It was finally summer vacation. I graduated high school, along with Ryan, Spencer, Jon, and Brendon, he skipped freshman year. My anxiety has gotten better so my mom said I didn't have to take my pills that often and Brendon has, finally, started to trust Ryan and I being together. So far, my summer has consisted of listening to music, hanging out with Ryan, and watching the band practice.
"Y/n!!" Brendon yelled, running into my room
"What?" I asked frantically
"The other day I emailed Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and," he stopped to take a breath "and I asked him if he wanted to hear our demos, and he said he would. Then, he said he wants to hear us play, in person, in 2 weeks to see if he wants to sign us." He explained, in what seemed like, one breath
"Brendon, thats awesome!!" I exclaimed, jumping off my bed to hug Brendon
"Thanks, and you should be there when Pete is here." He said
"Definitely." I said
"I gotta call the guys!" Brendon exclaimed before running out of my room
I heard a crash in the hallway followed by Brendon's voice
"I'm okay!" He yelled
I laughed and shook my head and went back to reading on my bed
~~|Brendon's POV|~~
I ran down the hall and slipped
"I'm okay!" I yelled
I ran into my room and dove into my bed and grabbed my phone. I dialed Spencer's number.
"Hello?" Spencer said
"Hey Spencer!" I exclaimed
"Dude, calm down." He said
"I can't." I exclaimed
"Why?" He asked
"Well, I emailed Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy the other day. And I asked him if he would listen to our demos and he said he would. Then he said he wants to hear us play in 2 weeks." I explained on only one breath
"Oh my gosh! The Pete Wentz wants to hear us?" Spencer said in disbelief
"Yup!" I exclaimed, popping the 'p'
"Ok, I'll call Jon." Spencer said
"Ok, I'll call Ryan then." I agreed
"Bye." He said
"Bye." I repeated back before hanging up
I called Ryan and told him the same thing I told Spencer and he was happy too.
"Brendon! What was that crash?!" My mom yelled from downstairs
"I fell! But I'm ok!" I yelled back
I sprawled out across my bed and looked at the ceiling, smiling uncontrollably.
"Y/n! Ryan is here!" I heard my mom yell to my sister
I saw y/n run past my door and I heard her run down the stairs. I got off of my bed and walked downstairs because I was actually kind of hungry. I walk down to see a smiling y/n being embraced in a hug from no one other than Ryan. He makes her so happy. I waved and smiled at Ryan and he smiled back before I walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a granola bar and a bottle of water and walked over to y/n and Ryan.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked
"The movies." Y/n confidently answered
"What're you seeing?" I asked
"I dunno, something scary, though." Y/n answered again
I nodded
"Well, we better be going if we wanna be on time." Ryan said
"Ok." Y/n replied
I opened my arms, asking for a hug from y/n. She walked over and I embraced her in a quick hug.
"Have fun guys!" I called as they walked out the door
I walked back upstairs and into my room. I plopped down onto my and grabbed my tv remote. I turned on my tv and flicked through the channels until I found something decent to watch. I opened my granola bar and took a bite as I watched the tv.
~~|Ryan's POV|~~
Y/n rested her head on my shoulder as we watched the movie. The movie wasn't even scaring her. Well, once in a while she'd flinch, but not very often. I held her hand and every time she flinched I'd rub her hand with my thumb, whether she needed me to or not.
The credits started rolling up the screen. Y/n and I got up from our seats, walked out of the theater, and into the lobby.
"It wasn't that scary, to be honest." She said
"Yeah." I agreed
I planted a small kiss on y/n's forehead before I wrapped my around her waist as we walked out of the door. We walked to my car and I opened the passenger side door for y/n. She sat down and I closed the door and walked around to the other side of the car. I opened the my door and sat down as y/n was buckling her seatbelt and I did the same. I started the car and started driving. Y/n pressed the button and turned on the radio and "Sugar, We're Goin Down" by Fall Out Boy was on. Y/n and I sang along to Patrick's, and whoever else's, voice. Then I remembered, Pete Wentz was listening to the band play in 2 weeks.
"Ry? Are you ok?" Y/n asked
"Um, y-yeah. I just remembered that the Pete Wentz is coming to here us play in 2 weeks." I nervously explained as I concentrated on the road
"Don't worry about it, Ry. He'll love you guys, I just know it. And I'll be there." She said, and I could see her smile from the corner of my eye
"You know I love you, right?" I chuckled
"Yes, and I love you so much too." She said and I could hear the smile in her voice
God, I love her so much.
