I was hoping nobody would come upstairs to look for me but then I soon hear footsteps. How lovely. I sigh and wait for Tony to come through the door, wait why Tony? What about Mike? I hope it's one of them. "Alexis?" I hear Mike call out. I smile a little and run a hand through my hair. "In here." I yell. I hear his footsteps get closer and soon he's in the doorway. "Everything alright?" He asks concerned. I nod but then shrug. "Can I talk to you?" I ask quietly. "Sure." He smiles and sits on the bed beside me.
I take a deep breath and look him in the eyes. "Mike, I really like you. I mean I like you a lot, but I like Tony too. It sounds bad, I know but please just believe me when I say I want to be with you." I finish and study Mike's face. He's completely motionless. "Alexis, let me know when you know what you want. Until then, I want nothing to do with you. I'm not going to be caught in this stupid shit." He gets up and looks at me once more before leaving the room. So this is what I get when I try to be honest? This is what I get for saying my true feelings?
I knew for sure that I shouldn't be here, I needed to be at home. I get up and make my way downstairs. "There you are." Jaime shouts. I fake a smile and walk past him to the front door. I really just needed to get out of here. I quickly slip on my shoes and open the door. I step out before closing the door behind me. I didn't have my car here so I have to walk, but I'm not quite sure how to get home. I groan and walk down the street, away from the house.
I was completely lost now, I had no idea where I was and I couldn't even call anybody because my phone is broken. I continued to walk though, I know eventually I'll end up somewhere familiar. I was sadly mistaken though, I still don't know where I was and now my heart was pounding, my breathing was heavy and I felt dizzy. I find an alley way and decide to walk through it.
I was half way through the alley when I hear laughing. I quickly turn around and see four guys behind me. Shit. "Hey pretty lady, what're you doing by yourself?" The one tall guys asks. I know I shouldn't answer but maybe they can help me. "I'm lost. I have no idea where I am." I say honestly. The guy laughs and shakes his head. One of the guys walks up to me and runs his hand down my side. "You look like you could use a good time right now." He whispers. I shrug his hand off of me and go to walk away but he grabs my wrist and pulls me back towards the group of guys. Not again.
Tony's P.O.V:
I saw Alexis leave the house and I was unsure why she didn't say bye to any of the guys, especially Mike. Jaime comes into the living room and frowns. "Alexis hates me." He says dramatically. "What're you talking about?" I ask him. "I was trying to talk to her and she just walked by me." He sighs and sits down. I remember seeing Mike go upstairs then come back down by himself. What did he do?
Everybody was confused about the situation with Alexis except for Mike. "What did you say to her Mike?" I break the silence in the room and everybody just looks at Mike now. His jaw clenches and he looks at me. "Nothing." He snaps. "Mike, seriously." Vic says annoyed. Mike sighs and shakes his head. "She told me she liked Tony and I and was confused. I told her I didn't want anything to do with her until she figured things out." He says it so simply, like it didn't even matter.
I get up and walk to the front door. "Where are you going?" Jaxin asks. "To find her. You can't just say shit like that to her." I spit in Mike's direction. Jaxin gets up and runs towards me. "I'm coming." He says. We quickly go outside to my car and get in. "She doesn't know this area." Jaxin says worriedly. I was scared for her, I felt sick to my stomach, like something bad happened to her. "Check alley ways as I drive." I demand before starting my car and pulling out of my driveway.
We were driving slow and we still didn't see any sign of her. I just hope she's okay. "STOP! THERE SHE IS!" Jaxin shouts. I slam on the brakes and Jaxin quickly gets out. I pull to the side and turn off my car before getting out and following Jaxin. "She's with guys." Jaxin mumbles. I squint to see if I know them but I don't.
"Please stop!" I hear Alexis shout. Oh, shit. I start running towards her and she sees me but the guys don't. "Hey!" I shout. The guys look at me then her. "I have 911 on the phone!" Jaxin yells as he approaches me with the phone in his hand. "Shit!" The one guy says. They let her go and run down the alley way. "Tony." Alexis cries as she runs into my arms. "Please don't ever leave without telling me." I plead. She hugs me tightly and nods her head. "I won't, I'm sorry." She whispers. I rub her head and pull away to look at her.
