Mia's POV
We went to the conference. The reports started asking questions.
" How much profit will it do?"
"Depends upon people as it is for them. For their comfort." Leo answered.
" is your relationship between the Lindcon Co. up to your satisfaction? " the blond asked James.
" Yes, they are very good people. I have any problems regarding this deal." And the questions went on. At last, Leo disclosed the news.
" I would like to announce to everyone that this is my fiancée Jasmine and we will be getting married this month." And the press went on asking questions. After the conference James congratulated them.
Leo came towards us. " I would like you to invite you and your family to the wedding personally," he told James.
" I will be delighted to come" they were talking while Jasmine signalled me to come besides.
" what's up?" I asked her.
" So I was thinking that...how would you like to be my maid of honour? " I was surprised.
" me!? ...I mean ah I love it too. " I started jumping up and down. Then I hugged her. Then she whispered in my ear" looks like we have an audience " I turned around and notice Leo and James looking at us with a confused look on their face. We came behind them. "So what with the shouting and jumping just now?"
I looked at Jasmine and we both giggled " sorry boys we don't kiss and tell" Jasmine answered.
" When did you kiss?" Leo asked.
" it's an expression dummy." Jasmine laughed.
After the meeting, we went to the hotel room. I was feeling exhausted I went to my room and took a long relaxing bubble bath. I came out of the bathroom and the was knocking on my door. "Coming " I answered. The knocking went on. God who is that.? I put on my silk robe and went to open the door.
"What?!" I opened the door irritated.
" Mia baby we gotta stop keep meeting like this. It's hard to control myself if you will be like that" James smirked.
" James as you were knocking on the door like a psychopath I didn't get the time to get dressed and open the door." I replied. " what do you want just tell me it's cold standing in this thing in the doorway?"
" well, I would like it if you invite me in. It's not suitable for a conversation in the doorway" he smiled.
" yeah come in. Make yourself comfortable. Let me get dressed I will be down in 10 minutes." I went got dressed in a black lace dress up to my knees and dried my hair. After a few minutes, I came down and sat across from him.
" say what you want?" I asked him.
" I want you to come with me this evening as you promised "
" Okay, but where? "
" it's will be just a normal dinner between two."
" Okay"
" So I will pick you up at 8 sounds okay? "
" cool" I smiled. He got up and kissed my hand. " looking forward to it" his devil handsome smile charmed me again. I was getting excited as the evening approached. I got ready early I was dressed in simple just applied eyeliner and lip balm and kept my hair open. He said it's just a normal dinner.
So if I go overdressed I will just embarrass myself. I had worn a simple blue one off-shoulder crop top and my demi jeans. It was exactly 8 o'clock now and there was a knock on the door. I knew it was him. I opened the door and I saw a handsome Greek God standing in front of me in a white suit. Oh god is looking breathtaking. He smiled at me," good evening love." I was looking at him with my mouth open.
"Baby I can see that you are checking me out but we might get late for dinner " he chucked. I got embarrassed. Yeah, I was checking him out. " Let's go baby" by saying this he took my hand. I was looking at him the whole time in the elevator.
He looked at me," tell me what are you thinking? "
" umm, your dressed so well and I am so simple. I should have worn something gorgeous " I looked down.
He cupped my face in his hands "Hey don't think that. I dressed well cause when I will be walking with this beautiful and hot as hell girl I wanna go my best. Your beautiful no matter what you wear. It's Me who have to think about what to wear before I go out with you" I laughed.
" your handsome James as you are" he looked at me.
" I know baby "
" cocky much? " I smirked at him.
" Always around you" he wrapped his arm around my waist and smiled. We went to the car. He left all restaurants behind.
" James you left all restaurant behind. Are we not going for dinner? " He looked at me and smiled, " Yes we are having dinner."
" then? Why did you leave all the restaurants behind?"
" have patience baby " he smiled.
We came to where the Eifel tower was located. Why did he bring me here? I thought we will go sightseeing tomorrow. He was smiling at me.
