Monsoon is a season of rain
It soothes and cools down the brain
We have heavy rain and light showers
But it helps in growth of plants or flowers
In the mud grow mushrooms
And on the open terrace to sweep we use brooms
We sit back and look at the rain we enjoy
While kids' hearts are full of joy
The excess water flows down the stream
Sometimes we just sit and daydream
We usually choose to write with waterproof pens
In joy lay eggs the hens
Many wish for it to come soon
A season of rain is monsoon
