CHRIS
I threw my bag on the floor and sighed heavily. Another day I will have to stay under the same roof as Alana. I'm beyond tired of her shit. Her and her mom need to leave like it's been more than 2 weeks already! I need to talk to my mom about that cause I can't stand to sleep here another day knowing this girl could be breathing down my neck while I'm sleeping. I honestly think she has a mental problem or something cause she's just straight up straight.
I lay in bed just listening to peace and quiet. Thank god no one was here at the moment. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, so I check to see what it was and it was a text from Avery saying "we need to talk" My eyes immediately widen as I look at the text again. All thoughts just rolling around in my head possible thinking about what she's talking about. She could be talking about wanting to break up, because Alana told her about the kiss! Fuck! I'm going to her house to explain myself

"Why didn't you text back?" She asked while letting me in her house
"You're worried about a fucking text back when I clearly came over here to talk about what Alana told you! I'm sorry Avery that it happened but I didn't think you would want to break up with me for something I did to protect your feelings!" I yelled
"Chris, what the hell are you talking about!?" "Why would I want to break up with you?" She asked
"Because I kissed Alana!" My voice grew louder
"You kissed her?" She said in disbelief like she didn't already know
"Don't play dumb! I know she told you already that's why you texted me talking about wanting to talk!"
"No, I texted you about wanting to talk, because I'm having a hard time dealing with the situation that my parents are thinking about getting a divorce and considering the fact that you're my boyfriend I thought you could keep my mind off it if I talked to you, but clearly your to busy shoving your tongue down Alanas throat!" She yelled as her face turned bright red.
"No, baby I'm sorry I-I thought she told you already" I walk over to her only to have her slap me hard across the face
"What difference does it make!? You kissed her! Chris, you promised you wouldn't cheat on me especially not with her." She yelled as a tear slowly went down her cheek
"Avery, I regret everything. I didn't want to kiss her. I only did it, because she threatened to tell you that I kissed her first" I emphasize my fingers. "but really she kissed me first. I was gonna let you know sooner, but I just didn't know how." I shrugged. "I don't want to break up because of this, but if you do then I'll understand" I said taking a few steps back. I didn't want to touch her cause I didn't want to get slapped again.
"Chris your so dumb! I don't want to break up with you! Yeah you kissed her, but you did say it was too protect my feelings right? I trust you...or unless you really are dumb" She shakes her head
"You know I would never do that to you if I didn't need too. I said I loved you and I meant it" I hesitantly reach for her hand and she let me grab it. I smile.
"I love you Chris" she pulls me down until we're both siting on the floor. We stare at each other and just smile. She has a beautiful smile that's contagious. I can stare at her all day.
"I love you Avery"
"Do you really?" She gets closer to me. Then climbs on top straddling me.
"Mm, maybe" I joke around as I let my hands fall behind me to keep my balance
"Chris, I wanna do it again" she whispered as she started kissing my jawline. Her hands easing its way up my shirt.
"I just got finish telling you about Alana and this is what you think about next? Avery you know we can't..at least not now" I chuckle. This is definitely not the Avery I know.
"Why not? I'll deal with her later, but right now all I need is for you to make me feel better" She whines as she moves her hips in a circular motion..waking you know who
"Because..I don't know we just can't" I said falling back on the ground while putting my hands above my head
"Please Chrissy" she says leaning down to kiss me. This thing she's doing here is what happens after you loose your virginity. You tend to want that feel good moment again, and won't stop till you get it again
"Nope." I said getting up from the floor with her still wrapped tight around my waist. "Baby, I can't have you following me around like a little puppy" I laugh
"Ha ha very funny" she rolls her eyes as she stands on her feet. "I just want to be happy. Don't you want me to be happy?" She looks up at me and suddenly I feel her hand slip inside my pants
"Avery seriously" I bit my lip trying to stay calm. My hands grip tight around her waist
"See. I'm not the only one now am I Christopher?" She lays her head against my chest and strokes me. She's really tryna get me started
"A-Avery..chill" I managed to get out
"Relax" she whispers then someone knocks on the door shocking both of us. She giggles while slowly taking her hands out
"Could you get that?" She said while walking away
"Wait! I have a fucking boner now cause of you I can't answer the door" I said looking down at my pants
"Well I can't either. I just go finish..you know and what if I have to shake their hand or something" she walks away again. She's definitely going to pay for this.
I pull my shirt down as far as I could to cover up, but that didn't really work. I open the door, but only half way showing my face. It's was that Kiron dude.
"Hey, wassup?" he squints his eyes. Obviously confused to why I was keeping the door like this.
"Oh ma bad" I open the door all the way
"Chris, who's at the door?" Avery comes walking in then looking up to see Kiron
"Hey. What are you doing here?" She asks
"I'll just be over there" I said quickly walking over to the couch
"I uh..just wanted to talk to my best friend, but if you're busy it's cool" he says
"Nah it's cool. You know Chris. He wouldn't mind" she says
"Uh, Avery do you not remember?" I tried to mouth out to her. She just waved me off.
"Let's go sit on the couch so we could talk. Um baby?" She says to me
I look up to see her motioning her head for me to let them talk in private. I get up taking the pillow with me and walking over to Avery. I grab her hand and take her to the door
"I'll see you later okay?" I kiss her cheek
"Kay. I love you" she says pecking my lips then laughs once she notices I'm still holding onto the pillow to cover up
"Bye Chris Boner. You can keep the pillow for now" she laughs at me so I throw it at her as I leave

