I did not. I couldn't have forgotten my bag of goldfish. I carefully unzipped my pack and stuck my hang in, searching around for the bag that I had surely put back into my pack when I got up to hide behind an air vent. I must have forgotten to fold my pocket knife up all the way because my finger slid across the blade and sliced into my pointer finger
"SHIT" I yell out, immediately realizing what I had just done and quickly slapping my hand over my mouth.
I hear footsteps oh gosh I hear them coming closer I'm so so stupid what have I done
"Hey someones over there" one of the voices said
"It could be a Z, get your gun out" another voice said
And then the tears came falling down. Before the whole zombie thing happened I was one of those super heartless bitches that never cry but now all I do is cry. I suppose it's the opposite for most people, but hey I'm not like most people I guess.
Not too sure what I was even crying about honestly. Fear, exhaustion, maybe I was getting my period. Who knows. But it definitely surprised those guys that approached me
