Hi there! This is Anna Kaye here signing in! Today is our first day as fourth-year students. We shall have an announcement from the school principal. Everyone seems pumped up since yesterday because it's going to be all about the year-end exam. l really can't wait!
"Hey! Wait up, Anna!" Kelcie caught up.
"Oh, Kelcie. Good morning, what took you so long?" I smiled.
Kelcie panted a little. This girl here is my cousin, Kelcie Reyes. She's also a fourth-year student like me and is currently my roommate.
Wha! I almost forgot! I've been talking about school all this time but it seems, I've forgotten to introduce our school, silly me. *clears throat Our school is no other than, Elemya Academy!
This is a place where we, special students, go to. Elemya Academy is not just any normal school. It's also a training ground for teens who possess and can use magic, like Kelcie and me.
"Hurry up, Anna! We'll be late!"
"Okay, coming!" I said, catching up to her.

"Peace out, y'all!" The principal started.
That's Mr. Wu. He's Elemya's principal. Obviously by the way he talks, you'd already notice that he's a Chinese hippie.
"As y'all know, there wil be an annual exam for you, highschoolers." Mr. Wu avoided the microphone.
I forgot to mention that he hates technology. He's pretty old-school.
"I must inform you that the year-end exam is a tournanament all of you in your perspective riots , or whatever you gangsters call it nowadays. You must all work together for the three main events.
Everyone started chattering noisily. Three?! That's too many! I heard last year that the graduates only had one...And why tournament?! What the hell?!
"Quiet down, I'll be giving y'all the first event. It's the Singles. You must all duel...but you can't kill each other....coz it's MURDER!!" Mr. Wu continued.
Hmm...awkward silence...
"A-anyway, I shall be informing you about the second event when the time comes. Peace out y'all! Assembly dismissed." Mr. Wu suddenly covered his face with a cape and mysteriously vanished.
Now, that was pretty weird...

Ding Dong!
I guess, I need to introduce you to the groups now that that year-end exam is coming.
You see, the fourth-year students are divided into groups. This year, we have 15 groups but only 8 are the more popular ones. Each group has a maximum of 30 students but I guess we have fewer members this year. Okay, on with the first group...
Group A is also known as the Valhalla Knights. They're the best when it comes to offensive attacks but when it comes to their number, they're...well...pretty few to be even called as a group. Still, the principal considers them one because of their exceptional skills in every aspect of our academy's educational curriculum...umm...how should I say this...hmm...thinking...Ah, I got it! They're like a group of perfect beings, or something like that!
G-geez, I'm describing them as if they're the best group ever!! Of course, my group won't be beaten by them...coz...coz..our group is also the BEST!
So, next is...
Group B. They're called as the Valkyrie Profile. Unlike Group A, they have a lot of members. They have 30 members to be exact. That's why they're divided into Set A and Set B. I don't really know each of their functions but one thing I'm sure about is that...they're all...MENTAL GIANTS!! Group B specializes in Information Gathering, that's why. They're GEEKS, NERDS and I don't want to be a part of them! And well, they're so...pfft...puny! Hahaha! Well, in easier terms, their physical abilities need much improvement.
Next up is Group C...
"Anna! Anna!" Candy called me. "Are you listening?"
"C-candy?! Why are you here?"
"You're spacing out again! We're in the club room.
"S-sorry, so you were saying..."
"I'm asking you if you already have a good scoop for our school paper."
"A-ah...GOSH! I almost forgot!" I panicked.
"Don't tell me you forgot that you're the newspaper editor of the month?!
"I'm so sorry! I'll go look for a good scoop right now! I promise!!" I said, rushing out of the room as quick as possible.
Candy sighed. "She never changes."

"Hmm...where should I start?" I started walking around.
Oh yeah, let's continue with the intros. Maybe I can think of a good scoop on the way.
Group C. They're also called as the Cross Edge. Specialty -> Stealth. When you hear the word stealth, you may think of secretive, invisible or something like that but nuh-uh. They're actually the complete opposite of that because they're the...kindest of the kindest! Ha~ it sure is nice being with them. They're like angels. I'd really love to be in their group.
Next in line is Group D...
Assassin's Creed, that's what you call Group D. They specialize in Counters. Well, from their specialty, you'll know that they really are a group of cons. Almost in everything each group decides, they always oppose to it. They wouldn't retaliate it unless it excites them. They're pretty much like SPOILED BRATS! I hate them!! They're a group of hard-headed people. I guess we can't do anything about that issue.
Group E, known as the Winter Rose, specializing in Femme. In other words, feminine attacks. I really can't blame those guys for their powers, what's done is done. Still...their group is...their members are...kyaa...all of them are so sparkly and bright! They're all so BEAUTIFUL! They're like idols! No one can beat them when it comes to beauty. (Crap, I'm drooling.)
Ah...*clears throat. Sorry about that! Please forget about it! It's just so embarrassing! So humiliating!
"Hmm? Anna? Why's your face red?" Kelcie asked.
"Oh, Kelcie! It's nothing." I muttered back.
"Ya heading home already?"
"Nope, not yet. I still need to look around more...for the school paper."
"Okay, but make sure not to talk to yourself much, okay?" Kelcie walked away. "Bye."
"Ha?! Am I talking to myself again? But...hey...it's not public, I'm sure of it!"

I guess, I can't fully eliminate that habit of talking to myself. Sometimes, I just can't control myself. Okay...okay, let's continue...
Group F is also known as Harmonics. That's where Kelcie and I are in. Our group specializes in balance - offensive, defensive and many more magics, we have them all. We're also scholars like Group A and Group B. We're the best in everything! Hohoho! But...to be honest...unlike Group A...hate to say this but...but...we still have FLAWS. *gloom* N-nevertheless, we still have to try and alter those mistakes but as the saying goes "Nothing is permanent in life" and thus, up until now, we try our very best!
Group G, the group called as the Final Summon, specializes in sly attacks. Their members mostly possess the power of summoning and such. They're really, very interesting but sadly, whenever I enter their class to interview them, I always get caught in their so-called tricks. It's also their specialty. They're well-known when it comes to their traps. I can still recall those times...*sigh*...if only I can use my magic freely, then, I could blow up those traps into pieces. Hahaha!
Lastly, Group H...
Abysmal Mortality is their group name. They're the creepiest group ever!! They specialize in morbid attacks. Horrible, right? Most of them use black magic, witchcraft and anything related to the word, creepy. I'm also very interested in them but unlike in Group G, I...well...voluntarily leave their classroom so without ever thinking, I'd immediately run out of there like a little baby afraid of a monster under the bed. They creep the hell out of me!! They're just so secretive and mysterious...
Yay! Yay! At long last, I'm done with the intros. Then, I'd better try my best to go look for a scoop tomorrow! :D