"Did they hurt you?" I ask concerned. She looks at me then looks at her wrists. I see hand prints, they look just like the ones from Josh. "They were going to rape me." She mumbles. I look at her and frown. "Thank god I saw her." Jaxin says relieved. "Wait, were you actually calling the police?" I ask Jaxin confused. "No." Jaxin laughs loudly and shrugs. "It worked." He smiles and hugs Alexis. "Uh, Tony, could you drive me home?" She asks nervously. I nod and take my keys out of my pocket. "Of course." I smile and start walking over to my car.
I made sure to drop off Jaxin before going over to Alexis'. I pull up in front of her apartment and turn off the car. "So, you like me still?" I say breaking the silence. She looks over at me surprised. "Mike told you?" I nod and smile a little. "Tony, I like both of you but I don't know what to do. Vic told me I was the right girl for Mike and I felt so happy but then you came around and made me realize that I'm not that over you." She's completely honest with me and I couldn't ask for anything else.
I sit there and think of what to say. "Alexis, maybe it's better you go with Mike. He hasn't hurt you, he wasn't the reason for your friends death. I'm really sorry. I still really like you, but that's something I'll get over. Mike deserves you and you deserve him." I study her face and watch as she plays with her bracelet. "Can we be best friends?" She asks with tears in her eyes. I nod and grab her hand. "Best friends forever." I smile and squeeze her hand gently. "Thanks for coming into my life and saving me from myself and others." She says softly. I lean over and kiss her cheek in response.
I watched as Alexis got out of the car and waved at me. She quickly goes inside and I start my car and drive off towards Vic and Mike's house. I had to tell them she was safe, that I saved her. I wasn't going to tell Mike anything about Alexis' decision, it's up to her to tell him.
I pull in front of the house because there was cars in the driveway already. I turn off my car and get out before locking it behind me and walking up the driveway to the door. I walk in and take off my shoes then close the door. "Tone?" I hear Vic call out. I walk into the living room to see them all with their phones out. "Did you find her?" Jaime asks. I nod and sit down beside him. "She's at home safe. She almost got raped, Jaxin and I saved her." I say looking down. "Did she reward you with sex?" Mike asks sarcastically.
"No." I snap. "I'm surprised." He retorts. "What are you trying to say? That she's a whore?" I ask. Mike looks at me and shrugs. "Mike, que paso?" Vic says. "Nothing." Mike answers back. "He's saying Alexis is a whore." I answer for him. "How is she a whore?" Vic asks confused. "We've never had sex, if you think we did, you're sadly mistaken." I hiss at Mike. "Whatever." Mike rolls his eyes and goes back to playing on his phone. I have no idea why Mike had a sudden change of attitude over this whole thing. She didn't do anything wrong except tell him the truth. I would of been happy if I was him, just to know shes safe. If she wasn't, it would be his fault.
I was thinking about our tour coming up shortly, we can't leave Alexis here. She can't be left on her own. I know she will have Jaxin, Adam and Sammy but I don't know. I don't think it'd be fair to her. I don't want to ask the guys though, they have a lot to worry about. Maybe she can join us later on in the tour if Mike's not being a douche. I just hope they work things out and she figures out what she truly wants.
Alexis' P.O.V:
What Tony said in the car, made me think. Did I deserve Mike? Does he really deserve me? I didn't know what to do, would it better to stay away from the guys for a little until I figure things out? Or should I just jump to the opportunity with Mike? But what if I'm not ready? I sigh and pull at my hair. "Why me?" I groan. I hear a knock at the door and I'm way past lazy to answer. "Alexis I know you're in there, I just heard you." It's Sammy, I haven't seen him in forever.
I get up and run to the door. So much for being lazy. I open the door and engulf him in a hug. "Sammy, I need my best friend right now." I mutter as I pull away from him. "What's up?" He asks curiously. I pull him inside and shut the door before walking over to my couch and sitting down. Sam sits beside me and looks at me with an eyebrow raised. I take a deep breath before telling him everything.
