Katelyn's POV
After I took my shower, I did my night routine, and put on my pyjamas. Once I was comfortable on my clothes, I jumped onto my bed and almost immediately slept after a long day.
Hours later...
I woke up in the middle of the night to go get some water. My throats was getting pretty parched, and dry. I felt very groggy and drowsy. I got up from my bed and checked the time, it's 1 in the morning. I opened up my dorm door, and started walking across the hallway to a nearby water fountain. After a few sips, I was back to my senses a few minutes later.
While I was walking back to my empty dorm, I noticed the door to someone's room was open with a television light showing through the door. At first, I hesitated to walk up to it, yet my curiosity got the best of me so I decided to check it out. I slowly opened the door, being cautious not to make a peep or sound. I quickly looked through the door, and to my surprise,
it was Sam playing some sort of video game on the TV with a controller in one hand, and a drink in the other.
I started to giggle a little since he stared at the TV screen like a mindless zombie, while his roommate was sleeping soundly...I caught myself making noises and stopped giggling. I covered my mouth with one of my hands in a swift motion. When I took a closer look at him, I realized he had headphones on, and his roommate looked like a deep sleeper, so I slowly put my hands to my sides and sighed in relief.
I suddenly had this crazy idea that involved both his roommate and him to get surprised in an instant. I slowly closed the door behind me when I entered. I quietly tiptoed behind Sam's back, I started to blush a little since he was wearing a muscle T, but I decided to ignore that, and started to follow my original plan. I tapped on Sam's shoulder, and quickly hid in the side of bad that was almost up against a wall. I was surprised I could in between the small space, but focused on my plan instead of getting distracted.
Sam's POV
While I was on the last level to victory, something or someone poked at my shoulders...I paused my game and slowly turned to my right to see what it was, but instead, there was nothing there. I started to freak out, and I started to shake Geo violently so that he could wake up.
"What do you want Sam?", he said in a raspy and deep voice. His eyes were half open, so I decided to wake him up more by pouring a small amount of water on his face from my water bottle. He instantly stood from his bed and started yelling at me"AHHH!?! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!? NOW MY CLOTHES ARE WET!?!" , he said. "I think there's a ghost in our dorm..." "What? That's impossible, there are no such thing as ghosts..."
Katelyn's POV
I heard their little conversation, I almost laughed when Sam poured water on Geo's face, luckily, I covered my mouth just in time. Later on, I heard them talk about that ghosts weren't real, so I got a slipper that was close to my spot, grabbed it without anyone noticing, and made a sound far from me.
I heard them gasp, and heard their footsteps slowly walk back. I waited for the right time until they were close enough, and I jumped out from my hiding spot and sprinted forward a bit to scare then even more. When I popped out, I saw them hugging each other tightly and screaming their heads off. I started laughing hard on the ground like a psychopath. They exchanged looks and slowly realized they were hugging each other. They quickly let go of each other and both gave a death glare at me, "Why are you awake Katelyn? And WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU SC-" "Shhh...we don't want to wake other people, we'll get in trouble." I said while putting a finger on Geo's mouth.
"Well, why are you even here?", I looked up to Sam, who was crossing his arms while leaning against the wall. "Well, I heard your video game sounds from across the hallway, so I wanted to ask you to lower down your volume. Yet, I felt of being mischievous today, and scared you instead!" I gave him a smile with a chuckle to go with it. He quickly looked away, then he came closer to me.
I started to get nervous so I looked down, he was taking his time walking up to you. You can hear his footsteps getting closer, closer, and even closer to you... I looked up when I didn't hear his footsteps, and realized he was right in front of me. Our eyes met, as I gazed into his beautiful black eyes, he put his arms around my waist, and pulled me close.I felt a lump in my throat so I gulped in nervousness. He smirked, and pulled my body closer to his. I started to blush into a tomato, his body was so close to mine...