" you know I am confused right now. I thought we were going for dinner? "
" patience my love" he took the hand and we went in the elevator to go to the top of the Eifel tower. Oh god, it's so high. I was afraid of heights. We reached the top and what I saw after I just took my breath away.
On top of the Eifel tower, in the VIP seating section, there was a large table with delicious food on it. Men were standing and playing music. There was a carpet on the floor. The place was decorated with lights. He sat across from me at the table. The waiter poured the wine.
" So this was your ' just a normal dinner? I asked him.
" you like it?" He smiled at me.
" it's extravagant and beautiful. " I told him smiling.
"I am glad you like it"
" How did you arrange this?" I was impressed by him.
" well I pulled some strings and ringed some calls and it was easy."
" thank you for this grand romantic gesture."
" I am happy you like it " he came to my side and took my hand," Let's go see the whole city from the view area" oh no that means looking down from this height! I can't tell him I am afraid of heights. He will think I am a scaredy-cat.
" it's okay I can see it all from here." I gave him a forced smile.
" come on if you don't look from there I won't able to see the beauty "
" Okay. ..." I took his hand.
Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look down I repeated in my head. We reached the edge. He bent and looked down. I caught his arm. "Be careful "
" don't worry love it's okay come look." He wanted me to look down?! I peeked a little. " yeah beautiful now let's go back to our seat."
" come here " he pulled me in his arms and made me look at the view. I hugged his arm tightly. I agree the view was beautiful but if I look down anymore I will faint. I was practically digging my nails in his suit. We were standing on the edge.
"Whoa, baby your heart is beating crazy fast. Are you afraid of heights?"
"How did you know? " I looked at him.
" I can feel your heartbeat as your hugging my arm tight in your chest" I got embarrassed and he continued "and I can hear it as I am close enough" he put his arms around me moving away from the railing.
" Why didn't you tell me you were afraid of heights?"
" doesn't that sound lame?" I asked him.
" No, because everyone is afraid of something. Don't worry I am around you I will keep you safe " we went towards our seats.
" it looks like we don't know much about each other. Let's do the question game" he said.
" Okay. You go first. " I said taking the red wine to my lips.
" What is your favourite colour? "
" royal blue. And yours?"
" Green. Who are you most close with?"
"Hmm, it's Ethane, my brother. Who all are there in your family? "
" my mom, dad, grandmother. Do you have a boyfriend? "
" No. And you. Any girlfriends?"
" no. I don't date. Your favourite movie?"
" Okay...And my favourite movie is hot pursuit. "
"Hot pursuit? Hmm. Interesting. What are your hobbies? "
"I like to sing and hang out with Cloè and baking. And yours? "
" I like to work in my free time. At what age did you start racing? "
" I was 17 at that time. How many girlfriends did you have?"
" I don't date but occasionally one night stands were there. I don't do that anymore since you came."
"Is that true?" I raised an eyebrow.
" Yes, it's true."
" So are you a virgin? He asked me.
" whoa whoa whoa too personal. I am not answering anymore." I was blushing hard.
"I will take it as a yes" he smirked.
"You're incorrigible. " I said to him.
After the beautiful dinner, we reached the hotel. We were standing outside my room. " that was a really beautiful dinner. I loved it" I said to James smiling.
" So if I ask you on a date again you will say yes?"
" yeah," I smiled. I felt we were opening up to each other. He was rude like people say. I thought if we are something more?
" Really? "
" yeah," I giggled.
I was about to go in when he said, " wait..."
He pulled me close to himself "you make me feel different ...." and he kissed me lightly. This kiss was like the passion of a lover shouting out his love. I gave into him. I kissed him in return without even knowing it. He put his hands on his waist. The kiss turns to intence. His hands were in my hair and the other hand was grabbing my ass. I put my hands on his shoulders. We went with the flow. My body on fire. Somebody cleared their throat.
"Hmm. Hmmm..." we broke from the kiss. It was from Jasmine. Why do people always see us in such situations?
" I will..see you tomorrow" he bent down and kissed my hand then he went away.
"I am glad it was me not Leo otherwise he would have taken the whole hotel down." Jasmine laughed.
" you owe me an explanation," she said.
" I do. Come in I will tell you" We went inside.
