“Sure you can handle this?”

“Harry, it's just school. I've been here before you know,” I said with a small smile and intertwined our fingers.

“Thanks for asking, though,” I added as he gently kissed my forehead. We entered the school together, and even though I'd just missed one single day, it felt like a whole month. Harry followed me to my locker as usual, still holding my hand in a steady grip. I had almost forgotten about her, but got reminded as soon as I saw her. I wasn't sure how to act towards her, since she'd been acting weird herself. But I felt like it would be immature to not say anything at all.

“Hi Kelly,” I said and gave her a smile. She quickly looked at me through her curtain of hair and made me surprised by returning my smile.

“Hi,” she said quietly before closing the locker nicely and slowly walking away.

“See! I told you she'd be happy again. Everybody has bad days sometimes,” Harry said, probably realizing that I was surprised by the fact that she answered me.

“Yes, I guess you're right.” But I just couldn't help but feel like something was wrong with her, even though I didn't knew her that well.

“Open wide!”

“No Harry, people are looking,” I giggled.

“Let them! Come on, do it!” I just sighed and opened my mouth as wide as I possibly could. I tilted my head back a bit, so it would be easier for him. I could see how he frowned and stuck his tongue out in concentration.

“Ready?” he asked, and I managed to let out a weird sound as reply. Harry threw the small grape through the air in a graceful movement. I could see how it came closer and closer and had to react quickly and move my head in the right direction. The small, green grape landed in my open mouth, which caused Harry to stand up and put his arms in the air with the biggest smile I'd ever seen. I just laughed at him as I grabbed the sleeve of his shirt and pulled him back down.

“This is embarrassing,” I admitted as I looked around at all the faces in the school cafeteria that had turned in our direction.

“Are you embarrassed of me?” Harry asked and pouted his mouth, trying to look sad. I leaned in closer and kissed his cheek.

“No, you're just weird sometimes.” He pulled away to look at me, a smile spread across his face.

“Yeah, you're right. But I know you love me anyway!”

“Your place, or mine?” Harry asked as I grabbed my things when the school finished.

“Well, my dad's home, so you don't have to be with me now if you don't want to,” I said. Harry just leaned against the locker next to mine and looked up in the roof, letting out a small sigh.

“Amber, I want to spend time with you. But if you want to go home to your dad that's, well, fine I guess.” I looked at him with a small smirk and put my hand to my side.

“Fine, your place then.”

It always made me happy to pull up outside Harry's house. I guess it's weird to say that it almost started to feel like my own home, but it's true. Maybe it's because I spend so much time there. I stepped out of my small car as Harry climbed out of his big vehicle.

“Welcome,” he said with a grin.

“Thank you,” I laughed.

“Nobody home?” I asked as we entered the quiet house.

“Hello?!” Harry called out before looking down at his watch.

“Guess not,” he said and looked at me with a smile.

“Well, Carter, we have the whole house to ourselves! What do you wanna do?” he playfully asked. I didn't know what to answer, was he having a plan already?

“I don't know, Styles. Any ideas?” I asked back as I followed him to the living room and watched him as he sat down on the sofa. I sat down next to him and crossed my legs, and jumped slightly when he quickly stood up again.

“What's wrong?” I asked.

“I just sat on my phone,” he said and pulled, not only the phone, but a piece of paper out of his pocket.

“Oh shit! I forgot about that,” he sighed.

“What is it?” I asked before he gave it to me. I opened the wrinkly paper and saw that it was some sort of homework.

“What subject?” I asked.

“Biology.” I couldn't help but smile, and let out a small laugh.

“What?” Harry asked. I looked up at him and couldn't help but get a bit emotional.

“Don't you remember Harry? Biology. It's the same subject. That time when I helped you in the library. When I hit my head, and you made sure I was alright. That time when you had something to tell me. Remember?” He smiled his beautiful smile, showing the dimples and sat down next to me.

“I remember,” he said as he placed one arm round my shoulders.

“How could I forget?” he added. I smiled and leaned in to kiss his lips. He placed the other hand on my cheek and returned the kiss.

“I love you,” he whispered.

“I love you too.”

“Will you please help me with this assignment?” he whispered.

