**Okay I know I said I'd post this in a couple of days....well I couldn't wait. lol Anyways I hope you have enjoyed my story and I would love it if you would comment and vote. I appreciate them all so much and they warm my heart everytime. I am happy to say that I am finished my first manuscript and now I plan on editing it and putting it up on smashwords and perhaps send out some query letters to some publishers! Wish me luck!

Thanks everyone!

Melanie

Epilogue

I walked out of the cabin and down to the trail leading to the brook just behind the house. Ian and I had our own place for a couple of years now. It was wonderful. Ian had become the permanent Alpha of our pack and I had officially become his mate, if you know what I mean.

Ian liked to spend his free time down at the brook and I knew that was where I would find him. Sure enough he was sitting on the bank, his black hair shining in the sun. My heart warmed at the sight and it made me realize how lucky I was.

Walking up behind him I leaned up against his back and rested my head on his shoulder.

“Catch anything yet?” I whispered in his ear.

“Hmmmm….not yet,” he replied, turning his head to plant a kiss on my lips.

I ran my fingers through his hair, loving the silky feel of it.

“If you keep that up I’m going to forget about fishing and take you back to the cabin and make you forget your name,” he threatened.

My heart started to pound, just like it had when he first touched me.

“Well you might want to do that anyways once I tell you my news,” I said pulling out the little stick I had stuck in my back pocket.

I held it in front of his face and he nearly fell over with shock.

“You’re pregnant?” he asked, his eyes round like saucers.

“Yup, you’re going to be a papa wolf,” I said smiling.

Ian pulled me down onto his lap and kissed me like I might disappear in the next second. When he pulled back I nuzzled my face into his neck while he rubbed his hand over my belly where our child was growing inside.

I heard a snap of a twig in the bush and when I looked up I could have sworn I seen a flash of something or someone but I ignored it. I was too happy sharing my news to worry about what was in the woods. It was probably a deer or something that had caught our scent and took off.

Ian scooped me up in his arms and started heading towards the cabin.

“Now about making you forget your name,” he said huskily, brushing his lips against mine.

“Hmmm…yes about that,” I said and giggled.
