It was so cold. I couldn't exactly remember what my mother and father looked like. My memory was almost completely blank. I wish I knew why I was out here in the middle of nowhere. I slowly sat up. The only light was the moons majestically glow over the beautiful and untouched snow.
I looked down at my small mittens. My clothes was ripped hear and there. A large scratch covered my cheek. Along with other cuts and drips of blood. My long brown hair feel down my back, barely touching the snow. My crystal blue eyes dazed up at the moon. I was trying to gain some kind of memory.
"Hi there, child." My eyes widen, whipping my head around. My breath hitches, meeting cold crimson red eyes. The man with the piercing cold eyes wrapped his fingers around my neck, slamming my body into the snow. He growled lowly, bending down close to my neck.
I wince, closing my eyes. The grip suddenly vanished from my skin, I slowly opened my eyes. Blood covered the white snow. My eyes widened in horror. The body of the tall man fell down beside me.
"Are you okay?" I pale hand came out before my eyes. I look up at a brown haired man. His beautiful green eyes glistened as he stared down at me. I only stared back, slowly reaching out and taking his hand. He smiled warmly at me.
"SHANNON MARIE! WAKE UP!" He yelled.
"Hm?" I stared at him confused.
"Wake. Up. Shannon!"

"Alexander!" I jumped, looking around wide eyes. I pant quietly, glancing over at Elizabeth, calming down slightly.
I sigh softly. "Seriously? Another dream about Alexander?" Elizabeth asked, raising an eyebrow. I blushed hard, hanging my head.
"S-shut up. I can't help what I dream about," I mumbled, "Hey? What time is it?" I ask, looking over at Elizabeth.
"It's about three-ish. It's almost time for us to go back to our dorms. Supposedly we are getting a new student named Aiden. Everyone has been talking about him." Elizabeth slowly got up, grabbing her books.
"I haven't heard." I yawn, grabbing my books and such, getting up and going to walk out with her. We walk out into the garden, walking towards our dorm.
"Hey, Shannon? Aren't you on duty tonight?" Elizabeth glanced over at me. Her grey-ish green eyes were bright. Her short blonde hair curled a centimeter over her shoulders. Her bangs were straight and right above her eyes. She pushed her books against her flat chest.
"I think I am. I'm not sure who with. I'll have to go and talk to Alexander to see who I am partnered with." She nods, "You seem kinda dazed off today, Shannon. Are you okay? I could easily ask to go with you if you wanted m-" Elizabeth stopped when I bumped into a taller figure. My breath hitched, looking up. He looked the same as he did back then.
"A-Alexander?" He smiled warmly at me.
"Hey Shannon. I was actually wanting to ask you a favor. Would you like to come with me?" I glance over at Elizabeth. She smiled and nodded. Alexander softly took my hand, pulling me to the main office. The walk there was silent. Alexander always looked unhappy, but that was normal for the boys in this school. I never argued against it.
We walked into the office. Standing in front of the school masters' desk was a young boy, about seven inches taller than I. He had short and silver-ish white hair. His eyes were a beautiful blue. His body was well toned and he was dressed nice.
"Meet Aiden De Luca. Aiden, meet Shannon Marie Loveless. Remember what I told you earlier." Alexander and Aiden glared at each other for a long time, "Now. You two will be on guard tonight. And I will keep a close eye on you two. Shannon. I would like for you to show Aiden around. If you don't mind it."
I only nod, wrapping my arms around myself. Aiden stayed quiet. He walked past me, soft bumping my arm. I assumed that he was going to go to his dorm room. I glance over at Alexander. He softly cupped my cheek.
"Don't let Aiden touch you. Okay?" I nodded.
