Madi's POV
My eyes fluttered open immediately focusing on the cute Irish boy sound asleep next to me (No nothing happened you perverted children!) all I can hear is the sound of his soft snores and the light serene chirpping of birds outside. I pick up my phone to check the time and notice I have a text from my mom. I smile opening the text.
Mom :)
Hi Madi I hope your having a good time in England so far let me know where your staying? I worry about you sweet heart, have you reached out to Audrey yet? I really think you should work things out with her honey you have ignored her to long, let me know when you find out what your gonna do :) xoxo I love you.
Of course my mum is completely overreacting.
Mum everything's fine I'm staying with her actually I'm settling in fine and I will try to give you a call soon xoxo love you too!
"Where is your family?" I hear Niall's thick Irish accent and almost melt, his voice is so sexy in the morning.
"In Canada." I sigh
"Do you miss them?" He asks
"Every day." I reply trying not to look weak.
"You can tell me anything you know, I know we just met but I'm a very trustworthy person." He says looking in to my eyes thoughtfully.
"Thank you Niall, but there's not much to tell. I moved to Canada with my family a few years ago and I finally realized London is where my heart is. I knew coming back was the right thing to do so I did. I miss my family terribly but there's not much I can do, and I have Audrey to help me through it she is my best friend. I don't know what I would do without her." I say taking in a sharp breath, talking about my family isn't easy but I just feel like Niall should know about my past.
"Why did you move to Canada?" He asked the one question I did not want to hear escape his perfect lips. I bit my bottom lip feeling very uncomfortable why should I tell him? I have never told anyone this. I have barely admitted it to myself I have always thought of it as a faded and tattered memory as if I knew it was there but I didn't acknowledge it. I have kept this rusted memory stored away deep in the back of my mind for so long maybe I should tell Niall maybe letting this traumatizing memory escape my lips will help it escape my mind also.
"Well I have an uncle and we were very c-close." I began to stutter and that was when I noticed this was not going to be as easy as I thought.
"Madi, the last thing I want to do is make you uncomfortable. You don't have to tell me if your not ready I will understand. I just hope you know you can trust me with anything." He lifted his hand and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. I smiled feeling a light blush creep on to my cheeks.
"Why do you care about me so much?" I blurted out. "I mean, well it's just-" he cut me off.
"Madi I have only known you for a day but I feel like I could tell you anything, I feel like I can trust you and I just want you to feel the same about me. I care about you so much because I have never met someone so outgoing, sweet, caring, funny and beautiful ever. I probably sound like an idiot right now but I just don't feel as connected to the boys as I used to be. Management thinks they would be better off if I wasn't in the band at all, honestly I just need a friend right now." He says I watch his features intently.
"I do trust you Niall. It's just I have never told anyone and Im afraid of reliving the event. I'm just not prepared for anything drastic." I say hesitantly I really hope he's not hurt.
"I understand Madi." He says with a sympathetic smile.
Just then Louis burst through the door energetically, our heads turned to face the door and he visibly tensed his grin dropping.
"Did I interrupt something?" He asks hesitantly.
"Uh. N-no not at all." I smiled getting up and walking towards the door, "Louis do you know where Audrey is?" I asked.
"Yeah she's still sleeping, we were up pretty late last night." He said, Niall and I burst out laughing and I winked Louis.
"Watch it Tomlinson she's my best friend." I laughed leaving the room to begin searching for the washroom. I finally find it and walk in to see Zayn brushing his teeth.
"Sorry." I say about to exit, I hear him spit in the sink.
"It's all yours." He says with a smile dropping his tooth brush in a holder and leaving the washroom. I look in the mirror and frown at my complexion, how could such a famous beautiful Irish boy even think twice about a girl like me. I groan and leave the washroom to find Audrey leaving Louis' room wiping sleep from her eyes, she is so pretty her brown hair cascaded off her shoulders so perfectly despite her just getting out off bed her bright blue eyes intensely peering down the hallway, she is the perfect size she's not fat but he's not like anorexic. I'm just so jealous of her perfect image. No wonder Louis adores her. He would never admit now because they just met but I can tell by the way he looks at her that he is falling for her and I know she feels the same way, it's like I have a sixth sense or something. I'm like Cupid! But I don't like... Wear a diaper... Yeah.. I follow Audrey down the hall wondering where she was going it looked like she was heading down stairs to the kitchen but she stopped at Nialls room. I watched as she gently wiped under her eyes and played with her hair a bit straightening out her purple hoodie that she was wearing with Louis' white boxer shorts. I couldn't help but giggle watching her stress out about what she looked like at nine in the morning because she is going to see Louis. Luckily she didn't hear me laugh and she just walked in to the room a smile on her face.
