Dipper glanced around nervously as went further and further into the woods, hoping no one had followed him. It had been six years since Weirdmageddon and only now did the brunette have the courage to search for the stone remains of Bill. He'd changed a lot since then, having grown a fair bit taller, gotten some tattoos (some of which vaguely resembled Bill), and grown his hair a bit longer. He and Mabel now helped Soos run the Mystery Shack while his grunkles explored the world. Of course, Dipper wished he could be with them, but for now he stuck to exploring Gravity Falls and looking for oddities for the shack.
His eyes widened as he came to a clearing, the statue of Bill in the middle of it. He dropped his backpack and rushed over, circling the statue. "How...?" he furrowed his brows, despite the time that had passed the statue remained untouched and in perfect condition. He furrowed his brows as the overwhelming desire to shake the statue's extended hand came over him. He knew he shouldn't, he knew shaking the statues hand could only end in disaster...or at least he thought it would. Maybe it really was just a statue and Bill wasn't trapped inside. But maybe Bill was messing with his head and causing the desire. He shuddered and tried to shake away the thoughts, going back to get his bag before returning and sitting by the statue.
"Y'know you really screwed me up.." he said to the statue,"Weirdmageddon and all that? Really messed with my head...parents forced me into therapy and everything.." he sighed, digging out a journal and starting to sketch the statue, "it didn't help...I told everyone it did...but it really di-" he stopped, looking up and narrowing his eyes, "why am I telling you all this? Of all the people...or, creatures. I could tell why you?"
The statue sat in silence, staring at nothing.
"Right...you're trapped and can't really judge me, can you?" Dipper sighed, "or maybe you're just screwing with my head again.."
Still nothing.
"C'mon, Bill I know you can hear me!" Dipper huffed, dropping his journal and standing up, "I know you're in that statue just waiting for me to shake your hand and make a deal!" he shouted before blushing with embarrassment and settling down again, hoping no one had heard him. He stared at the statues hand, biting his lip before just giving in and taking the statues hand.
He held his breath, waiting...almost wanting something to happen. But when nothing did he let go and turned to leave, barely able to keep himself from pouting. Moments later the earth below Dipper's feet started to shake, causing him to fall and a bright flash of light nearly blinded him. Silence followed this and ,when he finally stopped seeing spots, Dipper saw a pile of rubble where the statue once stood.
