His POV

continued...

"I just slit my entire finger with that damn paper." She stared at her finger, sighing as the thick red liquid rushed out.

His eyes widened, the repulsing, yet compelling color of blood filling his mind. He felt his eyes changing, his fangs slowly moving back into place.

"I'm gonna go get a band-aid." She shrugged, getting up and leaving the room.

He panicked, prying open the nearby window and jumping out of it as he turned into a bat, hoping no one saw.

He flew through the cabin's window as well, his fangs fully out and his eyes completely red. He became impatient as he searched for one of the Jacks, he needed them.

Suddenly, he heard moans and he couldn't have been more angry.

He tore open the door, recognizing how bad his sentence would sound. "Jack, I need you now."

Gilinsky suddenly pulls off Johnson, his eyes showing irritation. He was fully naked but Shawn didn't really care at the moment, all he cared about was getting blood before he killed someone.

"You're gonna pay for this," He mumbled, leaning his neck back to give access to Shawn. He didn't reply as he bit down on the werewolf boy's soft neck, taking his blood straight from one of his main veins.

"S-Shawn, stop." Jack pushed Shawn off after two minutes, his eyebrows furrowing at his sudden urge to intake blood. "I need it." Shawn's eyes were red, taking steps towards Jack as he moved away.

"Shawn, I said to stop. Don't make me stop you." He threatened calmly, his back nearing the wall.

"I just need a little more, okay?" He stared straight into Jack's eyes, his jaw clenching and unclenching subconsciously.

"No, you don't. You were fed two days ago, you're fine." Shawn didn't hesitate as he quickly leant down, biting Jack's arm.

Gilinsky was also fast to react, slapping Shawn on the head. "I told you no." He pushed him once again, moving to return back to Johnson.

Shawn grabbed his shoulders, slamming him against the wall. "And I told you yes. So why the fuck didn't you listen?" He hissed, forcefully pushing him for a small effect.

"I will get the necklace if you don't stop." Jack warned, Shawn flinching at the name. "I just want a little more, so you can either spare some or I won't spare your hairy werewolf ass." He reminded, stepping closer once again.

Shawn's eyes widened as he let out a hiss, his arm burning profusely from where the silver was pressed against his skin. His eyes faded to a softer red, his fangs retracting slightly.

He stood frozen for a couple moments to relay what just happened, a dark red mark stained on his forearm. He looked up at Johnson and Gilinsky, who were both deadly staring.

"I thought you learned how to control it," The blonde softly spoke, averting his gaze to the floor.

Shawn sighed, rubbing his eyes and face with the pads of his fingers. "I don't know what just went on." He admitted, shifting between looking at the two Jacks.

"Are you sure it's safe to go back to her house?" Johnson asked after a minute, looking at the boy.

How did Jack know he was with her? He never said anything before he left. "I could see you walking out of the woods with her."

Shawn groaned, "Stop the whole telepathy thing. It's annoying as fuck, bro." The two boys laughed, making him sigh slightly.

His eyes widen, "Shit. How long has it been since I've been here?" He cringed at his own sentence but pushed it away.

"I don't know, like six minutes?" Gilinsky shrugged, Johnson nodding in agreement.

"Ugh. I'll see you later." He adjusted his coat, "Don't fuck too much." He said as he left, earning No promises! from Gilinsky.

Shawn ran through the woods, remembering to hide his fangs and eyes in the last second as he climbed up to her window. He fell in, trying not to make too much noise as he shut and locked the window again.

"Sorry it took so long," She mumbled as she entered the room, looking up at Shawn. "You okay?" She asked, sitting beside him.

He laughed, and shifted over. "Yeah, blood just gives me the heebie-jeebies sometimes." He shuttered for effect, making Brooklyn laugh lightly.

She sighed dramatically, "Great, now there's another girl in the house." His mouth fell agape, a playful scoff leaving his lips.

"Hey!" He pouted, poking her shoulder. She just shook her head, getting up and grabbing a bag of chips on her desk.

"So," She pushed a Dorito in her mouth, "I was thinking we could play the whole twenty questions thing?" She paused for a quick moment, "Or is it twenty-one questions?"

She seemed genuinely confused and he laughed. "It's twenty-one." He corrected, making her roll her eyes. "Chips?" She moved the bag in between them, making him smile.

Though he thought human food was quite useless to him (considering his heart didn't even beat, nor did he need energy), it was still a nice gesture and ate some anyways.

"You suggested it so you go first," He was quick to say when she went to appoint him, making her softly whine.

"Do you like pizza or pizza bites more?" She asked, a serious expression her face. "There's a difference?" He laughed, the smile dying when he noticed she wasn't joking.

"Of course there is," She scoffed, selecting specific chips out of the bag.

He watched her, completely forgetting the question. "Why are you only picking certain ones?"

" 'Cause the regular full ones don't taste as good. I like the ones that got smashed or the ones that are folded up." She simply stated, as if everyone did that.

"Weirdo— but to answer, I like pizza better. Anyways," He paused to think of a question, taking a chip. "What's your sister's number?"

"Ow!" He yelled, "I was joking! Damn," He rubbed his arm from where he was hit, "it just had to be the lamp."

She snickered, setting her bedside lamp down on the mini table again. "You deserved it."

"Anyways," He repeated, "how old are you?" He realized they had never actually said their ages so he took the opportunity.

"Eighteen," She looked up as she spoke.

"I'm twenty, don't worry." He lied, not even feeling bad about it. He was kind of twenty, if you add one hundred to that.

"What college do you go to? I mean, if you go."

Oh fuck, He thought to himself. He can't recall what he says when this question is asked. Is he supposed to say he goes to a far away college or just act like a dropout?

"Um, I used to go to Mohawk College when my parents could still help me out." He tried to play it off, making it seem like it wasn't a big deal.

No, his parents hadn't been the best ones ever. But they definitely didn't deserve what fate handed to them, and he can't help but miss them to this day.

"Oh. Did they cut you off?" She tried to ease the tension a little.

"Nope. They died in a fire." He replied bluntly, seeing the look of shock come across her face.

"Damn, that's bad." She sighed, "But I understand you. I lost my mom about eight months ago, it was terrible," She spoke the last sentence softly.

"So, how do you like Pickering?" He asked after a moment of silence, bringing some light back into her eyes.

"Yeah, it seems alright. I kind of wish you still went to high school." She joked, shrugging her shoulders overall. It was something she seemed to do a lot.

"Where do you live?"

"Woah, what a stalker." He commented without thinking, making them both laugh.

"Not like that, weirdo."

"I live in a cabin in the woods we walk through," He laughed, smiling lightly.

"Seriously?" She seemed impressed, about to say something when Shawn's phone rang.

"Get your ass home," Johnson's voice sounded through the speaker, making his eyebrows furrow in confusion.

He gave Brooklyn the one minute gesture, pulling on his shoes and zipping his coat, "What's wrong?"

"I can't discuss it with her near you. Just come home, okay?" He mumbled a yes before hanging up.

"I gotta go, I think one of my roommates let a squirrel into the cabin again." He sighed, a small smile escaping his lips.

"Okay," She hugged him when the reached the front door, "thanks for staying over. Good luck with the squirrel."

He nodded, waving goodbye on his way out.

"What did you want?" He asked as he entered the main room, concerned on what could be wrong.

"We're having a movie night and have you seen the new episode of The 100? Shit's goin' down."
