A year later.
"Baby, wake up."
I open my eyes lazily when I felt Jinhwan slightly shaking my body. I smiled to him as he kissed my forehead like he always do every morning. I get up and stretched out my body.
"Yah!" I almost exclaimed when Jinhwan suddenly poke my waist, which tickles me.
He laughed, "Ppalli get up. You are taking so long."
I groaned in laziness as I get off of my bed. It's just Saturday and we have no class today so why do I need to wake up early in the morning? I want to sleep more~
"Ppalli, Kang Yerinnnnnn," he said again while dragging me into the bathroom.
I whined, "Oppa, I'm still sleepy!"
"No no no, you must come with me today. No buts, no excuses. Now go and wash up," he scolded like a granny.
"Pass the towel please!"
He went to grab my towel and give it to me. He was about to peek into the bathroom but I quickly slammed the door hard and it's almost hit his nose.
"Kang Yerin!!!!!!" he yelled. I think it's really hit his nose based on hearing how he yelps just now.
I laughed devilishly as I started to undress myself. I brushed my teeth and step into the bathtub which already filled with warm water. I sunk myself in it, totally enjoying the warmness of the water. Ahhh~ This is so refreshing!
After wash up, I went downstairs to grab my breakfast and I saw Donghyuk and Yunhyeong were there too, eating.
"Morning!" I greeted them cheerfully.
"Mor-uh-ning," Yunhyeong greeted back with his mouth fulled with sandwiches.
I laughed as I slightly pinched his cheek. "You are so cute!"
He blushed a bit which make me laugh even louder. It's attracted the others' attention and the rest came and join us as well but I don't see Hanbin anywhere.
"Shuu shuu, this is my place. Beside my girlfriend," Jinhwan pushed Yunhyeong away and took a sit beside me.
I laughed when I saw Yunhyeong pouted and muttered something. His mouth was still full so it's kinda hard to hear what is actually he said. I'm sure he is cursing Jinhwan for kicking him from his seat. Lol.
"Where is Hanbin?" I asked when the others seemed didn't bother about his existence in this house.
Jinhwan: That's the reason why I woke you up a bit early today.
"What? What?" I asked in excitement but deep inside my heart, I was so curious and nervous. Heh.
Bobby: What's date for today?
I think for awhile and tapping my chin. "October 21st?"
They all shook their head. I frowned as I grabbed Jinhwan's phone from the table, to check the date. My eyes widened. It's October freaking 22nd.
Chanwoo: Today is Hanbin hyung's birthday!
"I thought it's tomorrow?" I said in confusion.
Really, I remembered that yesterday is October 20th and today must be October 21st. How can it be October 22nd today?
"I swear, yesterday is October 20th!" I argued, still defending myself.
Yunhyeong: Aniya! Aniya! Today is October 22nd. You saw it yourself.
Jinhwan: Yeah, babe. My phone must not mistaken. It's really October 22nd~
I sighed. Maybe I was too tired yesterday after work, that's why my eyes can't see what I'm seeing properly.
"Okay okay! We should do something to surprise him! What do you guys have in mind?" I asked excitedly.
They all suddenly laughed in unison which make me frown. Did I do a joke just now? The loudest one is Bobby but since Jinhwan is sitting beside me, I smacked his shoulder, making him yelps.
"Why are you guys laughing at me?" I asked then pouts.
Donghyuk: You are so excited after knowing that today is Hanbin hyung's birthday and today is really October 22nd.
Yunhyeong: You even spilled your milk... *points at the table*
Oh, owwwwwwwww.
I smiled awkwardly to them when I realized what I have done. I quickly ran to the kitchen to clean the spilled milk.
Jinhwan: Baby, you are so cute! *pinch my cheek*
"Oppa, stop. You are embarrassing me!" I cried in embarrassment.
Bobby: Aniyo, it's fine. We know you are just excited for Hanbin's birthday.
"But where is he?" I asked again. "Eh, Junhoe isn't here too. I almost forgot about him!"
Seconds later, Junhoe appeared with his sleepy face.
