Ok, this is the second poem I have written in a long time. While writing this poem, I thought about how a person who was mute would feel. Then, I also thought about people who have the ability to speak, but no one listens. So I wrote this poem thinking that just maybe, I could voice the opinions of those, whose voice can not be heard.

I try to speak
But there's no sound
I try and try
But words weren't found
I try to plead
But no one cares
I try and try
But they just stare
I try to ignore
But it doesn't leave
I try and try
Nothing, I recieve
I try to hold it
But I fall apart
I try and try
Without a start
I began to give up
And bid good-bye
Gone was the world
My silent lullaby

It's hard, isn't it. To be unable to speak. To have no one listen to you even if you raise your voice and shout. It makes you just want to give up and bid good-bye, right? But don't give up yet. Because if you wait just a bit longer, there will be someone who's willing to listen to you, someone who will think of you as their world. So until then, just bear a little longer.
