May's POV
I woke up around 9ish and Jack was still sleeping in the chair next to my bed. When he was rudely waken by a pixie slamming the door open. He was startled awake and sighed after. "Oh i thought you fell that would have been scary, and painful." He said who rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I kissed his forehead as a new pixie entered the room. " what's your name little pixie?" Jack asked extending his hand. "One I'm not a pixie, Ima nymph! And second My Name is Nysa. Oh and this is Echo!" The nymph Nysa said. Then a shorter nymph with brown hair walked in, she must be Echo she placed a tray on my lap and then left. "Enjoy." Said Nysa and she walked out not before sticking her tongue out at Jack. "I'm not really hungry. You want my pancakes?" I asked Jack. "Nah you need to eat even if your not hungry after all you lost a lot of blood." We argued back and forth and then finally we compromised he got half and I got half. Around noonish we had some guests. "May are you ok? I am never letting you go with Jack again unless I know where!!!!!" Lexa said squeezing my hand really hard. Lexa came with Bella and Gabe. "Where's James?" I asked slightly calm but mostly worried. "Not sure, he didn't come back yesterday." Gabe said, I got up and called for the nurse. "Yes what's the problem?" Asked Nysa. "Is there any way that I can get a wheelchair to leave this place?" I asked I was scared what if he died! I know I'm acting like I'm in luv with him but I'm not I'm just really worried.
James POV
I couldn't show my face back at school so I stayed in the woods the whole night hoping that May would be alright. "James! If you can hear me please answer!" I heard a voice, she sounded like she was sobbing. "I'm ok! Where are you?" I asked the crying voice. We played a bit of Marco Polo when I finally reached the crying girl. It was May, but she was on the ground. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a hug. "Why didn't you go back to the school." She asked. "I didn't want them getting mad at me for hurting you, but it seems like I hurt you physically and emotionally." I said wiping away tears from her eyes. She laughed a bit. "Why do you think you hurt me?" She asked. "Well you were crying while calling my name. And crying." "Yeah I was crying cuze I fell from my wheelchair and I can't walk. Wait did you think I was crying because of you 'hurting me emotionally'?" She asked me slightly bewildered. I helped her into her wheelchair and we went back to the dorms where everyone was waiting. "May I need to talk to you." I said my heart was racing. We went to her room and locked the door so no one could interrupt. "May I did think you were crying for me." "I was really worried but was I supposed to be crying for you?" She seemed confused and exhausted. She wrapped herself in blankets and started dozing off. "Continue I'm listening" she said looking at me with curiosity. "May I love....." "You love me?" She asked. I couldn't admit it. "No of course not! I loved the evening last night, well of course before you fell." I told her hiding my feelings. "Oh ok good that would have been kinda awkward." She said snuggling deeper in her blankets. "Yeah it sure would have." My heart shattered into a million pieces.