AVERY
"What was that about?" Kiron asks me as I sit back down on the couch
"Nothing" I shake my head and smile really hard just thinking about it
"Are you two officially dating now?"
"Yes! And that's what I've been trying to tell you for a while now, but you just disappeared" I shrug my shoulders
"Where did you go anyway?" I asked turning more of my body to actually face him. He sighs
"Avery..you might hate me for this, but I actually have feelings for you. I've like you every since the beginning of middle school, and I just never had the balls to tell you. You haven't saw me in a while because I tried to ignore you. I tried to keep you off my mind by not talking to you or seeing you. And when Chris came along I knew it was no way for me to actually make my move"
"No, no, no!" I shout
"Kiron, you're joking right?" I asked as I stood up off the couch. He just looks up at me then put his head down shaking it
"Why would you wait to tell me this our senior year? Gosh Kiron, you're my best friend. I never thought about getting together because I see as my brother" I said putting my hands on my head in frustration
"I know, and I'm sorry. I knew you would never feel the same way. I just felt like it was time for me too come clean" he said standing to his feet
"Are you serious!? After I tell you that Chris and I are together you feel like that's a great time to tell me something like this!?"
"I didn't mean for it to happen that way. I came to tell you how I felt about you. I didn't know he was gonna be here" he says. I laugh
"I think you need to leave" I look away from him and point to the door.
After he leaves I walk back over to the couch and throw my head back. Why me!? Why does everything keep happening to me? I never asked for any of this. My brain is just filled with negative things. I can't seem to get away from anything. My whole life is just going wrong. I lay across the couch, close my eyes, and just patiently wait till I fall asleep

I yawn once I fully wake up. I notice I was in my room and Dragon Ball Z was playing on my tv. I jump a little once I notice Chris was stressed out next to me. He was wide awake and smashing on some candy.
"Hey beautiful" he says still focusing on the candy and tv
"Hey, when did you get here?" I sit up a little
"Um..I've been here for about two hours now" he said taking another piece of his candy
"Oh, is my mom here?"
"Yeah. She looks like she's about to leave tho." I nod my head, climb out of bed, and head downstairs. She was by the door slipping on her heels. She was all dressed up with her hair curled and makeup on her face.
"Hey mom" I said to her
"Hey sleepy head" she smiles pulling me in for a side hug and kissing my forehead
"Where are you going?" I ask out of curiosity
"A date mom" she joke around trying to sound like me
"Oh you and dad?" I ask jumping while grabbing her arm
"No, honey. His name is Robert" she says
"Robert?" I scrunch up my face "why aren't you going with dad?" I cross my arms
"Avery, I don't have time for this right now. I'll see you when I get back" she grabs onto her purse and keys and leave the house. I roll my eyes and go back upstairs
"Hey" Chris walks up to me and kisses me on the cheek "Could you get ready?" He says.
"To go where?"
"My house" he said sounding annoyed
"Why what's wrong?"
"Man my mom called and told me I need to come home for dinner, because it's important" he sighs
"Then why do you want me to be there?" I ask
"Cause I want you there." He shrugs. "I'll wait for you downstairs. You don't have to dress in anything fancy" he says then walks out my room. I drag my legs toward my dresser and look for something to wear. I'm really not in the mood to do anything anymore

"I'm ready" I said not sounding excited at all
"Oh cheer up. I don't want to go as much as you don't, but you don't do much but stay in the house all day since someone wanted to get in a fight" he said while opening the door for me
"Well let's hope it happens again tonight. That'll cheer my mood up" We laugh.

"You ready?" Chris asked before opening the door
"Yep" I said as we walk inside. He places his hand on my lower back and leads us to the dining room. It was Mamma J, Ms Julie, and Alana sitting at the table
"Oh, hey Avery. I didn't know you were coming by" she gets up and walk over to me. Alana looked pissed.
"Chris invited me"
"Oh he did?" She puts up a fake smile "Not to be rude or anything, but this was meant to be discussed in private" she says
"Ma whatever you have to say to me you can say in front of her" Chris said pulling me closer to him
"Well" she looks over at Ms Julie
"Let's eat then" she said going back to her seat. I take a seat across from Alana and Chris by my side. I wanted to jump across this table and chock that bitch out, but I'll wait.
"So how have you been Avery? I heard your dad got fired" she said taking a knife and cutting her steak
"Mom" Chris says
"Nah it's okay. I've uh..been great actually" I lie
"That's good" she nods
"Um, how is your relationship with Chris going?" Julie asks.
"Uh-"
"Baby, you don't have to answer. Mom what's this all about? Why are you guys asking Avery questions?" Chris interrupted
"Nothing. You just wanted to invite company on a time like this so why not make conversation" she says chewing down her food
"What? Mom, how is this an important discussion? I don't hear anything being talked about besides you two jumping down Averys throat" Chris said looking back forth from his mom and Julie. I'm confused to why Alana haven't said anything yet. I'm just ready to make my move. She looked pretty nervous. She was biting her nail
"Christopher you just feel the need to say or do whatever you want huh?" Julie says
"What?" He asks
"You think you could just sleep around and play with people's feelings?" She says
"Excuse me?" He raises his eyebrows "Mom I know your not just gonna let this slide? See this is why I've been meaning to tell you that I think they should be heading back home now"
"Chris, you don't get it" she shakes her head
"I don't get what? I don't even know what the hell she's talking bout!?" He says to his mom
"We aren't leaving" Julie crosses her arms
"Why not?" He asked looking over at everyone for an answer
"Because I'm Pregnant" Alana blurts out. My heart jumps out of my chest.