“Why are you whispering?”

“I don't know.” I laughed and looked away from him and back to the paper.

“This is kind of hard,” I admitted as we sat there in the kitchen in front of Harry's computer. Harry sat next to me and took big bites out of an apple. He sometimes handled it to me so I could taste some.

“Well, I never though there'd be a day when you think biology is hard,” he said and took another bite of the apple. I just nodded and stared at the computer screen.

“I'm sorry, I don't know about this,” I admitted. That's strange, I usually like this kind of homework, but this was just too much. I rubbed my forehead and looked at Harry.

“Here Einstein, take the rest if you'd like,” he said and handled me the apple.

“Thanks,” I said and took a juicy bite as Harry shut down the computer.

“Maybe Elizabeth can help you with that,” I said and made a gesture with my hand towards the paper that laid on the table.

“It's alright, I'll deal with it later. Thank you for your help,” he said and gently pecked my lips before looking at his watch again.

“It's another hour until we have to pick up the twins,” he said and looked at me again.

“Okay.”

“So, we're back to were we started, what should we do now?” I though about it for a minute.

“Let's watch a movie!”

“You know what, I really start to regret our decision,” I said and cuddled even closer to Harry, pulling the blanket higher up in my face. Horror movies. I've never liked them.

“Amber, it hasn't even started yet,” Harry laughed and placed his arm around me.

“I know, and I'm terrified already. And your big TV isn't a plus in this case. It usually is, but not now!”

“It's okay, I can comfort you,” he said and pulled me even closer. I rested my chin on his shoulder, ready to bury my face and look away if it was necessary. I had also put my legs in his lap, his left hand resting on them as he had his right hand on my back.

“The worst part of it all is that the movie seems pretty good, so I have to look,” I said and slowly covered my ears, just to make it feel a bit better.

“It is a great movie, you won't regret it!” Harry said without looking away from the big screen.

I had to admit that the movie was scary, too scary for my kind. Harry on the other hand seemed to enjoy it really much, so I saw no point in interrupting. I tried to look somewhere else as discrete as I possibly could, just so I wouldn't have to look at the movie. My gaze stopped at Harry, of course. He was always the only one I wanted to lay my eyes on. I couldn't help myself, but I started to play with his hair a bit, finger on a curl. I knew that he noticed it, but just as always, he pretended the opposite. I had just finished whirling a curl round my finger when he turned his head and looked at me. I didn't know what to say, so I just smiled and playfully put the blanket over my head. I didn't get any reaction from him at first, but I knew that he would do something. I was right. He started to tickle me, causing me to scream and quickly remove the warm blanket.

“Harry!” I laughed and tried to remove his hands from my waist.

“You know that I can't handle this!” I screamed between the laughs. He just kept going and pulled me closer. I ended up in his lap in a position that reminded a bit of a ball or something. He finally stopped and I had to catch my breath.

“I'll make you pay for that,” I said in a low voice. He just laughed and kissed my forehead.

“Sure, anything you want,” he laughed. I grabbed his hand and started to play with his fingers when he brought his eyes back to the movie. I couldn't help it, but I found Harry a lot more interesting. As I played with his fingers on his left hand, I caught a glimpse of his watch.

“Harry,” I started.

“Yes,” he said and looked down at me as I was lying there in his lap.

“When are you supposed to pick up the twins?” He quickly looked at the watch.

“Oh shit! We have to go,” he said and quickly turned off the movie.

“Do you want to come with me?” he asked as he closed the front door behind us.

“I'm afraid not. I have to go home to dad, see how he's doing,” I admitted and searched through my pocket for my car keys. Harry nodded

“Okay.” He took a step closer and cupped my face and leaned down to give me a sweet kiss on the mouth.

“I love you,” he said. I was just about to answer him when my phone buzzed. We both froze.

“Is it from him?” Harry asked immediately and I had to remind myself that he knew about that. I didn't look away from Harry as I searched for my phone as well and slowly looked down at the screen. I let out a sigh in relief, causing Harry to do the same.

“No, it's just dad wondering when I come home,” I said.

“Okay, what a relief.” I nodded with a smile. We said goodbye and left his house in separate cars.
