"What happened there?" Roxy asked once I got back to the table.
"I forgave him." I shrugged.
"But why?! He made your life hell!"
"Because I don't want to live in the past." I told her and turned to look at her. "What he did made me who I am today. And I have a backbone so I won't take shit from anyone."
"Ok ok. Sorry I brought it up." She mumbled and turned around. I know what she's thinking she's think I want to move on from the past for her and Damon.
"Rox. Come on I didn't mean I going to drop you or anything." I told her.
"Well it sounded it like it."
"But I didn't mean it like that. Come on you know me. I wouldn't just forget one of my childhood best friends because I'm moving on from what happened two years ago. Bella still love her Roxy." I said the last of my mini speech with a baby voice making Roxy laugh. She gave me a hug which I returned.
"We missed you." She said pulling away and I looked at her confused.
"We?"
"Damon and I." She rolled her eyes and my mouth was formed in a O shape. Gosh I really am a blond sometimes...
"Yea I missed you guys to." I smiled. "Especially Damon."
"Oh! I heard that last part! You trying to be all quite." Rox laughed. She was the only one that knew I had a major crush on Damon back then. And now? Well I don't know because I haven't seen him yet!
"You didn't tell him when I left did you?" I asked her.
"Umm..." She trailed off. OH MY GOD! If she did I'm going to kill her!
"Roxy?" I growled.
"I'm just messing. No I didn't tell him about you little crush." Relief washed over me and I smiled. Thank god! "Well it wasn't a small crush."
I playfully glared at her and then laughed. I was going to tell him how I felt but then my mom told me I was moving. I din't have time to say anything when I was leaving at the airport because I wanted to talk to him in private and we had my mom and Roxy there... So that was a no go.
"Did you ever think that you would see me again?" I randomly asked her.
"To be honest I thought that if we were destined to be best friends that yes I would see you again. And look here you are." She said dramatically.
"Only you Rox. Only you." I laughed shaking my head. I started listening to the rest of the table's conversation. They were playing truth or dare... Hmm at school I never done that.
"I dare someone at this table to throw my water bottle at John's head." A brunette said. Hmm that sounds fun.
"I'll do it." I said to her.
"Really?! It's your first day do you really want to get detention if you get caught." I rolled my eyes.
"I don't care about detention." I laughed. I grabbed her water bottle that was half way filled and opened the cap a little.
"What are you doing?" Stacey asked.
"Opening the cap a little. When I throw it water will get all over him." The all laughed and said it was a good idea.
I turned around in my seat to where they said John was. Once I saw him I pulled my arm up and threw the bottle at him. It hit his head making the cap come off and water get all over him and the people who were on each side of them.
I couldn't hold in my laughter anymore and started cracking up with the rest of the table.
"Aw John don't make that face. I mean you needed a shower... and we just helped you." I shouted at him in between laughed.
His table started laughing at the comment along with half of the lunch room. He sat there for a while with a blank face then started to laugh with us. I could see in the corner of my eye one of the guys that was across from John was staring at me while chuckling and shaking his head. It was the same guy from in the hall that was getting into an argument with John.
He looked really familiar but I couldn't place a finger on it. The guy was hot! And I mean HOT! He had the right amount of muscle in all the right places and I can see his six-pack through his white shirt. The guy caught me staring and smirked at me causing me to blush like crazy form being caught.
Then I looked into his eyes. I knew those green eyes. I stared at him wide eyed while he just smile. I turned to Roxy.
"That's Damon isn't it?" I asked and she nodded. I walked out to his table and stood in front of him.
"Hey stranger."
