Dear diary,
I am 10 years old. But people treat me like a kid. I mean, I know mom is a dragon and all, but seriously, am I THAT hideous!?!? Ugh, maybe I'm just overreacting... you understand me, right, diary? Why am I asking..... of course you do! But why don't they let me out of the cave? I mean, all dragonets leave their families when they're ten! I know I'm half human, but I still follow dragon customs. Why won't mom let me???? I turned ten in November! I just got you, so I couldn't write all the wonders that happened that day.... maybe I could make up for it by sketching a picture of me?
That's me without my wings.... oops! Mom's calling me for dinner, she said it was my favorite, ROASTED DEER! Gotta go!
