I rammed inside the room, yelled manik's name. According to what cabir told me he should be lying on the bed but he wasn't.
"Manikkk!" - I called his name.
No one replied. 😒
"Manikkkk! Where are you?" - I was actually worried, obviously I would, a little scratch on him and it'd hurt me more.
I took some more steps forward to check if where he is. Then I felt two hand wrapping around my waist. Wow. It was The Manik Malhotra trying to get naughty with his girlfriend. He lazily rubbed his nose on my neck.
"M..an..ik.." - I moaned.
I was panting already, because I came running to the room and then manik's actions.
"Nandini." - He said like nothing happened.
"Tum itna darr gayi?" - He questioned me.
This was enough to bring me out of my la la land. I turned towards him and asked him.
"Manik Malhotra! You think it was funny! Tumhe pata hai me kitna darr gayi thi!" - I said angrily.
He pulled me back in his arms.
"I'm fine nandini. Look. I'm all good." - He said in a calm tone.
"Never ever pull this stunt on me. Never! The thought of losing you scare the shit out of me. Do you understand that!" - I explained.
"Hey hey hey! Relax. Okay? I'm sorry okay. I'm here, right in front of you. Safe and sound. 😊" - He said and kissed my forehead.
I didn't say anything, I tip toed and hugged him tight, real tight.
He wrapped his hand around my figure. He kissed me on my head. We stood there for a while.
"Nandini, thank you so much." - He said.
"Haah?" - I said confusingly.
"Yeah. Nandini, thank you so much for completing me, thank you for being around me and thank you for everything." - He confessed.
His confession did nothing but made me feel how special I am to him. What I mean to him. I was a fool not to find him before, If I would've cleared those misunderstandings before things would be different now. But I'm glad I came here, I am happy that I met these two again, the missing part of the puzzle is him and now the puzzle is complete. We both are together - forever. 💟
"Manik, lets go back to our world. Mumbai. Lets start fresh." - I said.
"Haaan. Chalo." - He said.
He said but he didn't leave me. Wow.
"Manik. Chalo." - He said. 😎
"Manik! Ham aise chal nae sakte. Leave me." - I said faking anger.
"Han to nandini, but mujhey aise he jaana hai." - He bobbed his head like a 5 year old kid.
"Manik!!" - I said.
"Nandini!!" - He mocked.
And we both burst out laughing. He left me, he instructed me to get my bags and he's going out and he'll wait for me at the breakfast table.
I nodded and left for my room. I came out of my room with my bags and headed to breakfast table.

We left that place, cabir, dhruv and us! Dhruv in said he'll take the flight to delhi instead as he has a meeting to attend me, manik and cabir boarded our flight to Mumbai.
We had a great time traveling together, me and cabir legit made manik loose his cool. We had a great time.
"Ah. Mumbai meri jaaan! It feels good to be back!" - Cabir said excitedly.
"Yeah." - Me and manik said in unison.
"Chalo nandini, I'll drop you home. It comes somewhat in my way." - Manik said.
"Okay." - I said.
"Wait! How do you where I live?" - I enquired.
He made a chori pakri gayi face! He knew where I lived. Wow. He never tried contacting me even then. Wow. I looked at him raising my eyebrow.
"Isko kaise nae pata hoga nandini." - Cabir said smirking.
Manik passed a death glare.
"Ha ha ha ha. Chale nandini." - He said.
"Okay. Chalo." - I said.
Because if two more minutes I'd talk and waste time here, he'll pick me up. 😋
"Manik, to tu aj ghar nae ayega?" - Cabir said from the back.
"Very funny. Tu ja na apne ghar." - Manik galred at him.
"Han. Jaraha hoon aur sun kal office hai. Yaad hai na?" - He said.
"Oh shit!
Office.
Kal mujhey bhe jaana hai! Angry bird pata nae kya karega kal meray sath. I hope, he's happy with my work!" - I said in a go! I was actually worried.
"Relax nandini, office hi hai!" - Manik tried to calm me.
"Hmm. Aray! You know how hard it was for me to crack this deal. I hope abhi's parents passed good comments." - I said playing with my phone.
"Relax nandini. Abhi ke parents ne comments achay hi diye hongay. Sab acha hoga kal. Okay?" - Cabir said, this time he tried to calm me down.
"Yeah." - I replied.
"Okay guys, you both proceed, even I take a leave. Bye. Take care." - Cabir said.
"Bye." - We both said in unison.
Cabir moved his way, me and manik took a cab to my place.
We reached our place in some minutes time.

I unlocked my flat. Pushed my luggage inside, manik came inside shut the door taking a little help from his foot.
He pinned me to the wall.
"Nandini Murthy, we've to complete what you started in the morning." - He whispered in my ear.
He didn't give me a chance to react on his words and slammed his lips on mine. He didn't let me move my lips a little bit, kissed me real bad. He broke the kiss to catch his breath. I snaked my hands around his lips but grr. My short height. I couldn't reach his lips. He could sense disappointment in my body language, he grabbed me petite figure and made me sit on the kitchen slab, I wrapped my legs around his waist and we shared a passionate kiss. Breaking the kiss I said.
"Manik, I think we should have food first." - I said.
"Hmm." - He said. Aye. I could feel disappointment in his voice.
I kissed on the corner of his lips, that mole.
"Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai manik." - I said and winked.
He left me, I walked towards the landline to order something to eat.

We had food, manik wanted to leave but I didn't let him leave. I asked him to stay. I thought of a heavy make out session but manik wanted to sleep. We slept hugging eachother.

I was the one to wake up first. I snuggled more in manik. I kissed his chest.
"Manik, wake up. You've to attend office." - I said, shaking him a bit.
He didn't wake up but tightened his grip on me.
"Manik, I know you're up. Jaldi se utho or else we'll get late for office and I don't want a drama honestly." - I said in a stern tone.
He instantly got from his place, he took his clothes from this bag and walked towards the washroom. He didn't let me speak or do something. He didn't even kiss me. Kya hua hai ussey!
I sighed, moved towards the other washroom of my flat.

We both had breakfast and moved towards after respective offices.

The day some how passed. It was good. Boss liked my work in the previous event and now I'm promoted from a event manager to the supervisor. Thank god! Now I will just have to supervise events! Mujhey khud jaake sab nae dekhna hoga!
I pulled my phone to call manik, but he didn't pick up. 😒
I supposed he must be busy somewhere in his work. I headed towards home.
