It's finally Saturday, I've been so stressed out thanks to that prison they call school. I haven't had much fun in awhile, I hardly have any friends only one at church. I go downstairs in my pj's turning on the radio. I take out the food I'm going to cook for breakfast since I am an "independent woman" as my mom says.
I'm alone right now dancing to "Good For You" by Queen Sel. She slays my existence.
"I'm on my 14 carats, I'm 14 carat, Doing it up like Midas, mhm!" I sing with a spatula flipping the pancakes. Then I am interrupted by a knock at the door. I swear, this better be important. I open the door to see a cute boy my age.
"Uh, hi, I'm Justin, you must be Y/N." He says looking at my shorts with his hand out. I shake it reluctantly staring into his gorgeous brown eyes.
"How do you know my name?" I question. He chuckles this really cute laugh and explains how my mother invited him over so I can show him around the town. I invite him in laughing realizing he's the new neighbor.
