"woah. This place is huge!" i whisper yelled to myself
"glad you like it. But im sure it gets better and better" mark said
We were currently in the main building to get our names registered.
My aunt had to go to work and my cousins and uncle had to go to god know's where.
Mark and i walked to the front desk and there sat a woman who is probably in her 40's, she had her hair in a tight bun and she wore a pencil skirt and a long sleeve shirt at the top.
Typical receptionist
"hello ma'am, were here to register our names" i said to her
Unfortunately she didn't here me .
"um miss..?" i called out atleast 5 times
"Lucinda!!" mark yelled
The lady jumped out of the seat and and landing a with a big thump on the floor.
"how do you know her name?" i asked completely ignoring the lady groaning in pain.
He hesitated for a while before he spoke up.
"she has a name tag" he said like its the most obvious thing in the world.
I gave him an intense gaze in hope that he'll tell me what i need to know.
But instead he looked away.
Hm he's acting weird. But i won't even bother pressuring him into telling me.
" oh mark im sorry i didnt see you" she said.
Wait she know's his name
Wait is he sleepibg with ger?
Is that how they know each other?
Ew thats fucked up.
"why are you looking at me like that?" mark asked
"how can you do that to her? Are you on drugs? Is someone bullying you into doing it? I want to help, i think you have a problem" i said putting a comforting hand on his shoulders
"what the hell are you blabbering about now? And what do you mean i have a problem ?" he asked
"dont act dumb mark i know youre doing the Mc'nasty with the receptionist " i said
"are you for real right now!!! How can you think that!!? Im a damn virgin for goodness sakes, she's also old enough to be my mum and thats gross!!" he said throwing his hands up in frustration
"um...sorry" i said smiling at him.
He just have me an 'are you serious' look and i decided to look back at the receptionist who was currently seated in her spot just looking at us with a sarcastic 'thanks for the help' look
"how do you know her" i asked
"i um...my dad um..he owns the school" he said cringing at the word dad.
"oh um...isnt that a good thing?" i said alittle confused
"are you fucking kidding me? Im only here coz my mum wanted me to, and thats it" he said
I dont even know what to say at this point.
Its always best to change the subject at this point right?

'ugh what do you want'
'hey im just trying to help'

'well too bad'
"what are you doing" he said laughing.

"um im okay. So um can i get my schedule and room keys please" i said to no one in particular
"oh um yes. Lucinda can we get our stuff?" he asked
"oh yeah. Chimmie jones? Thats you right" she asked unsure
"um yeah"
"okay here's your schedule and you will be in room 305B " she said giving me my stuff
"awesome thanks" i said getting my stuff
"and mark. Your schedule and room...305B?, that cant be right" she said
"wait what!!! Is that even legal? What if me and him never met, that would be more awkward than now, what if he's a psyco path? god this is why i didn't wanna stay here" i said face plaming myself
"calm down okay? I'll talk to my dad and see whats up" he said
"okay" i said taking deep breaths.

"why would you pair us up in the same room. Imagine if you roomed her with some other guy who would take advantage of rooming with her,What were you thinking? " he sid yelling at the man infront of him.
"excuse me son that is not how youre meant to talk to your dad" he said standing up
"you're my father, but not my dad, you lost that chance years ago" he said staring deep into his da- i mean father's eyes
"oookay um...what a lovely family meeting, ill just go now" i said standing up
"and who are you" i heard the deep grouchy voice of marks dad say behind me
"i'm um..chimmie" i said looking down
"well chimmie...what business do you have here" he asked
"well i was here with mark but if you want me to go-"
"mark why is she here" he interrupted me. Well rude much?
His dad had this sandy blonde hair tht was gelled back and his eyes were a faded blue. He looked well build enough for his age. He was wearing a black suit
"well she's my roomate " he said
"no she cant be. I will make arrangements right now" he said getting to his phone
"dont even dare. She's my roomate now and this will be the first and last time i will ever say this...thank you, she wouldn't have been my roomate without you" he said
"well natasha wont be happy about this" he said
Wait who's natasha?
"well she can go fuck herself" he said grabbing my hand and leading me to the door
"she's your girlfriend" he said
Wait. hold up...rewind...pause...and slap me...now play again.
What does he mean girlfriend. I thought that chick from the mall back home was his girlfriend.
Well yeah they broke up but how did he get another one so quickly?
And even worse, how did he manage to lead me on like that.
"she.not.my.girlfriend" he said through gritted teeth
"oh yes she is, you will date her, and love her, and aftet college you and her are getting married"
He said
"married!!! You're crazy old man," he said leaving the room
"you'll warm up to her. Its just a matter of time" he said sitting down
"chimmie lets go to our room" he said dragging me
Our room? I love the sound of that

'well what can i say. Ive kinda grown on you'

'youre welcome chimmie'
"what are you always thinking about" he asked
"oh nothing important" i said
"well here we are...room 305B" he said
"yup" was all i could say