Jinhwan: *yell* DID YOU JUST WOKE UP? I TOLD YOU TO GET READY, WASN'T I?
He was still with his poker face while he looking at us. I wanted to laugh seeing him like that but Jinhwan seems mad.
I calmed him down. "Oppa, it's okay. Don't be mad," I said softly as I caressed the back of his hand.
He exhaled heavily and nodded. "June has never changed although we are going for our second year in university. Haish."
I giggled, "That's normal. June oppa must be tired from last night work. That's why it's hard to wake him up."
Junhoe: I'm glad Yerin could understand me. Not like you, hyung. *smirked*
Jinhwan: Shut up, June. Go wash up now or else I won't let you breakfast later.
Junhoe: Hyung, you are so cruel ㅠ.ㅠ
"Oppa.."
Jinhwan: *rolls eyes* I was just kidding. Now go wash up so that we can discuss our plan.
Junhoe: What plan?
Everyone: JUST GO TAKE YOUR SHOWER FIRST, YOU PABO!
Then he pouted as he walked away. I burst out laughing with Bobby, Donghyuk and Yunhyeong meanwhile Jinhwan just shaking his head in disbelief and Chanwoo went to wash his hands.
After 30 minutes of waiting for Junhoe, finally he come back with a fresh face and he is just wearing a black sleeveless shirt with track suit. He settled down beside Donghyuk and eat his breakfast.
Jinhwan: Listen up here, kids.
Junhoe: Hyung, let me eat first -.-
Donghyuk smacked his head, "Are you eating with your ears? Just let Jinhwan hyung proceed what is he going to say!"
I laughed. They are so hilarious. Although they are fighting with each other over a small things, I found it's cute. They were born in different families but their brotherhood is really no joke.
Jinhwan: So, this is the plan....
Jinhwan starts to explain his plan to us. He even told me to do this ALONE. At first, I wasn't agree with him but he eventually explain why.
Junhoe: I think Jinhwan hyung is true. Hanbin never get suspicious in whatever you do, Yerin.
Chanwoo: Yeah, you looked so innocent ~_~
I rolled my eyes as I slightly kicked his leg under the table. What does he mean by I'm innocent? He yelped in pain, apologizing.
We continued our discussion for another 30 minutes before I went back to my bedroom to get ready. Just then, Jinhwan came in.
"Babe.." he called me softly.
I was combing my hair in front of the mirror when I saw he was walking towards me. I turned around only to see his gloomy face.
I cupped his face, "Hey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just that I missed you.."
I chuckled at his cuteness. How can he missed me when I'm always right in front of his eyes? We never separate from each other unless we had to go to the different class in university and most of the time, we were always together.
He pulled me into his hug as he wrapped his muscular arms around my waist, making me jump. I don't know what's going on here but we just comforting each other while he carried me in his arm with both of my legs wrapping around his waist.
"I love you, Yerin," he whispered and kissed my cheek.
Although we have been dating for months now, I will always blushing whenever he kissed me. Sometimes he got mad because I always being shy when he wanted to cuddle with me.
"I love you too," I whispered back to his ear.
He put me down back on the floor as he still hugging me. It feels kinda uncomfortable when he keep locking me in his arm but I love it. That's mean he doesn't want to be apart from me. Hehehe.
"Let me send you to Seoul Academy," he offered as he grabbed his car keys.
I nodded in agreement and followed him.
-Seoul Academy-
"Take care," Jinhwan waved from inside of the car.
I waved back and nodded. "Nae, drive carefully!"
He smiled at me and drove off. When I turned around to face the entrance of Seoul Academy, my hearts suddenly pumping crazily as if I was sprinting in a race. I put my hands over my chest, feeling my own heartbeat. Why does I'm feeling this way?
Letting the question unanswered, I walked in.
I pushed the glass door, seeing Hanbin landed down on the floor with the papers scattered everywhere. I took a step in before he noticed me.
"Hey, Yerin-ah. Come in come in," he invited as he get up from the floor.
