We're in the car, on our way to London. When the girls arrived at my house they calmed me down slightly. I'm still so nervous that I feel my head swimming though.
In the car, I sit in the front with Maddie, while Bethan sits in the back doing something on her phone. There's a really awkward silence as we sit there, and so Maddie decides to turn on her music.
One Direction. Great.
Maddie starts singing as me and Bethan groan. 'Can you turn it off, please?' I ask Maddie, 'my head is killing me'.
The look she gives me is scary. I swear she is about to murder me if I say one more word about One Direction. But, she does as she's told, and turns it off.
'Are you alright?' Bethan asks from the back. 'You're feeling okay?' I nod.
'Just my head. Don't worry about it', I mumble quietly, but my head is so sore I can hardly move it. Every time a car drives past it makes me feel ill, and it doesn't help that I'm boiling as well.
'Okay, just take it easy', says Maddie as she turns the corner. I know we'll be there soon. I spent enough time Googling the place where the auditions will be held, and I know this street so well, it feels like I've been here before.
And a minute later, we are there, and parking in an already-busy car park.
