didn't say anything mommy"
I grab his hand and... Dick that shit to Joe room
I turn on the light and closed the door and lock it
"Joe!" I screamed and Cecilia twitches in my arms
Joe's face was stuffed in my pillow but when I called him his head snapped over to me
"Fuck, shit, always got to yell put my kids on the bed and go to sleep" he says roughly from the lack of sleep
I ran up the two step leading us up to the bed I place the kids on the bed and jumped on Joe
Who growled at me
"The kids are here, contain yourself, let's go to the living room and I'll fuck you ther-"
"Joe! someone in the kids room!" I said, ignoring his wonderful offer
Joe shoved me aside and hopped off the bed he reached under the bed and he took out.....
"AK 47!! Ohh papi you better make sure the kids don't find it you mother-"
Joe walked over to me and smash his lips to mine, after a couple of moments he bit my bottom lip enough to drew blood and shut me up
He jerked his head to Lucas and Cecilia
I nodded my head the message clear
protect the kids!!
He gave me a final kiss and speed walked out the room
I ran around the room searching for a gun i can use (he have to have more guns in here somewhere), i can see from the corner of my eyes Lucas lifting his head up lazily then went limp not caring of what i was doing, i searched the drawers and found a gun, its one of those guns the cops uses, what was it, a glock?
I ran up the two steps and guard my kids who was dead to the world, i pulled the safety off and aimed at the door when i saw the handle move
My heart beating in my chest as the door opened
"Its me" Joe says putting his hands in the air when he saw me pointing a gun at him
"Oh god Joe! did you find him" i said lowering the gun and checking to see if the kids didn't wake up
"No one was there mama" he growls and looks over to the clock on the nightstand
"Babe its fucking 3 in the morning, you were probably imagining it" he growls and places the gun back under the bed not before putting safety on it, i took the gun i had and put the safety back on and placed it, in the drawer near me
"This is my gun" i said turning around and moving the kids a bit so we can lay down
"No its not" he grumbled
"Yes, it is, my gun, don't touch" i said laying down next to Cecilia
He didn't respond, i looked over and saw him sleeping, after a couple of hours passed i couldn't find any sleep, i laid there watching the door, protecting my family

The kids slept in our room for the next couple of days, i want them with me, did i really imagine what i heard? i probably did
"Joe! where are you!" i growled into the phone and sitting in the waiting room, they called for me already but i managed to stall them for a bit, Joe said he'd be here for the ultrasound but he's a hour late
"At work, why?" He asked confused
"Are you kidding me!" I yelled through the phone, how the hell did he forget!
"Don't fucking scream at me mama" he growled
"I'm not screaming, I'm yelling" i screamed, okay now i screaming, a couple of nurse's passed telling me to refrain from yelling as the doctor waited for me inside
"Call me when your not acting like a child-"
"Fuck you Joe" and with that i hanged up and stomped into the room
An hour later i left with a beating heart, my goodness, i walked over to the at the front desk and made another appointment in 4 weeks, i held the ultrasound pictures in my hand and smiled

I picked the kids up from school and drove to the house, as i passed the gate and drove the long road to the house, i though about checking the kids room, one more time before letting them sleep there again
I drove in the driveway and parked the kids jumped out and ran inside
"Hey! you better do your homework before playing" i said following after them
"Aww mommy, come on i just came back from work" Lucas whined
"Yea mommy, all that labor gets me sore" Cecilia whinned also
"No, do your work first then you can play"
They both huffed and walked in, i ignored Joe as he came from the hallway and kissed the kids on the head, telling then to do they're homework
"Mama" he says and walked toward me as i walked away and into the living room with him following behind, i smiled when i remember something
Just when he was close enough, i threw my hands on his shoulder and kneed him the balls, he went down on his knees with a groan
"Fucking bitch" he croaked out
"Oh, did you forget about our appointment where we were supposed to be fight in the living room" i said crouching down so i can get in his face, i stroked his hair away from his face, like the badass I am " i hope you didn't because you already forgot about the babies appointment " i said growling
"Fuck" he breathes trying to get up, i got up and walked into the kids room and checked on them, i guess they didn't expect me to come because they were playing on the Xbox with the volume low, i looked at them with a eyebrow raised, sneaky kids
They both looked at me sheepishly and a bit uneasy, thinking that they're are gonna be punished
"Baby, work first" they both nodded and pulled out there homework out there bags, i walked into the closet and examined it closely, it was a little walk in closet, i could have sworn i heard breathing i pushed clothes aside and shoved shoes away looking for something, i don't know what, i knocked on walls to see if there was any echos but heard none, when i was about to leave the closet, a bit happy that i didn't find anything, i noticed a part of the hardwood floor creak a bit, my eye brows pulled together and i walked back to the other end of the closet and walked towards the closet door

My breathing was heavy as i got on my knees and looked closely to see nothing, it was as normal as it can be, I ran out the closet out the room and towards the kitchen and grabbed a spoon and a fork, i notice Joe didn't move from his spot, he looked like he was in other world
I ignored him and ran back towards the room and into the closet, i let the kids play on they're game when i saw that they were done
I dropped to my knees again and i stabbed the fork and spoon into the edge and tried to pry it open, i been there for 15 minutes and it wouldn't open
Mmmm, maybe I'm just being dramatic, i blew a breath out and got up, closed the light and closed the closet door
Calm down sofia, I'm being way to paranoid, i kissed the kids head and told them they'd be sleeping in they're room tonight, i walked back over to the kitchen and threw the spoon and fork in the sink, i turned and saw Joe going through my purse roughly, he picked it up from the edges and dumped it on the sofa and scattered all my stuff all over the place
"Where is it?" He muttered
"What are you doing" i asked with a hand on my hip, Joe looked up at me then went to continue to looked through the stuff
"You uh went to the appointment right?"
"Yeah"
"Where's the pictures" he mumbles
"Oh these" i said pulling out the ultrasound pictures from my back pocket and held it in the air
he smirked got up from the sofa and speed walked over to me and tried to grab it
"Ah ah joe, why would i gave it to you when u didn't come"
His face fell
"But-but that's my picture "
"No its mine" i growled and stuffed it gently back into my pocket
"So help me God, if you don't give me that picture-"
"Or what" i growled
He glared at me and was about to say something when i interrupted him
"Here I'll give you a choice" i said
"What choice" he snarled
"You get to choose one, the flash drive or the ultrasound"
