Question for the Fans: What do you think of the Grounder Anthem? (translation in the pic above)
1. In the top the Polis tower, Clarke is visited by Lexa. It's been a week since she was brought in and Lexa seems to had it with her demands.
2. Lexa informs her that there is a summit the Skaikru will attend in Polis and she will be returned to them. While Clarke questions how Lexa had her captured only to be send her away, the Commander states she only wanted to keep her safe.
3. Clarke brings up their attack on Mountain Weather and how she was abandoned and forced to kill everyone. She accuses Lexa of not having any honor.
4. Lexa announces her wish to enter Skaikru in the Coalition (Kongeda) of Clarke bows before her. However, Clarke is insulted, calls her selfish, states that she knows Lexa is trying to use her to strengthen her position and tells her to go float herself. (Someone is still mad about the Mountain incident!)
5. Lexa returns to her throne room where the ambassadors are waiting. When Titus (her right-hand and guy with the odd tattoos on his head) orders them to sit, Azgeda ambassador refuses.
6. The Azgeda ambassador becomes arrogant asking if Clarke is still alive because the Commander is too weak to kill her and when Titus and Indra confront him about the Azgeda army crossing the boarder into Trikru land, he brushes it off as military exercises.
7. Lexa has enough of this and calls the Ambassador to join her on the balcony to speak to him, claiming she has a message for the Queen. However, once the Ambassador does that, she kicks him of the tower killing him.
8. After making certain no one else questions her or her authority, Lexa begins the meeting.
9. Kane, Abby and a few members of the guard reach Polis's limits, waiting for the Grounder guards.
10. Kane orders to leave the weapons and radios behind until he spots a guard with a medical kit from the Mountain and becomes upset.
11. Abby steps in telling him to be mad at her for making the decision to send Farm Station in and open the facility as a clinic. Kane is still angry because that will not help them achieve what they want from the summit (getting Clarke back, Lincoln's kill order lifted, trading routes for their people).
12. Kane quickly realizes his mistake bringing up Clarke and Abby expresses her worries about Lexa not giving her back. He reassures her by promising not to leave without Clarke.
13. Meanwhile, Bellamy, Raven, Octavia and Gina arrive in Mountain Weather.
14. Bellamy says he wanted to be in the summit, but can't because Kane is trying to teach him a lesson (probably be patient, don't act rash and don't dress up as a Grounder to go find Clarke because you'll fail miserably and get yourself killed)
15. Raven tells the group about how she fixed a problem on the Ark and got a promotion from Sinclair. Claiming he thinks she can do no wrong, Sinclair reprimands her on being late and sends her to work the moment he sees her.
16. Pike and 36 members of the Farm Station have gotten comfortable in Mountain Weather, something that displeases Octavia and worries the rest of the group.
17. Back in Polis, Clarke meets with Roan who seems upset with Lexa going back on her word to lift his banishment. He believes Clarke wants revenge as well.
18. After Clarke tells him to do whatever he wants to Lexa since she is going home tonight, Roan tells her he can't get close, but she can't. Claiming to have many of the guards by his side, he tells her there will be a knife when she gets back to her room.
19. After claiming that if she kills Lexa, Queen Nia will be very grateful and she'll become her ally, Clarke states she hears she is worst than Lexa, Roan tells her that they both want one thing. To do the best for their people.
20. Outside the Mountain's entrance, Octavia expresses her disagreement with bringing people there and using the Mountain while she is dreading the time when Lincoln will have the kill order lifted and they'll live.
21. Bellamy doesn't seem too hurt by her words, since he wants the best for her, but states she will always fit in with him.
22. While the Blake siblings are having a moment, Farm Station guards bring a Grounder, who appears to be Echo, aka the prisoner who saved Bellamy last season by helping him kill Lovejoy.
23. Echo tells Bellamy that the summit is a trap and there is an assassin that is planning to kill their people.
24. A glimpse of the assassin's face in a dark room.
25. Raven, Gina and Sinclair rush back to the Mess Hall where Pike is interrogating Echo about her motives. After Bellamy says that he trusts her, they make a plan to get their people out of Polis.
26. Pike insists on needing to activate the missiles, but Sinclair says they don't even have the launch codes. Raven states arrogantly that they have her.
27. Bellamy asks Gina to help the others while he goes to Polis and promises to be careful.
28. The assassin lights a candle, places a wristwatch (? where did he get that) and opens a metallic box to shed his blood from a cut he inflicts on his palm.
29. Kane and Abby reach Polis where there seems to be a big marketplace.
30. A little girl drags Abby to a stool while Kane explains that only the sentries are armed in Polis, so no matter how much people stare they are safe.
31. The owner of the stall (probably the girl's mother) offers Abby some squid (? not sure what sea-animal that is), but after she refuses, Kane tries and says it's delicious.
32. Seeing how good he handles the situation, Abby tells him he should get the chancellor pin back, but he disagrees saying it's time they let the people decide.
33. While Kane and Abby seem to have a moment (or it could be just me), Indra arrives to greet them and lead them inside the tower.
34. Lexa trains with a boy named Aden, who seems to best her at some point when Titus interrupts saying the Skaikru arrived.