"Wow, you have a big decision. I think you should just stay away from Tony and Mike until you know exactly what you want. It's not fair to avoid Vic and Jaime, they have nothing to do with this." He pauses and studies my face. "As for the decision, go with your heart, go with what will make you happy. If none of them is what your heart says then listen to it. They want you to be happy and Tony already knows, maybe he won't make you as happy as Mike so just consider your options here." Sam sighs and sits back. He's right, I need to be happy for once, I need to do what my heart says.
Sam and I just sat around and talked for a little. "When you coming back to work?" He asks. I groan and run a hand through my hair. "When can I?" I ask. He shrugs and smiles. "Tomorrow. I'm the only one who's in from 6 to 9." He wants me to go back to my regular shifts, I know that's what he's hinting at. "Alright Sam, I'll work tomorrow." I smile and Sam chuckles. "Good, oh by the way, that night we were at Key street, I hooked up with that girl." He says with a grin. I shake my head and laugh. "I knew it. Well you aren't a bad looking guy so I'm not really surprised." Sam raises an eyebrow and smiles. "You think I'm hot?" He says while playing with his hair. "Sure Sammy." I push him playfully and smile.
Sam left after that, he had to go to work for the night. As for me, well I'm looking in the mirror. I want to change myself. I want to look different for once, I don't want old friends to able to recognize me. I take off my clothes and put on shorts and a Key Street t-shirt. I put my hair up in a bun and I slip on my sandals. I grab my keys and head out.
I drove around for quite awhile until I found a decent tattoo and piercing shop. I park my car and turn it off. I don't get out right away, I kind of just stare at the shop. Am I ready for this? I ask myself over and over. I finally get out of the car and lock my doors. Here I go. I walk into the shop to be greeted by a thin, tall girl. "Hello. I'm Rosie." She smiles and stares at me from head to toe. "I'm Alexis." I say with a friendly smile. She nods and sits back on her chair. "You have piercings right? Do they hurt?" I ask nervously. She laughs a little and shakes her head. "Pain is the game." She says with a grin.
I decided on going with snake bites, it wasn't too much and it wasn't too little of a change. I watch as Rosie talks with another guy before turning around and pointing at me. "This way." The guy says with a smile. I quickly follow him into a room with a chair and a few pictures of tattoos. "So you're a virgin?" He asks amused. I raise an eyebrow and look at him. "Excuse me?" I say defensively. He laughs and starts getting things out from drawers. "I mean a tattoo and piercing virgin." I laugh and nod. "Yeah, sorry." I respond back. He points to the chair and I walk over and sit.
"Breathe in and out on a count of three. One... Two... Three." I take a deep breath and I feel the needle go in. I close my eyes as he puts the ball onto the bar. "That wasn't too bad, was it?" He asks. I shake my head and smile. It wasn't bad at all, it didn't hurt. "Next one." He says while switching sides. "Same thing. One... Two... Three." I breathe in as the needle goes through and breathe out as he takes it out. He twists the ball on and moves away from me to take off his gloves. "All done." He grabs a mirror and hands it to me.
I sit up and stare at myself. It looked good, too good. I wanted more than that done. I'll have to wait until my paycheck though. I smile and hand him the mirror. "Thanks." I stand up and before I walk out, I look at him then in my wallet. "How much would a septum cost?" I ask curiously. He smirks and looks at me. "I'll give you a discount, it's regular price is $40 but since the snake bites are $80 and you're so tough, I'll make the cost of this at the end, only $100." $150 was what I had in my wallet. I nod and sit back down. "Deal." I say happily.
Getting my septum done, was the worst pain I've ever been through. It hurt like a bitch. I paid as soon as I was done and left. My nose felt like a brick was thrown at it. I drove home fast, I just needed a pain killer.
I pulled up in front of my building and I practically ran inside. I quickly unlocked my door and shut it behind me before running into my bathroom and grabbing two pain killers out of the cabinet. I stick them both in my mouth and take a drink of water from the tap. I sigh and turn off the water. "I hope this is worth it." I mumble to myself. I look in the mirror and smile. I looked totally different, but I loved it. My hair was fading though, the blue that was in it, was already washing out into a dull color. I remember I had a box of black hair dye under my sink, I wasn't sure if black would suite me or not but oh well, I'm going to try it. I just hope I don't look stupid.
