This piece was done based on a class assignment in grade 10, pick a word and illustrate it through the use of a stencil and gold leaf. The word crow was decided on based on the fact that my mother loves them and the character Zevran from Dragon Age. One of my other friends choose the word creepy and was able to do an amazing job with it, I would recommend this as just an exercise for any artist, pick a word and create an illuminated manuscript based on it. This drawing was done with ink, acrylic paint, and gold leaf.
