"Mommy. Stop . . . Please?" My voice crooked out in my fear. She traced my quivering bottom lip with her favorite lighter . She lights it . I yelped out in pain.
"Maybe next time you'll learn to keep your mouth shut!" I stood there frozen. How did she know , the only person I told was brooke.
She must of told her. Why would Brooke do this to me . She knew I was getting abused , I trusted her.
Crying was an understatement of what I felt like doing . I started sobbing .
" oh and Megan think twice about telling people what goes on in my house hold , because next time I may just need to burn your tongue off to teach you a lesson. "
I recoiled at the thought of that. she stepped over me swaying her blonde ash hair and began to guffaw walking to the kitchen.
