green grass,
an open field,
a nice summer afternoon,
i walked over and saw you standing there,
now i wouldn't call it,
"love at first sight",
but i liked you from the start,
the way your eyes shone,
your sweet smile,
your funny jokes,
making me laugh,
messing around,
distracting me,
maybe it was just the summer heat,
but i swear i felt something between us,
maybe it was the you looked at me,
maybe it was the way i felt like we were the only ones there,
i was hoping,
that we'd get to know each other,