"Good morning guys!" I hear her say happily as I walk on past hoping to find Liam in the kitchen.
"Morning Liam." I say bluntly sitting on a stool in front off him, I watched his actions as he carefully cut up strawberries.
"Morning Madi, how was your sleep." He smiled, looking up momentarily for an answer.
"Better than usual." I mumbled, he chuckled at my answer before directing his attention back to the strawberries he was cutting.
"Would you like some strawberries?" He asked not looking up from the knife in his hand, he was so cautious.
"I would love some strawberries." I smile as he hands me a small bowl with strawberries in it and sits beside me with his own. "Thank you." I say politely taking the bowl and setting it in front of me.
"So you slept with Niall last night?" He smirked as I choked on the strawberry I currently had in my mouth.
"Uh depends on the context of that sentence." I say
"Uh.. No! I-I didn't. No no I didn't mean it like that!" He says cautiously.
"Okay well then yeah I guess so." I say shyly. Liam nods and looks down at his feet.
"Morning" Harry says quietly. Scuffing his feet as he walks in to the Kitchen tiredly reaching for a box of cereal.
"Good Morning." Louis says happily strolling in to the kitchen and sitting down next to me stealing a strawberry from my bowl and popping it in to his mouth teasingly.
"Haaayy" I whine
"Hay is for horses." He replys.
"Audrey! Tell your boyfriend to leave me alone!" I shout as I spot Audrey making her way in to the kitchen she sits opposite of me and Louis and blushes.
"Not my job sweetheart." She laughs winking at me. I stick my tongue out at her and she takes a strawberry from my bowl, just as she was about to put it in her mouth Louis sweeps in and steals it from her fingers.
"Lou! You already had one!" She whined.
"Oh sorry want it back?" He says opening his mouth and pretending to stick his index finger down his throught.
"Blah." She stuck her tongue out and he winked at her. I could hear Niall laughing at their actions, Harry was mumbling under his breath and Zayn was shouting "just make out already!" I laughed.
"You guys are so cute!" I squealed and they both blushed Audrey getting up and taking a drink of orange juice from the fridge, she sat back down and took a sip setting it back down on the table. I picked it up taking a drink and sitting it back down in front of her.
"Must I share everything with everyone!" She shouts taking another drink from the orange juice.
"Yup" Louis replies finishing off the juice and sticking his tongue out at her. She gets up dropping the cup in the sink,
"I'll do the dishes!" She shouts and Harry walks up behind her placing his arms around her waist And resting his head on her shoulder. I couldn't hear what he was saying but he was talking in her ear, I could see Louis staring intently at Harry, anger burning in his eyes "Louis' pissed." Liam whispers in my ear bringing me out of my thoughts.
"I can see that." I say watching Louis intently as he stands up and walks towards them.
"Hey!" He says loudly making them both jump apart. "Want some help with those dishes?" He asks politely, I watch as Audrey looks awkwardly at him and smiles sympathetically.
"Actually Harry just offered thanks though." She says, Louis looks a little hurt as he walks back to the table. His gaze never leaving Audrey and Harry as they blow bubbles at each other and splash water. His frown visible he looks at me.
"Take a chill pill Louis." I say calmly he looks at me sadly and I take his wrist pulling him in to the living area.
"Let's watch cartoons!" I say happily trying to keep his mind off of Harry and Audrey, he sighs.
"Louis don't worry about it, Harry's just being a flirt." I say reassuringly.
"Okay." He says bluntly, turning on the TV with a bored expression.
I feel so bad for Louis, doesn't Audrey realize how much he cares about her? She is so oblivious.
