I turned off the shower and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around my waist before heading across the living room towards my room. Half way they I got interrupted by a knock on the door, wonder who that could be? My buddies from the underworld don't knock, and I haven't made any mortal friends yet.
Letting curiosity get the best of me of me I headed towards the door and double checked that my towel was fastened before opening it.
I smiled at the girl who was was standing there, more of a women actually. Long black hair that fell freely, blue eyes shining and her voice was so... Crap! She's talking!!
"... So I guess that's all I wanted to say. So umm, hi" she finished with a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. Now that's saying a lot coming from a devil. Especially since we only charm when it's necessary.
I cleared my throat, realizing she was waiting for an answer. "Umm, hey to you too. And thanks for stopping by, it's nice to know I have such a beautiful neighbor" I said with a smile. Wait a smile? I never smile! Damn, she must be some kind of pixie or something... A hot pixie.
"Haha, did you just call me beautiful?" She asked in disbelief.
"Umm ya, I guess I did" I stated with a chuckle. Damn! She's making me laugh!
"Well, thank you. Your quite the charming devil" she winked. Oh my gosh she winks? Damn! I'm living next to a sexy winker!
"No problem" I said with my most charming smile, maybe I can become the "boy next door" as the mortals say.
"Why thank you" she blushed before glancing at a tiny golden watch, "but I really must be going. I'm meeting my sisters for lunch." She said with a shy smile.
"Okay, well feel free to stop by anytime. Maybe you could tell me a bit more about your sisters" I said with a mischievous grin. Who knows, maybe they're all hot.
"I bet you would like that" she said as her smile fell a bit. Hmm, that's wierd... "And ya, maybe I will. As long as you promise to wear more than a towel?" She questioned playfully.
"Oh now your just ruining the fun" I laughed "but ya, I will try to wear something a little less revealing. Scouts honor!" I smiled.
"Why do I have a feeling you weren't a scout?" She said before walking of towards the elevator. Turning right before it and taking the stairs, purse in hand.
I wonder why she takes the stairs, does she not like enclosed spaces? Hmm.... I'll have to ask her next time I see her, because I will see her again.
Somehow I know I'll see her again.... And not because she's my neighbor. But something else.
Like its meant....