Then I felt even more hands around my hips instead, and started to tickle me like crazy...I laughed so hard, pleading at Geo and Sam to stop, but they wouldn't and tickled me till I couldn't breathe properly. They tickled me for 5 whole minutes...-___-...(not fun)
" Well I've had my fun, I'm going to head back to my dorm now. It was nice meeting you Geo! And Sam, thanks for having me here even if I wasn't invited at all. Goodbye!" I started to walk to the exit, when I felt a hand pulling me back by my wrist. I turned my head and saw Sam looking straight into my eyes. He looked happy, and looked like he wanted to ask me something...
"Can you stay? I don't have anybody to play games with...", I looked at him confused. "What are you talking about? Geo can play w-...", I stopped at my sentence when I notice Geo fast asleep again. Wow, he must really be a heavy sleeper..."Fine, but only for an hour, I'm still pretty tired", I yawned a bit from my tiredness. "Deal!" I looked at him, and he smiled brightly at me while also jumping up and down a bit from excitement. He really must be kid...
After an hour or so, I won at almost every game against him. He looked at me with a pout, and made a cute, yet sad face. I laughed at his childish ways, and started to talk in a cheerful way, "Don't worry, there's always tomorrow! You can still beat me!". He looked at me with a motivated look, yet he looked happy for me...did he going easy on me? Oh well...
"Okay, so now I get to decide your punishment",I smirked at him and looked into his eyes with an evil look. While we were playing, we made a bet to whoever lost, has to get a dare from the other person. "Dang it, I thought you forgot about it...Well, what's my punishment?" I put a hand under my chin, and an arm around my stomach, making a thinking position. I suddenly thought of a perfect one..."You okay with it involving a kiss?", I asked in a curious tone. "I don't care, just give it to me!" "Alright, alright" I sighed and looked at him. He was looking at me with eyes of anticipation.
"You have to kiss the girl you like and ask her out on a date in 5 days." His expression dropped into a surprised one, leaving me with a little confused yet caring look. "ONLY 5 DAYS?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that? Whatever, I accept your dare...you're on", he looked at me with a confident look.
I laughed a little at him by his sudden confidence. I checked the time, and saw that it was 3 am already. "Oh snap, I have to go now...sorry Sam, got to go now, bye!" I was taken aback from a sudden hug and stood frozen in place. "Thanks for hanging out with me", he whispered in my ear, it sends me shivers across my body. He broke the hug seconds later...
"Though can we just talk now? I'm not sleep yet..." I rolled my eyes, and nodded my head. "Fine, but only for a few minutes, I have to leave." We walked to his bed, latest down, and started having a good conversation. A minute later, I instantly slept in his bed after and exhausted day. His bed smelled just like him, and it was so warm from his lingering body heat.
Sam's POV
I was about to talk to her about the dare, when I noticed she was fast asleep. She was sleeping like a angel, a strand of hair was in front of her forehead, her lips looked so plump and full, and her body was snugged on top of the bed sheets. I decided not to wake her, so I moved her on a side of my bed, and tugged her in my blankets. After admiring her face for a minute, I snug myself into the bed and fall into a deep sleep...
Hours later...
Katelyn's POV
I woke up by the sun shining in my eyes. I still felt sleepy so I turned the other way to see what time it is, since it's the weekdays. Instead of checking the time, I see Sam's face centimetres away from mine. I instantly try to stand up from the bed, as memories from last night flooded my mind. Yet, Sam's arm was around my waist tightly...I start to tickle him, and he instantly looses his tight hug.
I take this opportunity to escape his embrace, and casually walks back to my dorm. Damn...I left my dorm unlocked the whole night. Hopefully no one stole anything...I look around to make sure if everything was moved, and luckily nothing was. I hop into the bathroom and take a fast shower.
After about 15 minutes, I make my way to my luggage, and wear a big black sweater with ripped jeans. I remember that since Geo and Sam are heavy sleepers, I decided to be the good person I am, and wake them up... I check my phone while in the hallway and realize....
Its 7:30am...
