Dreams For The Sun
I've lived for a very long time. I was here since before civilization, way before most of the others around me. I always knew I was destined for great things, it is something my mother told me every day since I was a child.
Of course, it was hard to believe her at one point because my light was no better than those around me. She would always calmly tell me "patientes igitur estote et", which stands for "be patient". She held me and told me the day will come when I will shine brighter than the rest. I will be the one everyone loves and needs. That one day they would rely on me so much that they'd cease to exist without me.
