~Zya's POV~
Day when Zya finds Plague at Hunters Quarters
I snarled to myself as I paced back and forth in my library. God damn it where the hell was Plague! I growled fiercely as I started pacing making Emee flinch every time I growled and snarled at my sudden anger. Emee looked up at me with boredom, making my wolf very aggravated and even more pissed off. How could she just sit there, if she was Plague and someone went missing, she would have had them home by now. That was one of the reasons why she had become my favorite slave. I glanced out the huge window as Emee says
"Master, maybe Plague decided to leave you... I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything I'm just saying what if she had enough of this..."
I stopped pacing as I slowly turned my head to the side to glare at Emee with so much hatred, who was she to make an assumption like that? I felt my Wolf screaming to take over but I kept calm as I took a deep breath but my eyes never moved from Emee as I yelled at her loudly making it perfectly clear to her.
"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK SUCH LIES! PLAGUE WOULDN'T LEAVE ME EVEN IF SHE WAS EXTREMELY FURIOUS... WE ALL KNOW SHE WOULD BE HERE SCREAMING UP A STORM NOT FUCKING MISSING!"
Emee eyes widen while she flinched at the sound of my voice, I knew exactly that Plague wouldn't leave, I just know she wouldn't. The thing was I couldn't find her damn lustful scent or hear her thoughts. I started to become impatient as I told Emee to go retrieve Aida and his father. I just couldn't stand not feeling her next to me, her anger that I loved so much. The thing was it was pissing me off when she didn't answer to me when I was practically screaming for her. Where could she have gone for two days? Does she have any idea what the hell she is putting me through with this tangent of hers? I started to paced again while I was awaiting for Aida and Roku to get here, God why was Emee so damn fucking slow with this shit? Finally, Aida and Roku walk in as Aida asked solemnly well more of a statement with a worried tone.
"Plague still isn't here."
I growled loudly to myself as a huge painfully tug hit my heart as I stopped pacing for a second and looked out of my window and said
"No..... Aida... Roku, I am calling a search team for Plague right now."
Roku sighed heavily as he said
"Fucking finally, Zya. Aren't you even the slightest worried for my daughter? Do you even care for her?"
My eyes snapped towards Roku as hatred filled my body as I snarled out hatefully and loudly so he could hear me clearly.
"Of course I am! Don't you dare accuse me of not being worried I'm scared that she might be in trouble. I love her Roku, even if she doesn't love me back I will bring her home and keep her safe and out of harms way. I will do anything to keep my love safe. Anyways wasn't you and your wife the ones who threw 'your' daughter into a slave traders."
MY eyes watched them closely as Roku looked at me with a bit hurt as Aida placed his hand on my shoulder helping me calm down a bit, reassuring me that we will get Plague back home safely. Aida sighed softly and then softly spoke.
"Then lets go get our Luna back Zya. I'll tell the others to go out searching before we leave. Try to calm down and calm your wolf down, your eyes are blazing red."
~Skipped to where Zya found Plague in the hunters house~
I had finally found my mate and so far she was a bit safe. I looked at Aida and Roku as we walked to the front of the house. I decided to wait a couple hours so it didn't seem fishy that some one came up right after Plague had howled. I then said quietly.
"Aida , Roku stay out here no matter what, if she is in a booby trapped room it is safer for you to be out here for back up."
They both nodded their heads as I walked up to the door of the house by myself. It seemed very familiar but I couldn't remember what or how, I swear I have seen the emblem of a phoenix on a door but I just wasn't coming into my mind. I knocked on the door, in an instant some one opened the door for me. They narrowed their eyes at me and motioned me in probably thinking I was one of the new hunters in town. I gladly walked in as they closed and locked the door behind me. Two guys grabbed my shoulders as I gave them a warning low growl that I was completely unhappy with this. I looked up in front of me just to see Emee in a chair smiling at me with an evil grin on her face. I glared harshly as the two guys sat me down pointing a gun at my head. I growled loudly as I saw the guy start to shake nervously as fear radiated off of him. Emee crossed her legs in a civil manner as I growled out
"What the fuck are you doing Emee?"
"I have a proposition for you Zya."
I narrowed my eyes at her as I smirked as I laughed to myself making her frown at me with a weak glare. Emee then said
"Make me your one and only mate, Zya."
I almost gagged myself as anger rose up in my body. I grinned evilly as I started to chuckle lowly, just listen to this weak pathetic human asking me to make them their mate. Ha! That's fucking funny and to top it off by the looks of it she looks like she really thought she was better then my mate I have right now. How dare she say something like that to me!? I then yelled
"NO WAY IN HELL WILL YOU BE MY MATE! PLAGUE IS MY ONLY MATE I WANT AND NEED! DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND ME EMEE?! Anyways, you are in no position to request something like that to me, I am your alpha, I own you and every single Hunter in this place, you do not scare me."
Emee's smile fades quickly obviously not liking what I had said to her 'proposition'. Emee narrows her eyes at me then hissed out hatefully. She sat up perfectly straight as she leaned back into her chair.
"Fine we will do it the hard way... We have Plague locked up here in one of our newly made and special rooms. If you do not accept my offer we will test out our newest creation. See we had found out that we could put silver in the air and kill off a werewolf slowly and painfully, meaning that they can feel every piece of silver entering their bodies and airways. Our new rooms have vents that we could easily spray into Plague's room and kill her."