I lightly smiled at him and walked in. I helped in to collect all the papers around him and put it on one side. We both sat back on the floor, awkward silence filled in.
"Why do you come here?"
"Are you busy?"
We were asking each other at the same time. We ended up burst into laughter.
"You first," Hanbin said and chuckled wholeheartedly.
"Are you busy? You have been here since 5AM, right?" I asked, feeling concerned about his business.
He cleared his throat as he lean back onto the wall. "Not really busy but yeah, I came here after 5. What are you doing here anyway?"
To let the other boys come and decorate this place - I whispered to myself
"Ani, I'm planning to treat you for a cup of bubble tea and take a walk for awhile? You have worked so hard these days, Hanbin. You should rest too," I said, trying my best not to get caught.
He think for awhile before he nodded. I squealed a bit as we walked out from Seoul Academy building, heading to a bubble tea shop nearby.
"So, hasn't you decide to choose which dancer that will be collaborating with iKON soon?" I asked after we done placing the order.
He shrugged, "Not yet but I have chosen two out of 50 dancers that was qualified."
Wow, just two out of 50? It must be hard for him to chose the another five dancers.
"I wanted to let Bobby do this for me but thinking about choosing a girl dancers... no, it's okay," he chuckled.
I giggled just by imagining it how the way will Bobby do if Hanbin really let him to choose for his behalf. I think he would choose the dancers who is sexier more than talented. LOL.
The waiter came and give him our bubble teas before I paid and walked off with Hanbin. We walked to the park near the shop and took a sit on the swing.
"Thanks for the treat," Hanbin said as he showed his half-filled cup bubble tea.
I nodded, "No problem, it's been awhile since I treated you. I was curious, who is the two dancers that you already chose?"
Hanbin, Jinhwan and Bobby asked every five dancers to come to their practice room in a day and show them what they got in dancing then only Hanbin will decide with Bobby and Jinhwan's opinion.
"Kenwo and Soona," Hanbin replied.
I nodded and made my mouth like an 'o' alphabet. "Kenwo is really a good dancer though. I saw her dancing video on YouTube. She is such a dancing machine."
Hanbin nodded in agreement.
"But why do you take so much time to choose the dancers? They are all good in dancing so it would be no problem with them," I said.
"Yeah, but aside from dancing, I need to considerate their attitude. If their attitude is bad, I don't think we can get along."
Says the leader of iKON.

I took out my phone from my pocket when I heard a beep, indicating that someone has sent me a text message.
Babe, we are done. You can bring Hanbin back to the academy now.
From: little sweetheart
"Hanbin, let's head back to the academy now. I'm freezing," I made an excuse so that we can head now.
Hanbin nodded as he poked my cheeks. "We aren't supposed to be here in the first place though. You may catch a cold later."
I smiled shyly.
"But I have craving for bubble tea for months, you know? Jinhwan doesn't let me to buy it," I whined, remembering how hard I tried to coax Jinhwan to buy me a cup of bubble tea.
He chuckled, "Jinhwan hyung is just care about you. The whether isn't suitable for us to drink bubble tea."
"Yeah, keep defending your hyung," I said while pouting, silently rolling my eyes in annoyance.
Hanbin suddenly burst out laughing. I smacked his arm in dissatisfaction. Finally, we are now in front of Seoul Academy. Just need to take the elevator to reach at the practice room then Hanbin will get surprise~
"Wait, I want to go buy some snacks at the mart. You may go in first!" he shouted and ran away before I could say anything.
I sighed. Probably I just need to wait for him to enter the practice room by himself then.
I pushed the glass door that had 'Seoul Academy practice room' on it. It was dark when I walked in, maybe the boys was getting ready to surprise Hanbin.
I took out my phone from my pocket and used it as the light source to walk. I might be hit the wall. Kekeke.
When I was lighting to the front, I saw someone's back. Seconds later, I heard a familiar voice and it's belongs to Jinhwan.

He get up from where he was sitting, walking towards my direction slowly in a half of minutes, making my heart feels like want to jump out from my body in every step he took. My knees already felt weak when Jinhwan finally stood right in front of me, still singing the song and I couldn't help but smile at him.

