she visited her parents today, and she invited you to come along with her.
she placed the flowers she had gotten for them on their graves and sat down in front of them. you didn't say anything as you sat down next to her. this is was her time.
it was a while before she spoke.
"she changed. she's becoming the person she was again. she even the got the internship she wanted. i had my doubts, but so far she's proving me wrong."
"and me, well i finally stood up for myself. and it felt good. you told me to always be myself, and that's what i've always done. even when people didn't like me, i didn't change. i made new friends and even got myself a boyfriend."
you smiled as you heard her say boyfriend.
they had become official a few weeks ago.
"i miss you both. i wish you were still here, but you're in good place now. you're still here with me though. always will be. i love you mom and dad."
you held her in your arms as she cried.