Emee stared at me while I glared down at her. How could she think she could put me in this position? Emee continued
"If you do agree to be mine and only mine then we will let Plague go free. But... She may not come around or I will kill her in front of you. Now do you understand Zya... You have to get rid of her fucking mark first then agree to be my mate."
My breath was caught up in my chest, how could she say something like that? My heart was tearing into pieces but I had to save my love and the only way was to agree to Emee's wishes that made me fucking sick to the core. I needed to first get Plague out of here safely and make sure she wouldn't came back till I had killed Emee. I looked down at me feet running both hands in my long black hair trying to muster up the courage to do what I had to do... I already know that I will say the worst words I would ever say in all my life. I looked around the room trying to see if their was any other possible way for this to happen and my chances of that was none. I looked down at my hands in defeat as I took one big shaky breath and I softly say
"Fine... You win Emee... Just promise that she will be let free."
Emee jumped with joy out of her seat as she said
"Dad isn't this great news?!"
I frowned as I looked over to see Emee hug another guy as he watched me carefully. That fucking bitch will pay for all of this, mark my words she will fucking pay. So this had been planned for a long time, genius but horrible... My poor love, I hope she wont hate me after what I will do, Hopefully she will not do what I think she would do. I had slowly followed Emee and her father into a room as I saw Plague. Her fearful eyes switched to happiness right as she saw me but I kept a blank face so she couldn't catch my bluff. Emee then said
"Zya has agreed to be my mate if we let you go free...but you can not come near him or the pack ever again. Now Zya take that mark off of her."
Fuck she was tearing me apart slowly with this shit, Plague's gorgeous blue eyes widen in disbelief at Emee as the moved towards me with hope that Emee was lying to her, making my heart wrenched up tight. God how I hated myself for this. I then said in a monotone
"Lets get this over with Plague."
Plagues eyes frowned up at me as I could see the hurt written across her face. I have never seen her hurt so badly in my life. She was trying to fight off the pain and hurt, she was searching my face for any type of hope that I was lying and this was just some huge joking we were pulling off on her. Sadly this was no game, and this was really happening. Plague then says
"Zya... I... Don't you love me Zya?"
God why did she have to ask me that, I did love her I was doing this for her safety out of my love, I wanted to scream out YES and I will always and forever. I had to get her out of this deathly room though, what other choice did I have? I then scoffed as I hardened my eyes so she couldn't see the sadness in my eyes as I hissed out not really believing what I was about to say.
"I never loved you... How could I love some thing like you, a pathetic worthless slave?"
God I was hating myself so much... Her eyes widen as I noticed tears about to spill out making my heart wrench out and tighten but I kept a blank face. This was for her safety I kept reminding myself, this was for her to be able to get out of this damn house. Plague searched my face trying to figure out if I was absolutely serious finding out my lie that I was. She recoiled as she opened her mouth to saying something but nothing came out of her beautiful mouth. Instead she walked up to me ripping my shirt revealing my mark from her as I stared at her think, what the fuck are you doing? That was going to be my way out of this fucking mess. I heard Emee gasp out but I didn't fucking care what she thought. Plague ignored my reaction as she bit down as I did the same. I started to feel empty inside as we backed away from each other as pain was going through me, it was boarder line rejection. I needed her god damn it and this bitch is taking her away from me. Plague then slammed me into the wall while growling at me as I saw tears start slipping out of her eyes rolling down her face. Plague then growled out
"Don't ever look for me... If you do... I hope your happy to see where i'm going to be, you fucking asshole. I FUCKING HATE YOU FOR ALL OF THIS!"
Oh god no, she didn't really mean.... My eyes filled with my emotions as she completely ignored my pleading eyes as she stood up glaring at Emee. No, no, no this isn't how its suppose to be, god damn it. Plague is my mate! I knew perfectly well that she was going straight to Orenji's house. Emee looked smug as she says in a sexy tone
"Well, I will see you in the mansion in a few minutes okay nookie poo."
My head was swarming with fear as my body slid down the wall, her look on her face was the worst look I could have ever seen. That hurt, that pain that she never showed till now, I mean yes she has been hurt a couple times but not emotionally hurt like this. I closed my eyes as I growled lowly at myself cursing to myself calling myself an idiot. I weak ignorant fool. I knew I shouldn't have said those last parts about her being a slave but if I didn't then she would have caught my bluff and ruined her only escape. I ran my hands through my hair as I slowly picked my self up and walked out. I walked out of the house long after Plague had left, in a complete daze of emptiness and anger. Emee wanted to meet up at the mansion in a bit so she left early. All of a sudden, Roku grabbed my throat as he growled out.
"Why did Plague come out of that house crying!!"
"Where is Aida?"
"He followed Plague... Tell me why?!"
I looked away as I growled out...
"I was tricked by Emee. She said she would let Plague go if I made her the female mate..."
Roku growled out with so much anger and hate as he cut me off
"So you let Plague think that you never loved her and that you never wanted to see her again!!!"
"THEY WOULD HAVE KILLED HER ROKU!"
Roku narrowed his eyes as he hissed out
"So you thought letting my daughter think that you never truly loved her was the better choice to go with? Yet you call me the asshole who gave her away when your the one who did the same as my wife. You had a fucking pack out side this house waiting to attack... yet you thought this was a safer and better plan?"
My eyes watered as I looked towards the south off to Orenji's mansion 300 miles away.... Why couldn't I have saved her... Why didn't I have the perfect opportunity to kill all of them and save her without all of this god damn mess.