35. He orders the rest of the kids, the Nightblood, to continue training while he questions Lexa's decision to include Skaikru in the Kongeda (coalition).
36. Stating that he has been the flame keeper/flamekepa (whatever that is) to four commanders and no one has done what Lexa has, he is concerned that whatever she does elevates Clarke. Lexa states Clarke is special because she elevates herself.
37. Titus ends the discussion saying that if Lexa wants Clarke's power, she should kill her.
38. Back in the Mountain, Sinclair, Raven and Gina try to find the launch codes with no luck.
39. Gina brings to the table the idea of Dante having written down the code somewhere in his office and Sinclair sends her to check. Raven is not that positive about how that idea is going to play out.
40. Bellamy, Pike, Octavia and Echo reach Polis's boarder only to find the guards Kane left with their throats sliced.
41. Pike blames Echo, but Octavia stops him before he does anything else.
42. Echo tells them no one leaves their weapons behind and she leads them through the tunnels to Polis.
43. In Clarke's room, she is examining the knife, when the doors open and Lexa arrives after hearing Clarke asked for her.
44. Clarke attacks Lexa holding the knife to her throat, but can't kill her.
45. Lexa apologizes, understanding what forcing Clarke in the position of killing all Mountain Men did to her psychology and tells her that she will send someone to bring her to her mother.
46. Clarke stops her and tells her she has a better idea.
47. In a guest room (?), Kane and Abby are waiting for Lexa as the sun sets, but instead Clarke comes in to tell them about Lexa's proposal about Skaikru becoming the 13th Clan (anybody else sees the unlucky number 13 here?).
48. Abby states that Grounder internal affairs are none of their business, but Kane tells her that if Lexa falls they will be at war and they have no chance of survival. So Abby agrees to go through with it.
49. Later, Clarke dressed formally enters the throne room where Lexa, the ambassadors and her mother with Kane are while a woman sings the Grounder Anthem in Trigedasleng.
50. Bellamy's group have reached Polis from underground and he and Pike kill two Grounders who work the lift.
51. Using the elevator shaft they climb on the top floor where the throne room is.
52. The assassin does another ritual where the applies blood on his face and lies on the floor.
53. Clarke bows to Lexa and so do the others
54. Lexa announces that the Skaikru will become the 13th clan and Kane takes the Grounder mark on his arm.
55. That moment Bellamy's group bursts in announcing that the summit is a trap, but no one seems to know what's happening.
56. The Azgeda ambassador denies the claims of an attack and accuses Skaikru of breaking their laws by bringing weapons to Polis.
57. When Lexa asks them to tell her where they heard those accusations from, they turn around to find Echo gone.
58. The assassins wristwatch alarm beeps and he gets out of the room. The assassin was never in Polis. He was in the Mountain!
59. In the control room, Raven gives up trying to figure out the launch codes.
60. Sinclair asks her about her injury and why won't she let Abby help. He insists she shouldn't punish herself about Finn and her mom, by thinking she deserves the pain.
61. Raven admits to be afraid that she can't be fixed and Sinclair replies that he gave a chance on a mechanic with a heart defect (aka her), which is why she should give Abby a chance.
62. Gina reports to Raven that she can't find the launch codes to Dante's office and that she'll keep looking.
63. The assassin comes in and stabs her in the stomach 3 times.
64. He opens a hidden panel on Dante's office and initiates a sequence.
65. Gina pulls herself up enough to see it's a self-destruct sequence and report it to Raven that he has the code on his arm.
66. Sinclair chases the assassin outside, with 45 seconds to go.
67. Raven saves him, killing the assassin. They get the code, but it's too late. Gina is dead and there is no one to stop the self-destruct mode.
68. Raven rushes back in to save everyone, but doesn't manage to get to the door when Mountain Weather explodes.
69. In the throne room, Bellamy is confused and Kane tells him to stand down.
70. Raven reports from the walkie and says the Grounders destroyed the Mountain, she and Sinclair are the only ones left alive and she apologizes crying.
71. The Azgeda ambassador admits to be behind it and Lexa arrests all Azgeda members including Roan.
72. Kane announces they have to leave and Lexa grands permission, while Indra escorts them.
73. Abby asks Clarke to come with, but Lexa says she is needed as an ambassador and Clarke states she needs to make sure Lexa keeps her word.
74. Abby caves, but Bellamy makes a last try to convince her to come with them, stating it's not safe and reminding her that Lexa will always put her people first. Clarke replies with "I'm sorry"
75. A few hours later, Lexa sends Titus away while she waits to hear from her scouts
76. Clarke wonders how Azgeda knew about the self-destruct (seriously, do they have a seer?!) panel and Lexa assures her that they will find out.
77. Lexa vows to Clarke not to betray her, consider Skaikru as her own people and bows before her like Clarke did before.
78. The Ambassadors of the other clans are gathered in the forest when Echo arrives to deliver a message to Queen Nia.
79. She announces that everything has gone according to plan, the Mountain has fallen and that's thanks to the last Mountain Man (? Ha?!) and Emerson appears (just when we though he was gone for good, he goes to help the Ice Nation! Classic Emerson move!)
80. Nia announces that it's alright that her son is prisoner, because soon he'll be free and Lexa will be dead.