I was so speechless. He successfully finished his song, leaving a thousand of mixed feelings in my heart; happy, feeling touched, nervous, confused and all. Everything already mixed into one. Jinhwan put the mic he was using just now on the table before he grabbed my hands, locking it with his tiny hands. I kept smiling like an idiot at him. Damn.
"You got such an amazing voice. I love it," I complimented and smiled brightly.
He leaned in, pecking my lips. My eyes slightly widened at his sudden action but then, I can feel my cheeks burning up again as usual.
"What are you doing this? We are supposed to surprise Hanbin on his birthday, not me," I said, voicing my thoughts.
Jinhwan flashed an unreadable smile to me which make me frown in confusion.
"Happy first anniversary, baby," Jinhwan whispered.
My jaw slightly dropped. "Pardon?"
"Today is our day, not Hanbin's."
I feel like I want to ripped off my hair, hearing what just came out from his mouth. So, I get trolled?
"But today is October 22nd? Our anniversary is one day before." Damn, this is totally confusing me.
"I set the date on my phone advance one day to make you believe today is really October 22nd," he said, smiling innocently at me.
I punched his chest when finally I know the truth, "I knew it! I knew I wasn't wrong!"
He burst out laughing while trying to catch my hand but I was way more faster than him.
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry. I just want to make a surprise for you. You were working overtime last night so that we could gain extra money. I don't want you to make surprise for me instead. Plus, we were busy studying until I couldn't make some time to spend with you," he said making me froze on my feet.
His words somehow make me touched.
"Did the boys know about this?"
He nodded, "They all know and what were you seeing at home just now, that was all just an acting. I wasn't mad at June, really."
I giggles when the moment Jinhwan yelled at June came into my mind. "You guys are all a good actor. I'm totally fooled."
"Hehehehe, mianhae."
I shook my head, pulling him into a tight hug. He, of course, hugged me back before we pulled away. I can't describe what I'm feeling right now, I'm just beyond happy. I thought we were going to surprise Hanbin but I was get surprised instead. Jinhwan, you are really fulled of surprises.
"Do you like it? I mean, the surprise."
I nodded repeatedly and hug him again. "I love it! You are so sweet, oppa. Thank you!!"
He laughed and patted my back. "You are welcome. Anything for my baby."
We broke the hug and the awkward silence filled in. We never been in this awkward moment since we were dating before and this is the first time. Jinhwan walked closer to me, making me flinched in shock. His left hand making its way to the back of my neck, pulling me into a kiss.
I admit that I missed his lips for so long and I never expect it will be happen today. His lips were still smooth and soft as before and I love it. We were drown into the deep and passionate kiss before we pulled away, gasping for air to breathe.
I looked down shyly when Jinhwan stared at me intensely while smiling, running his fingers through his hair. Aww, he looks so hot! He rested his forehead on mine, staring me straight into my eyes. His eyes were sparkling in happiness and no word could describe how happy I was, too.
"Thank you for staying with me and never get bored with my attitude. You are the best partner I ever had in my life. I love you so much, Kang Yerin," he confessed, making me blushing even more.
"I have had enough, Jinhwan. I only want to be happy with the one whom I love the most. That's all."
He smiled as he pulled me into a hug back again, burying his face at the crook of my neck. I smiled to myself, sniffing his favorite perfume he was wearing on his chest.
"I swear I will stay by your side and protect you at all cost. I will never let anybody hurt you like what Hana did to you, Yerin," he whispered, not breaking the hug.
I smiled bitterly thinking about Hana. Today is the day when she was committing suicide too. "Jinhwan.."
He pulled away and quickly stared into my eyes, "Hmm?"
"Can we visit Hana today?" I mumbled the words.
"Sure, she used to be our friend after all," he said, smiling at me.
I'm so thankful for having him as my boyfriend in my entire life. Jinhwan is the best boyfriend than ever and I don't think I could find another one just as perfect as like him. If I can tell the world how much I love him, I would do.
