We were five minutes from the house and I was getting even more nervous that my bike swerved
‘eva are you ok?’ I heard Amos ask threw the telepathy
‘yea im just really nervous. Lets pull over real quick’ I pulled to the side and they followed. I grabbed amy and walked her to my car with Amos
“can she ride with you? I cant face them right now and I don’t need to crash with her on the bike” he smiled and helped amy in her seat
“ok just don’t be to long, got it?” I smiled and kissed his cheek
“of course not dad” then I got on my bike and sped off.
--Luke’s POV--
Everybody was running around trying to get things perfect for the rosebud pack to get here. Im so glad we have an alliance with them because they are the most ruthless pack around, especially the fighters. I guess they have one fighter who taught them all which will be good for us because our newer members need it not really our older ones. I was pulled from my thoughts by a knock on my door
“come in” frank my Gamma came in
“there on their way alpha” I nodded my head
“has there been any news yet?” he shook his head ‘no’
“im afraid not alpha its like she vanished the day she left” he walked out then I heard 2 cars pull up so I went out to meet them. There was 5 teenage boys, an older man, and a little girl about 5 or 6 years old.
“hello im alpha Luke and welcome to the glazer pack” they all seemed to be glaring at me which took me by surprise. One of the boys stepped forward
“im alpha Troy this is my Gamma, Jake, my Delta, Shawn, my theta, Ricky, my Omega, Billy, my dad Amos and my daughter Amy” I looked behind them and didn’t see anybody else
“what about your beta?” troy smirked
“yea my beta needed time to cool off” sam smiled
“I cant wait to meet him he’s the fighter right?” amy glared at him
“my mommy is the beta and she’s not a him dummy” shawn turned to her trying not to laugh
“amy that’s rude to call him names wait till I tell mommy” she smirked at him
“if you do I’ll tell mommy you were the one who stole her last brownie” he gasped
“you wouldn’t dare” she glared at him
“watch me loser” we all started laughing.
“so your beta is a female?” jake smiled
“yup and she’s the best fighter around” sam scoffed
“how can a girl be better than a guy” ricky and billy started laughing
“don’t let her hear you say that” I looked at them
“why not?” Amos stopped them from answering
“just let them figure it out” they all had mischievous smirks on their faces. Five minutes later we heard a bike roaring from down the street and amy’s eyes lit up
“mommy’s back” she jumped down and stood in the street as a bike came roaring towards her
“she’s going to get hurt” troy laughed
“no she’s not just wait and see” we watched as she sped past amy picking her up then skidded to a halt in front of us.
“see told you” she got off her bike and the guys crowded her so I couldn’t see her then troy turned around
“Luke meet my beta Eva” he stepped out of the way and both mine and sam’s eyes bulged
“e.. e.. Evelyn?” she smirked
“nice to see you guys again” she looked hot. She wasn’t that short and fat little girl with short blonde hair anymore no way, now she had long dark hair and was really skinny and her blue eyes seemed like a bottomless pit with no emotions showing at all. Sam seemed hurt
“where did you go?” she glared at him
“I went somewhere that I was wanted, somewhere I was treated with love and respect” frank scoffed
“so you gave up being an alpha to be with them?” they all growled at him and she stepped forward and was inches from his face
“I would rather be a beta and with people who are my family then be an alpha with people who treated me like shit” sam growled too
“we are your family not them” she stepped back and hugged amos
“no you were never my family maybe by blood but you weren’t family. From the moment I met up with them they showed me nothing but love that’s a family” before we could say anything her phone started ringing
“WHAT!”..
“oh sorry elder tom”..
“yes sir”..
“yes sir I know that”..
“I’ll let them know”..
“do I have too?”..
“fine.. You are the best elder alive and I wouldn’t be me without you.. Happy?”..
“good bye”..
“im hanging up now”..
“love you too bye” then she hung up and faced amos
“we got trial tomorrow and tom says you have to be there because he knows you weren’t really sick last time” troy smirked at her
“so why exactly were you kissing ass to tom?” she sighed
“because if I didn’t I would have to go stay at the mansion with them until next week” man I was confused
“why and how are you involved with the elders?” she glared at me but shawn draped his arm over her shoulder pissing me off
“because my little eva here is the zelta princese” she elbowed him in the side
“dude shut up for once not everybody needs to know that especially these damn people” he moved his hand and rubbed his ribs
“damn you hit like a dude I don’t need another broken rib thank you very much” she scoffed at him
“I don’t hit like a dude you just take it like a pussy” we all laughed until amy smiled
“mommy that’s another dollar in the cuss jar” eva sighed but pulled out a dollar bill
“fine, but your gunna make me broke” amy started laughing
“well don’t cuss then” we all started laughing then I led them in the back yard where frank was training our newest member. Eva was watching very intensely
“can you guys notice whats wrong with this match?” I looked but didn’t see anything but Jake smiled
“oh yes so far I got 3 things what about you?” she tilted her head to the side and squinted her eyes
“ok this needs to stop now… brake it up guys” frank glared at her
“why are you stopping my training?” she laughed at him
“you call that training? I call that an epic fail and if you were to be fighting like that in a real battle you would be dead in an instant” he glared at her
“and you think you can do better?” she smirked
“baby I know I can. Nobody can beat me ever” he laughed at her
“you’re a chick how can you beat me or any other guy for that matter?” eva started breathing hard and shaking you could just feel the anger coming off of her body so ricky and billy started holding her back as she was thrashing trying to get to frank.
“let me go” troy stepped in front of her
“not until you calm down” she stopped and glared at him
“LET.ME.GO.NOW” everybody flinched at her tone. Frank started laughing
“just let the big bad wolf go. I’ll put her in her place” troy laughed
“whatever, let her go boys if he wants to be hurt so be it” they let her go and she got in a fighting stance as troy turned to me
“you might want to start looking for a new Gamma” we turned back to watch the fight. Frank was constantly throwing punches and kicks he looked like he was getting tired and eva didn’t even brake a sweat
“rule number 1, don’t put to much effort in the beginning you’ll tire yourself out” frank kept looking around him then she knocked his feet out from under him
“rule number 2, keep your eyes on your opponent not what’s around you” by now the whole pack was outside watching. He ran at her but she dodged it knocking him on his back then she pressed her foot to his throat and the more he struggled the harder she pressed
“rule number 3, don’t be cocky and never, I mean NEVER underestimate your opponent” she backed up and let him get to his feet and he just glared at her
“how the fuck did you do that?” she smirked at him
“well living with all guys for four years and training with the elders you tend to pick things up quickly” amy ran and jumped into her arms
“can I go with you to visit uncle tom, pretty please mommy?” then it finally hit me like a truck load of bricks, MY mate had HIS kid and not MINE.
